"My husband and I been through so many trials with family deaths and his illness, that changed both of us. I became an unhappy and unappreciative wife. My husband left. My relationship with the Lord was suffering. Him leaving was the best thing that ever happened to me. It woke me up. I started praying as a stander. But little did I realize that the Lord was going to reveal all the things in me that needed to change. 1 Peter 3 and Proverbs 31 are Chapters that helped me see the kind of wife I'm supposed to be. I repented and started seeking the Lord to change my heart and my husband's. I had to accept that I could not change my husband, only the Lord can do that. I went to my husband and asked for his forgiveness for all my shortcomings as a wife. I asked him to give me another chance. He is now home." (California)

"After years of separation, my husband returned home the day before Thanksgiving. Our boys and I had hardly heard from him in months and now, suddenly, he is home. I am praising God for this miracle. I am so thankful that God did not give up on my husband and even arranged a divine appointment with a pastor who spoke the truth to him, which was one of my specific prayers for him. I am thankful that God kept me standing and praying for my husband through some very difficult times. I can't look back on anything that I have gone through and say that it was not worth it when I think my husband was lost and now is found. I know that God will continue to be with us as we deal with all the issues that come with our restoration. God is faithful and nothing is impossible for Him." (Washington State)

"Praise the Lord for His goodness, grace and mercy. My husband, children and I spent the holiday together as a family visiting his family in another state. The trip went really well. My husband went to church with us for the first time in a long while. The pastor spoke on marriage, saying when we made our vows it was till death do us part. It was God’s confirmation. After we returned from our trip, my husband said he would be moving home this week. I thank the Lord for His continued faithfulness." (Virginia)

"I give God all the praise. My husband came home on Monday. I give God all the praise. Miracles do happen." (Ohio).

"I stood for my marriage for almost six months. I called a divorce attorney and things were deader than dead. Once I let go and let God, He restored my marriage and now my wife and I have a baby girl. I hope this inspires others to follow the Lord and not to listen to the world. He will fulfill his promise." (Germany/Armed Forces)

"My husband and I just celebrated our 18th Thanksgiving together, including two years ago, when he was not living at home. Praise God. This morning my husband and I were talking about my praying for our daughter. He said I shouldn't worry because my prayers cause things to happen. I praise God that He does work through my prayers and that my family can see God working. I praise God for every holiday and every day that we can be together as a family." (California)

"My husband left home for someone else. He broke it off with her after a month, but even with counseling he said he was finished. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving he told me he made an appointment with another counselor and he wanted us to go together in order to start over. Praise God that I never stopped loving him or believing in our marriage." (State Removed)

"My spouse told me in May 2006 that he wanted his family back. He wanted to come home. I had been standing and praying for my marriage since March 2005 when my husband told me he wanted a divorce. He was getting ready to deploy to Iraq when he told me. He said that he woke up one morning and something told him it was time to go home. I know it was God. That is the only One it could have been. We are doing good. We have our ups and downs, but God is working it out.  Keep standing and praying. God does hear your prayers–and He answers." (North Carolina)

"My husband came home to us for Thanksgiving. Praise Jesus and His Holy Name. Our Lord keeps all His promises." (Pennsylvania)

"The Lord has restored my broken marriage. I thank God for the day he led me through the Internet to Rejoice Ministries. Their ministry has been a great help to me during my stand for my marriage. The Lord has been good to me in so many ways. My husband has come back to the Lord through the power of prayer. I prayed every day and every night for the Lord to move over my husband's life, and I pray that every stander will never give up. The battle may seem long and hard, but in the end you will realize, as I did, that all you are going through right now will strengthen your relationship with the Lord and restore all that is broken in your life. God heals hurting marriages." (Florida)

"I spoke with Charlyne on the phone in 2003 after my husband left home. Charlyne spent time with me and taught me about 'free will'  and how to stand. My husband finally returned home on Good Friday, 2004. My son and I were thrilled at what the Lord had done."  (Georgia)

"After 22 years of marriage, my spouse left home. God became my Counselor, Deliverer, Comforter, and strong tower. The more I read His Word, the anguish and tears were replaced with peace and contentment as God continued to refine me. After four years, God brought my spouse home physically, but not completely in his heart. While my spouse was gone, Thanksgiving was spent in different homes of friends and family. This year, my spouse and I are hosting the family for Thanksgiving. It is such a blessing to witness the excitement of our young adult children as they contribute to the preparation. here again. Thanks be to God for our family once again, celebrating Thanksgiving together. I can't describe how much your ministry has kept me encouraged and in tune to God's Will."  (North Carolina)

