COVENANT TRANSPORT TESTIMONIES

Page Two

| Page 1 | Page 2 | Page 3

"Throughout my stand, much of 40 minute drive to and from work has been filled with my talking and praying to God. On the way home today, I apologized to the Lord for always looking for some sign from Him. I know I need to walk by faith and know He is working even if I can't see it, but it can be frustrating when others experience different signs. I asked God if I was missing something or doing something wrong? Then a Covenant Transport truck goes by. I have never seen one of these in my life. As if to almost say, 'Yes, I am serious, that was for you,' a second Covenant Transport truck went by. Wow. Praise the Lord. (Indiana)

"I recently went on vacation with a single woman. The Holy Spirit reminds me daily that I still have a covenant with my husband. On the way home, I used the Florida Turnpike and I saw one of your "God Heals Hurting Marriages" billboards. It was such a blessing. We were less than an hour from home and the Holy Spirit moved me to give my complete testimony about my stand. Just at that moment, in a small town square were no semi-truck should have been, I saw a Covenant Transport truck." (Georgia)

"Last weekend I went with family to San Antonio. I asked for God to talk to me, just a small word. Then I saw a Covenant Transport truck passing by--twice. Just this week my husband called. I am believing God this will not be a false start." (Texas)

"The past two weeks have been very stressful here in central Florida with the dry weather and many fires popping up all over, affecting the health and work of many. I was short on staff at work, the rest of us overworked and tired, praying for rain. Interstate traffic was being re-routed on the street where I work. A Covenant Transport truck drove by. I was thanking and praising God. I knew it would be a great day and that God was at work in our prodigals, where we could not see, and rain arrived later that same day." (Florida)

“I saw a lot on a trip to Tennessee with my absent husband, but this takes the cake. While riding on the bike, my husband wasn't sure which way to go, so I prayed silently, 'Let the Lord lead you,' and the ride led us toward an intersection. As we approached the intersection, there were Covenant Transport trucks pulling up at all four corners at the light at the same time we did. I was in tears by this time with joy in my heart. Come to find out, we had gone in the wrong direction to see these trucks. The Lord was faithful to lead us there.” (North Carolina).

“My husband and I have lived apart for a few years, but our Lord, is working things out. We celebrated our anniversary last week. My husband asked me to take off work so we could spend the day together. He planned a week full of events. What a blessing. I live in Texas and we see Covenant Transport trucks a lot, so I asked the Lord for another sign. I drove up to the Greyhound bus station to drop off my mother, and the Covenant Transport company van was in the parking lot picking up their truck drivers. I have never seen their van before. God is so Great.” (Texas)

“I live in Maryland and I am a stander. I always hear about Covenant Transport trucks. Last week I was on my way home from work and looked up and right on the back of the truck was 'Covenant Transport.' I screamed and burst into laughter when I saw that. If I had any doubt that God will restore my marriage I surely don't now. Praise be to God our Father.” (Maryland)

“My husband and I have been standing for my prodigal daughter for six months. We recently encountered some setbacks and I grew discouraged. Friday evening after running errands, we were on the way home, and out of the corner of my eye I noticed a Covenant Transport truck. Then I noticed a for sale sign from Covenant Investment Realty. Both reminded me of God's promises and that His will is being revealed even when things seem hopeless. I just have to remain focused on strengthening my relationship with the Lord each and every day.” (Missouri)

“My church had a 21 day fast. Our Pastor asked us to write down what we would be fasting for and to keep a journal. The fast was the most meaningful thing I had ever experienced since salvation and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. My request was for my prodigal's salvation and his coming home. We had prayer services three times a day and I was able to go at lunch hour and then in the evening. Each day we grew closer to the Lord. At the end we had a special Sunday night service, with healings and breakthroughs. We brought pictures of our loved ones, and anything else we were believing God for. One of the ministers in my church anointed with oil and prayed over my family pictures. He prayed for restoration. On the way to work the next morning I began to weep and asked the Lord where my passion for my prodigal had gone. I asked Him to give it back and asked for a sign. But then I told Him He didn't have to give me a sign, that I was trusting Him with the unseen. I work at a retail store, and as I was leaving that day, a truck was pulling into the front parking lot. It was a Covenant Transport truck. It parked directly behind my car. These trucks do not deliver here. The driver was coming to shop. I cannot deny that God is at work on my prodigal.” (Texas)

