"I just finished reading 'Be Healed' yesterday while sitting on my patio. Later in the day I returned from a walk and there beside the patio was a white dove, confirming for me what Bob mentioned in the epilogue about the Holy Spirit descending into our circumstances. How great is our Father's love! I believe my marriage will be restored and this was a sign of encouragement from God. I praise His name!" (Ohio)

"Praise be to God and His wonderful miracles. My husband texted me Happy New Year which he had stopped doing a couple of years ago and he invited me to spend New Year's day with him and his family. I had a blessed day and give God the praise." (United Kingdom)

"I thank the Lord for false starts, tender words and even moments to come in contact with the other person. My husband has been attending church. Praise the Lord that my husband is seeking Him." (California)

"The judge dismissed the case this morning. I knew God was going to prevail and I knew that the case was going to be dismissed. I asked my attorney to tell the judge that I did not want this divorce. My husband's attorney told the judge that I was not interested in a divorce under any circumstances. God used the other side to convey my message for me." (Missouri)

"God is good. My husband came home yesterday and desires to restore our covenant relationship. I praise God for reaching down and touching him, and that God gave me the strength to endure during these hard times." (New York)

"I was the prodigal just one year ago when my husband gave me a few of your messages he had printed off his computer. At the time I read them, cried a little and put them away. Unfortunately my husband gave up his stand, but shortly after, God yanked a knot in me. I repented with Godly sorrow and soon found those messages tucked away. I needed them because my husband had become the prodigal. I am happy to report that my husband is home and I am continuing to stand for his return to his salvation and for our marriage to be restored better than ever before. Sunday, God gave me a beautiful gift. My husband and I, along with our three children and his parents, attended our church together for the first time in a long time. My husband even expressed that he had a great day. God has a terrific plan in store for my family." (Illinois)

"I give testimony that God works even when I can't see it and praise Him for what He has planned for our family. We have been separated for years. My husband has accepted a new job and made the decision that we all will go there--as a family. I praise God for His timing, and that by His strength and the prayers of many, I didn't give up my stand. Psalm 62:5 "My soul, wait though only on God; for my expectation is from Him." (Virginia)

"Once again I am awed at God's goodness. Bob's devotional about home answered my silent and questioning prayer from a few days ago. Last night I finally went to the evening prayer meeting at church and was blessed beyond measure, just worshiping our Lord." (New Zealand)

"My wife left abruptly. With all hope lost, I finally gave it all to the Lord. My stand has been a true test of my faithfulness and God has stood true to His promises. My wife has delayed the divorce proceedings. She has spent time with me lately, allowing me to show her what God has done in my life and what His promises are. God is always faithful." (Georgia)

"I am amazed at how the Lord speaks to my spirit through your daily devotional. It is encouraging, even more when my stand has taken long. Thank you very much, Bob and Charlyne. Many times, when I am in the middle of my daily devotional, the Lord uses you to confirm His promises for me, my spouse and my children." (Guatemala)

"After the New Year's Eve conference call I cried out to my Lord for confirmation for His will as it relates to my stand. After weeks of silence my prodigal called New Year's Day, asking if he could stop by for a visit. The conversation was light, as he was leaving he made a couple of comments that led me to believe he felt some shame and was a bit discouraged. I believe it was God's way of showing me that my covenant spouse is struggling and he felt the need to see me. God does answer our prayers when His timing is right. Our God is awesome." (Florida)

"We've been separated and I have been standing for months. My husband asked me to send him our tax items so he can prepare our taxes, praise the Lord as married. I sent them in a box filled with Valentine hearts and a few gifts. He thanked me for these and sent me a couple nice email. This is one of the first signs he may be willing to communicate. He also sent me chocolates in the mail. I know the Lord is speaking to him and I am so grateful." (Wisconsin)

"God works in such amazing ways. My husband filed for divorce in a court out of our township. On the hearing date our case was dismissed for being out of the court's jurisdiction. He had to go back to our town court and file. Praise our mighty Lord." (Saudi Arabia)

"Early on Mother's Day morning I received a call from my husband, telling me he loved me and wishing me a happy Mother's day. This was better than a dozen roses. I give thanks to God and I will continue to pray for my husband." (Pennsylvania)

"My unbelieving husband came to church today to pick up our son. He said he did not want to go inside the church. The Lord worked mightly and my spouse walked in the church and stayed for two worship songs. When I walked them out someone came up to us and asked if he was my husband. Before I could reply my husband already said yes. Thank You, Lord for showing me, my husband still thinks about me as his wife." (Netherlands)

