God Will Deliver You From Your Troubles!

"I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together." Psalm 34:1-3

Will you go and worship the Lord today? Will you learn how to let praise be on your lips at all times? Tough order, but never forget that praise defeats the enemy. Instead of grumbling or complaining about your circumstances, choose to praise the Lord.

"I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles." Psalm 34:4-6

What a promise from God's Word. "He saved him out of all his troubles." Are you facing many circumstances and fears today? First, seek the Lord. The Lord wants us to cry out to Him for His answers, for His divine intervention and for deliverance from all your fears and problems. The enemy is trying to torment you into fear of your unknown future regarding your marriage being restored. Remember that the Lord is holding your future in His righteous right hand. Will you trust Him?

Every day we hear of circumstances that seem impossible for a stander and their family. The only way that Bob and I can encourage you is that we know what the Lord has done for us and we know God's promises. God is no respecter of persons. You need to seek the Lord, talk to Him every day, and then read and believe in the Word of God. Are you standing firmly on the promises of God for the restoration of your marriage?

"The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all." Psalm 34:17-19

Do you believe in the power of your awesome mighty God? Do you believe in miracles? I do! I believe that God hears and answers our prayers regularly. I believe in the power of prayer for small prayers, as well as, praying about big prayers. I pray for our own family and I pray regarding healing of all marriages, about your finances, your employment and your relationship with your children. Did you take for granted your marriage, your beloved spouse, your children before your marriage problems? Choose every day to get up praising and thanking the Lord for what you do have today. Your life, your health, your job, your children and ________. (You finish the rest of this sentence.)

Do you have a reverential fear of God? Do you need help? Call on the name of the Lord and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life. Are you hiding some secret sins from family and others? You are not hiding them from God. He knows everything! When you seek the Lord, confess your sins, repent and ask Him to come into your heart, come into your life and remove any sins that you are hiding.

"The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing." Psalm 34:7-9

When you start growing in the Lord and praying, expect to start seeing or hearing answers to your prayers. When you read the Word daily and you build a close relationship with your Lord throughout your day, your countenance will also change. You will start to feel the peace of God. You will then be trusting completely in the Lord for His deliverance, His protection and being your provider.

Are you willing to allow your Lord to be your refuge? He wants to be your refuge from all things. Allow Him to show you His mighty power in ways that most people may not understand. Once you have come to know the Lord this way, you will know that He is able to do anything! Allow your Heavenly Father to meet your emotional, spiritual and financial needs that only He is able to do.

You and I need to learn how to "trust" in our Lord for ALL our problems. You need to give your marriage and any other problems to your Lord Jesus, laying them at His feet, and asking Him to show you His will and direction in your life and marriage. Your Lord will save you out of your troubles. He will send answers in ways you and I could never imagine. Please notice that verses nine and ten say two important statements: verse 9: "for those who fear him lack nothing" and verse 10 says: "but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." What two powerful promises to stand on.

"Fear the LORD , you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing." Psalm 34:9-10

There are many promises in this Psalm, but they are conditional for only the ones who sincerely fear the Lord God. As you read the rest of this Psalm, note that your Lord God promises to save you from trouble, send angels to encamp around you, supply your needs, give you abundant life, hear your prayers, comfort you with His presence and will redeem you.

"Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." Psalm 34:11-14

Since this is the Lord's Day and many people are snowed in from a very bad snow storm that has broken many records, may I strongly suggest you have a special quiet time with your Lord. Seek Him. Cry out to the Lord as you draw close to Him, fearing Him, keeping your tongue from evil, not speaking lies, turning from evil, doing good, pursuing peace, seeking to have a contrite heart and becoming one of God's servants forever!

I encourage you to learn and keep Psalm 34 as a quick Psalm to turn to for comfort and encouragement when you are facing major problems. Be confident that your Lord God will help you through each problem or circumstance, if only you will surrender your life to Him daily. Examine your heart. Do you need to make some changes? Start today!

"The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:22