“I walked in and out of court with peace and confidence in God as my divorce went through one year after I had to leave my home and husband. God had postponed this divorce for a year and I was crushed that it went through after I have been standing the whole time. I surrendered it all to God's best for me and my spouse, and to do whatever He must do, to turn my spouse back to Him. As I flew home to another state, I prayed, God, where do I go from here? Can I really continue to do this, stand for my marriage that the world says is over? and if so, to show me every day, every step how. The next morning as I read Charlene Cares for the days I was gone, and other verses and meditations, every one of them gave me the exact affirmation and encouragement I needed from God to continue to stand even when the world and my spouse will not understand, until God opens eyes. The next day as I went back to work, the first sign I saw was a Covenant Transport truck. God made sure I saw one every day that week, just to make sure I knew I'd heard him right. Last night, two weeks after our divorce, I went to see a gospel choir in concert. The two seats in front of me had my spouse's first name (not a common name) on the donation plates, as God reminded me again that our prodigals are thinking of us too, even when it seems they are not. Thank You God for all the ways you speak to us and encourage us as we live for you.” (Florida)

“I pass a busy truck stop on my commute to and from work. At times I see Covenant Transport trucks and I am usually looking for them. I was feeling low and looking for one as I passed by and was praying, but instead I saw an Omega truck. I felt this sign was a reminder that our Lord is the end as well as the beginning.” (Tennessee)

“I received notice that the divorce was final. This threw me into a whirlwind of emotions. I've been struggling to pull out, and always kept my faith in God's ability to pull me through! Yesterday, I passed a car with a front license plate that read 'Expect a Miracle.' I shrugged this off because of my feelings. However, this morning, I passed a Covenant Transport truck in front of me at a stop light. I don't think they ever come through West Virginia. God is faithful. He knew I needed another sign since the first didn't seem to do the trick. It renewed in me the strength that I have been missing. Thank You Lord.” (West Virginia)

“I had a down moment on the freeway last week and I prayed for a Covenant Transport truck as a sign of the Lord's work in my marriage. I had barely finished my prayer and there was a truck going the opposite direction. I was also praying to the Lord to help me work full time and always be there for my kids, especially after school and in the evenings. I was reading our weekly memo at work several hours later and a new night position, which allows you to work from home was posted. The Lord provides and His time is truly the perfect time.” (Ohio)

“Our children spent Christmas with my prodigal out of state. While they were traveling, my young son convinced his father to let him use the cell phone. He called me to tell me they had seen a Covenant Transport truck. He also said he knew God would be with me while they were away. Someone in my area has bought a Covenant Transport Truck and attempted to repaint it. Unfortunately, the Covenant Transport logo is visible through the paint. Every time I see it, I am reminded that although my prodigal has attempted to 'paint over' our marriage covenant, it remains because God has made us one.” (Wisconsin)

“Yesterday while I was preparing for my day, a scripture kept going through my head that I hadn't thought of for many months. As my day soon got hectic, I never got around to looking up the reference. However, God got my attention again in the evening when we were returning home and happened to be passing by my prodigal's apartment. Going the other direction exactly in front of his place I saw a Covenant Transport truck and the verse was pounding in my head; 'A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.' Psalm 37:10. The message I received seems to be telling me that in a little while I will no longer have to look for my prodigal's apartment because he will no longer be there.” (Colorado)