I kept wondering why others are receiving signs. I asked God to forgive my selfishness, but would love some sign that I'm following Him by standing. My prodigal called today, wanting to borrow money/ Remembering unconditional love, I agreed. On the way to meet him, I passed a Covenant Transport truck. I was praying all the way there. I know God is changing me, and now I know He's working on my prodigal. I am called by God to stand. I got to tell my prodigal how much he's loved and he's welcome home at any time. In God's perfect timing, I know my prodigal will come home. God is so good. He truly is always there for us. (Indiana)  You can read about what these trucks mean to some standers by visiting - https://rejoiceministries.org/covenant_transport.php

"I want to praise the Lord for your daily words of encouragement. Thank you for being obedient to the Lord and always directing us to the Word of God. I found myself being guided by man's well meaning voice and not being sensitive to what the Holy Spirit was saying. Through your ministry you lead me to find the scriptures myself as to what the Lord is speaking to me. I do not feel condemned when I don't follow the "right" principle. It's not by might, nor power, but His Holy Spirit that will bring my covenant mate home." (North Carolina)

"Everything God has told me is coming to pass. My husband moved away when he divorced me, but he has moved back to this area and he is no longer married to the other woman. God is awesome." (Indiana)

"The Lord provided a job in my field after financial struggles. This is an answer to years of prayer. During this time, I earned a Bachelors degree and have almost completed my Masters degree. I knew I needed to become financially stable so I could take care of my wife. Thank you Lord for Your loving kindness." (Arizona)

"I want to praise the Lord for His goodness, His power and His will. I was lost in financial concern and God provided an answer. My husband found out that he gets his full disability, which will provide income where it was desperately needed." (Ohio)

"This morning at church our pastor spoke about satan's desire to destroy marriages. He did a demonstration with two bricks that had been joined by mortar and explained that God has joined us together. He then told how two people cannot just separate after marriage, and in an attempt to separate the bricks he hit them in the middle with a hammer breaking both bricks into several pieces. He said that is what happens in divorce, both people are broken and wounded. I pray that this message affected marriages and prodigals about the sanctity of marriage." (Maryland)

"Since receiving your daily emails and standing for my marriage, one of my pastors made a comment regarding my stand. Yesterday, he told me what an inspiration I am to him because of the way I am standing. Even though there may have been times when I may have not been nice toward my prodigal, overall, I have done well and have seen God's blessings. To hear the pastor tell me what an inspiration I am, took me by surprise. I hope others are an inspiration in their church as well." (Arizona)

"I got a Mother's Day card from my ex-husband. He said that he didn't deserve my love and understanding so he only asked for my forgiveness and prayers. He also said that he was sorry for the things he had done. He asked if it could be fixed. I am so thankful for the way God is moving in his heart." (Texas)

"Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth." Daniel 9:13

“I have been standing for years with my husband still operating from home. On our wedding anniversary, he had heart palpitations late at night. We called an ambulance and he was hospitalized for two days. I am off this week so have been able to spend more time with him for which he is amazed. He keeps telling whoever will listen that he nearly died on our wedding anniversary. This is God working as he has never hinted he even remembers our wedding day. I am praising God for this glimmer of hope.” (England)

“Early October God woke me up from a deep sleep and told me to get ready, my husband was coming home. I realized that it was my heart God was changing. I told my husband what God had promised me and since he was living with his new girlfriend, he became very angry. He accused me of harming our daughter by making her think her Dad was coming home. I was ready for a long stand. I had on my full armor of God and was ready to fight Satan's attacks against my family. My battle lasted one month. My husband came over on Thanksgiving Day so that he could spend a few hours with our daughter, and never went back. We were married one week later. This shocked family, friends and even me. God bless you and your ministry.” (Texas)

"Several weeks ago, by the Lord's prompting, I had my marriage dissolution dismissed. When my husband first found out, he sounded a little irritated but I could hear the relief in his voice. Although he is still adamant that he does not want to reconcile, my husband flew up to spend last weekend with our children and myself. Not only are we still married but my husband has not said a word about it in the last three weeks. I praise God for this miracle." (Washington)