"After nearly two years of separation, my husband came home in 2003. He did not come home a changed man. I continued to stand and believe that with God, all things are possible. It wasn't until the Holy Spirit really got hold of him one summer afternoon in 2005 that things began to change. I began to really see answers to prayers. In September, 2006 my husband asked the court to void the divorce dissolution. It was granted. It was only the second one known to happen in this State. Praise God from whom all blessing flow."  (Washington State)

"My husband has been home since May. Although we sometimes struggle with issues, I give it to God. I give him all the praise. My husband realizes how much he was deceived. I am just so happy that my family is together again." (Florida)

"As soon as I was able to let go and fully let God, my marriage was restored, thanks to the Lord. It all happened just like you said it would. God's time is perfect. My husband left the other woman suddenly, checked into the hospital to detox for alcoholism and came home broken and in need of love, first to God then to a praying, standing wife and our children. No questions asked. Zipping my lips, as you say, is what is making this all a joyful restoration. It is work in progress. He is now to God's glory the lead vocalist for our church choir. Watching him praise God with tearful eyes is what fills the holes that the Enemy tried to bore in me. Praise the Lord. What a mighty God we serve. I hope I can encourage every stander to never, never lose heart. Continue to hold on because just like Charlyne and Bob said, it was all worth what we have now. Thank you for being used by God to keep people like us shining the light for our lost prodigals to find their way home." (New York)

"My husband came home after a brief separation due to his unfaithfulness. The first two years were very tough, but I kept reading God' words and praying for my family. My husband now brags about me to many people, his relatives and friends saying "he is the luckiest man and is very happy that (my name) is his wife." He also said that my words and actions toward others show God. With God, I could do this. I am still praying for my husband to become a true man and father of God for our sons. I am also praying our sons to find Jesus is their guide in their lives. I feel so peaceful in my heart and can face anything without fear now. Thank you. I pray all the broken families will be restored for children's sake."  (California)

"My husband told me he did not love me any more, was in love with someone else, and moved out last year. If I had not come across this website in my search for answers, I would have let the enemy make me believe that my husband was better off without me, and that I deserve to be deserted. Instead, I stood and trusted God for restoration. Soon, my husband told me that he made a mistake, and was not in love with the other girl, but that he still did not have hope for our restoration. I kept on standing, and shared everything with him that the Lord revealed to me. God started working in both of us, and at the end of February, he moved back. We have felt like newlyweds ever since. I praise God, because this was all Him. Nothing we tried, seemed to work. We are growing closer every day." (Arizona)

"Things keep improving in my marriage every week. My husband is home and is considering taking our house off the market. God is awesome."  (Texas)

My husband has been home for two months. I remember reading that Charlyne didn't trust Bob when he returned for a while, but she trusted the Lord. I think of that a lot. I really started struggling again yesterday and today, and cried to the Lord for forgiveness, for peace, to show me what He's saying to me and how He wants me to respond, to help me be so sensitive to the leading of the Spirit, and to keep me in His will. Right in the middle of telling God once again that I just don't know if I can go on, a Covenant Transport truck passed me by. I knew the Lord was telling me, once again, that He will never break His Covenant with me to restore my marriage completely." (Texas)

"My husband has returned home six months ago after six years away.  He said that he saw the writing on the wall--just when I was about to give up. He is now going to church with us. It just amazes me that God freed my husband from what held him captive all these years practically overnight. I would have given up had it not been for your encouraging and sometimes eye opening messages." (Florida)

My husband came home seven months ago. He was in a non-covenant relationship. God revealed to me that He would force him home. That’s just what happened when the other woman threw him out. God is still working on healing our marriage, but He has promised me that my husband is home to stay. I am believing that God will heal and make this marriage better that I can imagine. God does heal hurting marriages. I praise and thank him for all He has done, and is still doing." (California)

My husband committed adultery two years ago and I thought we were finished. But God saw potential in my husband. I decided to stay with him and am I glad I stayed to see all the wonderful miracles God did in my marriage. He saved my husband from hell, turned our whole family completely around, and now we are the new Children's Pastors at our church. Praise God. (Texas)

"My husband has been home for a few months now. Praise the Lord. I cannot tell you the date he arrived home. It was such a gradual process. I know that it will take a very long time for our marriage to be what God wants it to be. But I know who my Redeemer is. I am now visiting my parents while my husband stayed at home. I trust my Lord to keep us safe from the Enemy's grip while we are separated by miles once again." (Wisconsin)

"Praise God, my husband returned home after being gone for three months. I felt like giving up at first, but the more I started reading God's Word I knew his promises. I went through some ups and downs, but I learned to trust and depend in the Lord. I started speaking positive about my husband and my marriage. Know that God's Word is true. If He did it for me, He'll do it for you."  (North Carolina)