“The children and I are in the United States to spend Christmas with my mother. This is a blessing. My thoughts were filled with my husband and wondering if the children would see their father some time during our visit in the States. I turned to the left and what did I see? A Covenant Transport truck. I laughed in my heart because I have not spoken to my husband in weeks. I am just left to trust God, have faith and to believe that He is at work. Seeing the truck I believe is God's way to encourage and remind me that He has us covered.” (Grand Bahamas)

"My husband walked out on me. I didn't even realize that other people were standing for their marriages. I have been praying to God to answer me regarding His will in my marriage restoration I believe I received my answer when I was traveling with my mother-in-law to Pennsylvania. I live in Rhode Island and I have never seen a Covenant Transport truck. I prayed that God would answer me by showing me a Covenant truck during our travels. I saw my first truck at a rest stop in New Jersey. On our way back, I asked God to show me again. As I was praying the words a Covenant Transport truck suddenly appeared going the opposite direction. Shortly after that I saw two more Covenant trucks waiting in line at a toll booth. I believe God has given me my marriage blessing." (Rhode Island)

“The Lord gave me a wonderful Christian friend who is also a stander. She lives in another state and the Lord continually allows her to see Covenant Transport trucks. I have been praying for the Lord to allow me to see one also. I live in a small rural community. I was on my way back to work from lunch one day last week, and while waiting to pull out from a side street, a truck pulling a trailer passed in front of me. On the back of the trailer were the words 'Disaster Relief.' I knew it was from the Lord. He is my Disaster Relief. I praise Him for His faithfulness. I know He will save my husband and restore my marriage without a doubt.” (Missouri)

“My wife walked out months ago, and I have been standing rock solid for our marriage. I have been reading in the testimonies about the Covenant Transport trucks and how they are an encouragement to people. I have never seen one. Today in the mail, there was a letter from a charity I had never heard of. Their name is Covenant House. I know God is working to restore our marriage, but it is little things like that which are an encouragement.” (New York)

“I have been feeling hopeless. I have been praying and fasting and the Lord spoke to me in a way only He can. I have been seeing a lot more Covenant Transport trucks. I have never seen them like this before in my life. I know that this is no coincidence. It is God speaking to me and telling me to stand firm.” (New Jersey)

“Two weeks ago I was on a low. On my way to work I asked the Lord to show me something specific, seeing there are no Covenant Transport Trucks in South Africa. I am so grateful because I needed to know that I was doing what my Lord wants. On the day of our final court date the Lord showed me a board at a building site opposite my place of work - 'Covenant Civil Contractors.' The divorce did not go through.” (South Africa- different person)

“Four years ago, after his father left, our church-raised sons declared to me he had become an atheist. Three years ago the Holy Spirit began a mighty work in him. He's led him through ministry school, and even to silent prayer protests for the overturn of Roe v. Wade in front of the Supreme Court. Now, in preparation for marriage to a wonderful Spirit-filled young lady, he's become a long-distance truck driver in order to build a nest egg. The first-choice company that's hired him? Covenant Transport! God is always at work. (And next time you see one of those trucks, please wave; it could be my boy.)” (California)

"I have a friend who is a potential prodigal, but who follows the Holy Spirit's leading frequently to call me and talk her out of leaving her husband. She is having a great deal of trouble hearing from the Lord. Today, on her way home, right there in front of her, stuck in traffic was a Covenant Transport truck. She followed the truck for some time before she even noticed it was there. Not only was this a great encouragement to her, she also received a message from the Lord for me that my husband is on his way home sooner than any of us expect! Praise the Lord that with one truck He has revealed so much to both of us." (Colorado)

"My youngest daughter and I were driving to visit my oldest daughter at college. We were talking and I missed the exit. I continued to drive knowing that we would reach a major highway at some point. I started to pray for guidance. A few miles down this county road, I found the makers to the turnpike. I turned to the left to see a Covenant Transport Truck The tears began to flow and I whispered thank you Lord. At the toll booth, what was in the booth coming the other direction was another Covenant Truck. God is good and He does show us signs when we least expect them." (Pennsylvania)

