"I would like to thank the Lord for all He has done for me. There is increased communication between my husband with deep sharing from His heart to mine, though He is still in the far country, He has confessed that He is very unhappy. The Lord also miraculously touched my car of a mechanical problem that had not been able to be fixed for a year. After crying out to the Lord in prayer the condition totally disappeared." (Tanzania)

"I loved reading your suggestion to start journaling. I have done this and I can't tell you how much it has helped me to go back and see the way God has worked. Even though the circumstances don't look good right now, I can see how God has been with me and how much he has already done. Many times as I would write my thoughts, hurts and prayers the Holy Spirit would come and begin to give me direction to write words of encouragement that the Father wanted me to hear. It is incredible. And just between me and the Lord. Thanks for sharing this wonderful tool for hearing from God and getting thru one day at a time during our stand." (Indiana)

"I live in the northeast and drove south for the holidays. At church on New Year's Eve I asked God to send me confirmation of His will for my life so I would not mistake His intentions. On my way home yesterday I saw a Rejoice Marriage Ministries billboard on Route 81 in Pennsylvania. Our God is so good to give me His answer for His will for my life. I will wait forever for His time." (Massachusetts) Read about Rejoice Billboards from - http://rejoiceministries.org/billboards.html

"I attended the wedding of my friend's daughter. For the first time at a wedding, I heard a pastor speak about marriage being a covenant, not a contract to be broken at will. He talked about how the promises made today were not only promises to each other, but promises to God. Instead of the usual wedding verses, he quoted from Ephesians 5:21-28 about husbands loving their wives as Christ loves the church and about wives submitting to their husbands. Toward the end he quoted Malachi 2:16, 'I hate divorce.' He said God can't make it any clearer than that. How refreshing and confirming for me to hear a pastor stand up for the sanctity of marriage and the covenant made before God." (Nebraska)

"In a few days, we will have our final divorce hearing. I do not know what will happen, but I am thankful for my relationship with the Lord. He has truly become the husband and father that I need. He has taught me how to surrender and keep surrendering. When this began, I would have owed my husband thousands of dollars in community property. Now, because of the decline in property values, I owe nothing and will not lose my home. The Lord has taken that burden away." (California)

"Your words from the Lord this last week about power in the blood really struck me. I cannot wait for the day my prodigal and I stand before the Almighty Lord and let him splash us with His atoning Blood from the cross; as we seek Him and are found obedient and faithful. Until then I kneel before a compassionate, all knowing Savior that tells me nothing is too difficult for Him, waiting at His altar and standing in the power of His Blood." (Arizona)

"A few months ago I was in (husband's) home town to visit his parents, I stopped at the one stoplight in this town and looked to the left and big as a moving billboard sign was a Covenant Transport truck. I started laughing out loud. Now when I am tempted to give up and move on, this memory comes to mind." (Wisconsin)

"My wife unexpectedly invited me to visit her. I went a couple of days before Christmas. Before I get to her place, I saw a Covenant Transport Truck. We had a nice visit and it was great to see her again. After I left her place I saw another Covenant Transport Truck. Praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm continuing to walk in faith for the healing of my marriage." (California)

"I began fasting and praying as the final divorce hearing was approaching. I prayed back God's Word to Him, praising Him that He could stop the divorce from going through. The day arrived and my husband came in, but the judge refused to grant the divorce. He told my husband to make contact with me. Surely even 'the King's heart is in the hand of The Lord; and He turneth it whithersoever He will.'" (United Kingdom)

“I had to go to a co-worker's house. I looked across the street and saw my husband's truck and the other woman’s car. I realized it was Satan trying to discourage me. At first I started crying because I was hurt at what I had witnessed. Then my tears suddenly stopped and I was filled with tremendous joy for the first time in a long time, because God showed me He is real and working in my circumstances.” (Illinois)

"My husband served me with divorce papers without warning. God led me to Rejoice Marriage Ministries. This is the most difficult journey of my life, but it has also been the most blessed time in my Christian life. God is so good and I am standing on His promises for a restored marriage. God has shown me that I have not been the wife I need to be. The biggest lesson I have learned is "zip my lips." How I wish I had learned that long before now. Praise God, I know He will keep His promises." (Arizona)

"I just wanted to touch base to let you know that my husband has been home for several years. God is a mighty good God. Thanks for your ministry and your faithfulness. Our son is now fourteen years old and while he was only seven when his dad left, his faith was enhanced in our stand for the Lord." (Georgia)

"I went to my final hearing this week and answered a series of questions from my attorney, then was asked if I would like to address the court. I said I do not want to divorce my husband and do not feel our marriage is irretrievable broken. The judge said he could not grant a divorce. Praise God, I am still married." (Florida)

“My sister-in-law passed away Friday night and is with the Lord. God gave us a miracle when I was up there. She came off of all machines and her kidneys started to function. She was eating and they were starting rehab. I prayed with her and she was anointed and receive holy communion every day. I spoke with my husband and he told me how sorry he is for hurting me. My husband and I have a deep spiritual bond that God has given us. We may be separated physically, but spiritually we are connected. I now know that my husband feels this as the Holy Spirit is working on him and convicting him of his faults.” (Florida)

