What is a prodigal? We used the term that the Bible uses in Luke, Chapter 15, to describe a man or woman whose bad choices have affected their family, possibly to the point of separation or divorce. One common trait of all prodigals is feeling that there is no way out of their situation. Bob Steinkamp, co-founder of Rejoice Marriage Ministries, was once a prodigal spouse. God restored the Steinkamp’s marriage two years after their divorce. Bob recently taped a brief word to prodigal spouses. It is our desire that this non-threatening message will cause many prodigals to say, “That’s right where I am!” Bob’s words are more practical than preaching, but can help the prodigal man or woman who is seeking answers.