“I was running errands and feeling so defeated about my marriage. God has been so faithful to me and my children as we go through this very difficult time. He has provided me with a support system and a wonderful church. That morning as I was running my errands, I called my Mom and cried my heart out, feeling like this marriage will never have hope. As I looked up a Covenant Transport truck was parked right in front of me. God is faithful and I know that one day in His time, my husband will repent and come home to his family. It is in God’s hands.” (Ohio)

I had begun doubting if it was God's will for me to continue standing for my marriage. Last weekend, my boys and I went with our Cub Scout pack to Chattanooga Tennessee. It was very foggy and drizzly. You could not see ten feet. We went to Waffle House. Rays of sunshine began to break through the clouds and fog. As sunshine got brighter I was finally able to make out the sign on the building across the street. It read ‘Covenant Transport Driver Training Center’ There was a parking lot full of Covenant Transport trucks. Then God spoke to my heart and said, 'I will restore your marriage, but in My time, not yours.” (Georgia)

“I am so grateful to be entrusted in my Lord's care and love. I have my days where the devil is really working on me. I work hard praying and following God. I was sure I was surrendering to the devil last Saturday. I lowered my head and cried out in my car and there turning onto the street in front of me a Covenant Transport truck. The Lord is returning my prodigal closer and closer every day. I am tranquil and at peace with the Lord guiding our family.” (Ohio)

“I have been very down and wondered when good things with my husband will happen. I told God that it would lift my spirits and help me to continue to stand to see a Covenant Transport truck. Next morning I was on a highway going to work. I looked up and on the overpass was a Covenant Transport truck. Yesterday afternoon my sons and I drove past a local gas station and there were two more Covenant Transport trucks. This morning I dropped my son off at school and then stopped at that same gas station and there were at least four Covenant transport trucks in the lot. God is right there next to me all the time.” (South Carolina)

“In my years of traveling back and forth from Rochester to Chicago, I have never seen a Covenant Transport truck. I enjoyed reading other people's accounts of spotting a Covenant truck during very discouraging moments and I thought how nice for them but that will never be the way that God communicates hope to me. On Monday of last week as I was driving to work, using the same route I always take to go to work, it was as though the Lord grabbed me by the head and turned it to the left and said ‘Look.’ There sitting in a parking lot where it had no business being in the first place was a Covenant Transport truck facing the road like a huge billboard. The truck has been sitting in the same place for five days. The owner of the parking lot gave the truck driver permission to park there for a week while he tended to family concerns. Covenant Transport usually does not send trucks to our part of the country but made an exception so that the driver could help his mother and so that I could experience God's love for me. Thank You Jesus. (New York)

“Every day I welcome your email devotions, which give me such hope for my daughter's marriage. I had never seen a Covenant Transport truck I have never placed much faith in such signs, but on a trip to see our daughter recently, I prayed, 'Lord, if you want me to see one, please open my eyes to see.' For the first time ever, I saw two trucks and my husband saw two others. One truck was even parked right above the highway on an overpass so we could not miss it. We just had to smile how the Lord brought some joy in the midst of our heavy heartedness for our daughter and her family.'Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.' Psalm 30:5" (Kansas)

“I saw a Covenant Transport Truck today. My husband was with me and our sons. My husband turned to see what I was looking at but I don't think he saw it. (He is a truck driver also.) I needed this, for the Lord has been quiet. I give Him praise for all that He blesses me and my spouse and our children with.” (Illinois) - - - - - “Last week I received a call from my daughter who lives out of state. She just bought a new car and on her way to work she was in an accident that could have been fatal. She was driving 65 mph when she lost control and took out four mail boxes, and went a half mile down the road spinning before she came to a stop. She had just put on her seat belt moments before she lost control, when she got out of the car she saw that the back window was shattered and on her back seat lay a wooden cross. My daughter is a non-believer, but that was an eye opener for her, God is working on all of my family and I know my husband is coming home, I live on Victory Road.” (Colorado)