“I awoke and started praying to God thanking Him for the day. God being to speak to me in my spirit, He said 'I heard your prayers. You will go back home.' I got to Sunday School late, but wanted to put some money into to the offering. As I begin walking to the front of the church, my pastor said to the congregation, ‘...prayers are being answered.' (confirmation). My wife and I don't talk to each other, but God is working behind the curtain.” (Illinois)

"Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." Psalm 29:2

"Thank you all for your prayers. God healed me from stomach acidity and continuous terrible headaches. May God bless you." (Zimbabwe)

"God continues to display His steadfast love and faithfulness to me. I had become frustrated with trying to keep up our home. Last night, I cried out to God. I finally remembered to give it to God. This morning I found that God had indeed moved on someone's heart to fix this thing for me. It had been less than 12 hours since I had literally cried to Him. Thank You, Father." (Florida)

"My son and I were traveling on the Interstate and saw a Covenant Transport truck. Directly behind the Covenant truck was a semi with canvas tarp on it which was printed with 'Jesus Christ still cares.' My son and I looked at each other and started to laugh. I have told him the significance of the Covenant trucks but I think he understood the bigger picture today." (Wisconsin)  Read about what Covenant Transport trucks mean to some standers - http://rejoiceministries.org/covenant_transport.php

“I have been standing for my marriage for three years. We lived separate lives even though we lived in the same house. To God be the glory, I noticed that since April, hubby is home more, we even laugh and talk together. I believe that God has definitely changed my hubby's heart. I had to do a lot of work on myself and the toughest one was loving my husband despite it all. God gave me the grace to do that and not to look on the present circumstances. We still have a long way to go; but God has really shown.” (United Kingdom)

"Today was my anniversary. I asked God to put me on my husband's heart, and for him to contact me. He sent me a lovely email saying that I was on his heart and signed it with love and forever. I am certain God is moving even when I cannot see anything at all." (Florida)

"I want to praise the Lord for the praise report I know I will have some day. I know the Lord will open my husband's eyes and his ears and he will come home to his family. While I am waiting, the Lord is changing me. I am a different person than I used to be. The Lord has showed me that trying to find happiness in this world does not work. The only way to find happiness is in doing the will of God and the will of God is telling me to stand for my marriage." (Michigan)

"Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea; hear me and answer me. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught at the voice of the enemy...But I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice." Psalm 55:1-3,16-17

"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18: 18-20

"I would like to thank God for allowing our family to be together again for Christmas morning. My husband divorced me a year ago, but still came over to my house to celebrate Christmas with us. We shared a few laughs, opened our gifts (this is the first year that we gave our daughters gifts from us together) and he gave me a hug when he left. Still believe that with God all things are possible. I will continue to trust for the restoration of my marriage and healing for my family. Thank you Charlyne and Bob for your ongoing words of support and encouragement." (Massachusetts)

"Today I felt sad and discouraged and cried unto God. Then I read your devotional, 'Our God is Able' and I immediately remembered the prophesy that if God has changed us into His children then He is able to change other people(my spouse). Thank you for being obedient to God and for teaching us to stand for our marriage." (Norway)

"My wife and I recently went to a hearing. When the proceedings began the judge asked the lawyers why this divorce could not be resolved that day. We were scheduled to come back in November. I was so anxious regarding the fact that we would have to come back. It was going to be one of those knock down drag out divorces. But God did answer our prayers. The divorce was quickly settled and over. Praise God! There was no name calling or anything like that. I continue to pray though that our marriage would be healed and that my wife would turn around and come home." (New Mexico)

"For the first time in for years, my husband called our daughter on her birthday, literally, out of the blue. God is working even when we think He has forgotten us." (Mississippi)

“My son got married and my wife was there. That made me feel very good. I am totally thankful to the Lord that my son invited her, and she showed up. I know that He is at work on my wife's hardened heart.” (Louisiana)

"I have been praying for God to heal both myself and my husband and to restore this marriage. Yesterday I went to pick up my mail at the house. My husband asked me to stay for dinner. God does answer prayer and I know we are on our way to being restored." (Florida)

“I just read today's Charlyne Cares (by Bob). The Lord worked something like that out in my life. It wasn't about money but anger, bitterness and unforgiveness that was inside of me. My sister and I have not gotten along. Our relationship is very strained. This week God took over. Me shutting down when things around me happened that I didn't like resulted in allowing anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness to come in. My sister was the hardest obstacle I had to overcome. I feel that the Lord is preparing me for when my husband comes home. I no longer can look the other way when things do not line up with the Word of God. I also want to praise the Lord for giving me the opportunity to write an article for my church newspaper on the prayer group God started for woman who are believing His promise to restore their marriage.” (New York)

"My divorce was final a month ago. Last year we made plans to go to Florida for spring break and my prodigal went with us to help drive. He stayed with some friends at night, but was with us during the day. Today he called. He wants to start working as friends. He said he would cancel our property settlement agreement for now. Praise God for working on my husband’s heart." (Kentucky)

"On Valentine's Day, I sent an email card to my husband telling him that I will never give up on him. The Charlyne Cares for the day after Valentines was entitled 'Never Give Up on Your Spouse." What confirmation and what assurance for me to know that I am doing what God has purposed in my life for this season." (Maryland)

"May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests." Psalm 20:4-5

"Praise God. My husband and I have been separated for a few weeks and God is changing my husband’s heart. He is becoming more affectionate and even loving towards me in our communication. I know with all of my heart that God is healing, restoring and renewing our marriage and our family. Thank You, Jesus." (Colorado)

"Praise God, in a few days, my husband is flying half way around the world to come visit. This is a miracle as we are divorced and I moved to Australia. My husband wasn't even talking to me before that. May the Lord bless the time that my husband is here." (Australia)

"I attended a funeral yesterday. This man was divorced and remarried and although the first wife was handled delicately, it was a painful reminder of why I am standing. I do not want my children to have to go through their father's funeral with the other woman as the focus. Praise God for strength to stand for the past years and for these godly reminders." (Colorado)

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.” Ephesians 1:18-19

“Thanks be to God, my husband phoned me today , because he remembered that it was our wedding anniversary. I had started the day feeling sad, rejected and alone, but God turned this around, and the rest of the day was filled with hope, smiles and joy. I know that God will bring my husband home in his perfect timing.” (New York)

"Since my prodigal went back overseas, I have been down. My prayer life and Bible studies suffered because of it. God reminded me of the changes I saw in my prodigal while here, but I just couldn't shake the heaviness. An email came from my prodigal telling me how good it was to have a friend like me. Today he sends me an email saying that he has increased my support because he felt like I needed it. God is showing me He hasn't given up and that I shouldn't either. Though I failed God and my prodigal during this time, God still works because He knows my heart. He is so good even when we fail Him." (Texas)

"Today we went to court. First, the bailiff tried six times to get the security door unlocked to let us in. Then there was a possible conflict of interest, and now the judge is holding out on making a decision. I feel these are more roadblocks put forth by God to show my wife what He has planned for she and I." (South Carolina)

"My wife and I have been separated for many months and have not spoken except business email. I have been in prayer every day, including a men's prayer team every morning, praying the Lord would soften my wife’s heart. I asked God to allow my wife to say happy birthday to me. The Lord answered my prayer as I got up this morning to an email from my wife wishing me a happy birthday. I can see God is working in both our lives." (Idaho)

i"My prodigal was at our house coloring Easter eggs with our daughter and I was able to give him his Bible that he asked for a couple of days before. I was wondering what Bible to give him and one of my prodigal’s Bibles with old notes appeared. I didn’t look for it, but He put it in my path and now it is in my husband’s hands. God is so good." (California)

"This past weekend I did not have money for groceries. I had to stretch out the food we had to include my children's lunches for the week. I asked God to provide for me. When I came home from work my prodigal was there. On my dresser mirror was grocery money. Our God cares." (Georgia)

“Thirty of my family members were invited to a family wedding out of country. I was excluded. I asked the Lord to turn this situation around. He did. The couple broke up and the wedding was off. All of the guests cancelled their trip except for my husband and his parents. Circumstances came up and guess who that left? Yours truly. I didn't stop to pray about it or consult any of my friends. I remembered Charlyne's example of when Bob asked her out for lunch and she didn't hesitate. Naturally, I jumped at the chance. Praise the Lord. I have just returned from a wonderful vacation with my husband and his parents. We are taking steps toward reconciliation. God is doing exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think. He is faithful.” (Canada)

"God is good! I received a call from my principal yesterday saying she might have a job for me. This morning she left a message offering me a job in my old school. I went to lunch with my Mom to celebrate and when I returned there was another job offer on the machine. Two jobs in one day. It's raining blessings today! Please pray for wisdom on which job to take. My heart is in teaching but the other job may be more money. Prayer is the only answer. Thank heavens I'm a child of God." (Oklahoma)

"My husband told me he loved me. I have been praying to hear those words. I thank the Lord for His divine favor in our relationship." (New Jersey)

“It's been over a year since my husband left, but God is at work. My husband and I met with our Pastor and his wife. Just the fact that he agreed to meet with them is totally of God. Although my husband voiced that he still didn't want to work on our marriage, he did agree to meet regularly with our Pastor. I know that once my husband's relationship with the Lord is restored, so will our marriage be restored also. Thank you so much for all of your supporting words of encouragement. All Praise be to God.” (Hawaii)

"God has used rainbows twice during critical points in my stand to confirm to me His promise of marriage restoration. Once in the sky when my husband came home on a false start. Another time my daughter drew a picture of a rainbow as I was hiding in my prayer closet and praying for a new confirmation. This last week I had a chance to tell my husband that I was still standing and praying for his return. Immediately after, I receive the 'Covenant of the Rainbow' edition of Charlyne Cares."