"Charlyne responded to a note that I had sent that I needed a sign to know without a doubt that God wants to heal and restore my marriage. After work, I took a co-workers to pick up her car and and there was a Covenant Transport Truck parked right in front of us. We both praised God over and over and cried because this was just another confirmation of what God is doing and what He wants in my life." (North Carolina)

“I was on my way home to visit my parents for the fourth of July weekend. I was feeling very discouraged. On my way, I saw two Covenant Transport trucks within minutes of each other. I broke out in tears when I saw these trucks. After that moment I felt such a relief that God is listening to prayers from me, friends, and family as we hope for my husband's return home and we pray for his salvation.” (Ohio)

“July 4th weekend, on a long bus ride to Toronto, the Lord gave me a sign. I was at the point of giving up my stand after four years. In Northern New York, I glanced out the bus window from a book that I was reading and saw words appearing at my eye level on a Covenant Transport truck. God allowed me to look up just at the right time to see those blessed words. On the ride back home, I saw another Covenant Transport truck stopped at the exact lunch spot rest area where our bus had stopped. The Lord affirmed that standing for my marriage is God's plan.” (Rhode Island)

“I saw a dump truck in front of me with 'Jesus Won’t Dump You' on it. Then the following day, I finally saw a Covenant Transport truck on my way to visit an aunt with terminal cancer. On the drive back, I saw another one beside me on the freeway. What a wonderful feeling to share the excitement of seeing one of those trucks. God is good.” (California)

“I always wondered about the Covenant Transport trucks. It was one of those things that I thought I would never see. I saw one yesterday. My daughter had just come back from youth camp and I gave another girl ride home, I saw the truck. Had I not taken that route I would have never had seen it.” (California)

“I read the stories about Covenant Transport trucks, but had never seen one in our area. I asked the Lord to show me one. I went to visit my Mom in Memphis. My brother missed his exit and we crossed the bridge into Arkansas. When we turned around and started back the other way, there was a Covenant Truck stopped on the middle of the bridge. My mouth just dropped, then I laughed. i told my brother about others testimonies and the trucks. He said that must be why the Lord had him miss the exit.” (Washington)

"A few months ago I was in (husband's) home town to visit his parents, I stopped at the one stoplight in this town and looked to the left and big as a moving billboard sign was a Covenant Transport truck. I started laughing out loud. Now when I am tempted to give up and move on, this memory comes to mind." (Wisconsin)

“God is showing me He is working on my prodigal in Iraq. The only communication we have is email. I told the Lord I wanted to talk to my prodigal. This past Sunday I checked my email before leaving for church and had an email from him, so I answered it. He answered right back. We were online at the same time. That has not happened in many months. I was almost late for church, but, on the way, a Covenant Transport truck passed me. God was telling me once again, that He is at work on our marriage restoration.” (Texas)

“I sent in a testimony that my husband returned home on Memorial Day. My praise report is that he went to church with me yesterday. This is his first time in church in over four years. On our way to church, I saw a Covenant Transport truck, which I rarely see. Praise the Lord.” (Missouri)

“I've had a blessed couple of days. I went with one of my close sisters in Christ to Austin to take an exam and on the way there I spotted the Rejoice Ministries sign off of the 35 freeway between Fort Worth and Austin. All I could do was praise God because I was kind of down that whole morning thinking of my husband and praying for him. Then after I saw the sign for the first time, I saw two Covenant Transport trucks and again I praised the Lord. When I got home my husband was pulling out of my driveway and all I could say was thank you Jesus because I know that He is working.” (Texas)

“In his book 'The Prodigal's Perspective' Bob talks about prodigals testing the waters by coming home for a short while then leaving again. My husband has done this numerous times. Last weekend he invited my to go on a motorcycle trip to New Hampshire. We hit a downpour so bad that we could barely see and the rain was pelting us so hard that it stung. Being from Canada, we do not have Covenant Transport trucks. To my great surprise, through the pelting rain, going in the opposite direction was a Covenant Transport truck! I was shocked and felt comforted. Our God is so attuned and concerned about each of His children that if we take the time to listen, He speaks to us loud and clear. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.” (Canada)

“I was slowly traveling home in the dark in pouring down rain on the interstate and saw a truck in my review mirror. He passed me and low and behold it was a Covenant Transport truck. I believe the Lord did it that way to get my attention, otherwise I may have never noticed. I praised the Lord and thankedz Him all the way home.” (Ohio)

“I went to a company meeting in Arkansas. The eight hour bus ride and three days there were so long and busy. We were all exhausted. As we were traveling home I napped. When I awoke, I was still really exhausted. As our bus passed a truck, I looked up and beside me was a Covenant Transport truck. I got excited and under my breath started praising my Lord and thanking Him for the message He was giving me. God's message to me was that He keeps on working. He is always there, meeting needs and answering prayers.” (Texas)

“I was driving to work this morning in the dark and talking with God. We have these talks every morning, and today I was a bit down. I have prayed that when God was ready to speak to me and tell me (husband) would be home, that I would know without a doubt. As I pulled into the driveway at work, it was dark and drizzling what did I see? A Covenant Transport truck. I took pictures of it and will hang them in my office. I also told the driver of the truck what a blessing they are to standers.” (Texas) (Due to the large number of Covenant Transport testimonies we receive each week, we are able to publish only a few.)

“Last night I felt so discouraged I wanted to give up on my stand. I asked God to give me a sign. I live in Africa and had read praise reports how standers had seen Covenant Transport trucks. I had never before seen one in my country. Today on my way to work, I saw two green Covenant Transport trucks parked on the side of the road. I was shocked and grateful that the Lord has finally given me a sign. I will continue to stand no matter what the circumstances look like.” (Zimbabwe)

“I am standing with the Lord for the healing of my marriage. This past week my husband and I drove up to Jacksonville to move our daughter back home. On the return, my husband drove the U-Haul truck and I drove my car behind him. The Lord confirmed (again) the healing of our marriage when three Covenant Transport trucks passed me as I was following my husband.” (Florida)

"My husband filed for divorce. I prayed about what to do, since I could not afford an attorney and was not eligible for one through legal aid. I called an attorney in that county for a free consultation, knowing that he is a Christian. He called the volunteer lawyers association to which he belongs and asked if he could represent me in spite of a residency issue. I had called every legal aid in both counties myself several times and was told no. I brought Bob's book ‘Your Father Knows Best' and prayed the whole where there, and in the waiting room. I was not sure if I should be consulting a lawyer, but on the way there saw a Covenant Transport Truck and also one on the way home. Although we both have attorneys now, I am confident God will restore our marriage." (New York)

"I work in a nursing facility and had to work on Mother's Day. On the way home from work I say a Covenant Transport truck. I just started smiling and praising God for showing me this sign." (Missouri)

“In Australia, we have no Covenant Transport trucks. I read each week how powerfully God uses trucks to encourage standers, and am more in love with God for it. This week as I drove the streets near my home, a very large semi-trailer was driving towards me. Across the front of it was a sign that simply said 'The Resurrection.' I smiled at the impossibility of that truck being there, but realized that what God did for Christ - and will do with the same power in my marriage - is also seen as impossible by some. I see it as a miracle awaiting it's chosen time. And this week I saw my beautiful husband for the first time in months. The effort that he went to, to see me for a few hours, was amazing. He downplayed my gratefulness, saying that it was completely worth the effort. It is resurrection power at work.” (Australia)