"My sister encouraged me to go to a quiet place to pray. I went to a bluff overlooking the ocean, the place of my first kiss with my husband. I prayed and read but felt dry. I asked God for a word and dozed off. I happened to glance to the right and there was a public notice about work being done in the area. The three words that stood out were ‘Restoration in Progress.’ I couldn't believe my eyes. Our God is faithful in the midst of our seeing no evidence He is at work in the restoration." (California)

"I have been praying for God to change my husband’s heart, but He changed mine. I was so blinded by satan that I couldn’t see my own faults. The day God changes all that in me I met my husband to switch the kids in a fast food parking lot and he asked if we could all go in and eat. We sat for 20 minutes with the kids like the family we once were and will be again. God showed me I am on the right track and He even gave me the biggest rainbow I have ever seen on the drive to prove it. I am now praying that God changes my heart so I am ready when my husband comes home." (Washington)

"Our divorce trial was to start yesterday. Instead, there was confirmation of my husband's message that he was withdrawing his divorce petition. He still has no desire to reconcile, though. According to our local laws, we would have to be separated for about four and a half more years for him to be granted a divorce without my consent. I used to live in fear of him filing for divorce but I learned to trust God. He is worthy of all praise." (Trinidad and Tobago)

"Yesterday both my prodigal and I pulled into a fast food place at the same time from opposite directions. We ended up having lunch together. I followed Charlyne’s 'Zip my Lips' and I listened to him. Only God could have orchestrated that, showing me that He is working on our marriage. I had not seen nor spoken with my prodigal in a year. (I had on my RMM pin.)" (Minnesota)

"I have not had contact with my sons-in-law for some time. I asked the Lord for a sign that both of my daughters' marriages would be restored. I opened up my email and found an electronic airline ticket that was booked by my son-in-law. The airline had my email listed under my son-in-law's name from years back. The electronic ticket was sent to me by mistake. I was able to see that my son-in-law is flying back to our home city." (State removed due to nature of testimony.)

"I have been struggling in my stand. I read a 'Charlyne Cares' testimony about a woman asking God to send her a sign. I said, 'God, I want a sign. Show me my marriage will be saved.' Today I got my sign. I found a bracelet my husband gave me that I lost months ago. I was so distraught when I lost it. Now I know God has spoken to me. Thank You, God." (Pennsylvania)

"I am a stander. Although it's been difficult God keeps showing me it is the right thing to do. My brother was also a stander. Sunday his wife asked him to move in with her. We give God all the honor and the glory." (California)

“Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.” Psalm 25:4-6

"We have been separated for years and my prodigal has filed for divorce twice. The Lord has brought me through both times without a divorce being finalized, due to my prodigal never following through with the process. Thank You Jesus." (Arizona)

"I have stood for the restoration of my marriage for nine years. If it had not been for God's grace and mercy, I would have quit a very long time ago, especially since over two years my husband has been in a non-covenant marriage. He announced to me two weeks ago, that he has left the other woman and is planning to file for a divorce. He wants to come home and for us to be re-married. Can I say it is finally over? No, it is only the beginning. Each time I wanted to give in, the Lord would remind me that He was in control and that it is He that fulfills His purpose for my life. Please continue to lift us up." (Texas)

"For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross." Colossians 1:19-20

"Yesterday my husband told me that he was moving on with his life and that he had someone else. God does answer prayer. The next day my husband texted me a beautiful Happy Mother's Day statement and told me that he would have a gift for me. I believe God to restore my marriage." (Florida)

“July 4th weekend, on a long bus ride to Toronto, the Lord gave me a sign. I was at the point of giving up my stand after four years. In Northern New York, I glanced out the bus window from a book that I was reading and saw words appearing at my eye level on a Covenant Transport truck. God allowed me to look up just at the right time to see those blessed words. On the ride back home, I saw another Covenant Transport truck stopped at the exact lunch spot rest area where our bus had stopped. The Lord affirmed that standing for my marriage is God's plan.” (Rhode Island)

“Praise be to God. My husband and I had coffee and a blessed afternoon together. I told him to move back and we will get another larger apartment. He told me its not that far fetched. God is moving mountains. My husband asked me why I would take him back I told him love covers a multitude of sin and that God forgives me daily how could I not forgive him. Thank you Jesus for the miracles You tell me are coming.” (California)

"Praise God for His faithfulness. After standing for my marriage, God restored it and brought my husband home last year. The pain of our marriage trial has been covered over and is being blessed through our obedience to doing it God's way." (New Hampshire)

"My prodigal returned this past October and we're as happy as when we first married. The biggest change has been the practice of zipping my lips." (Georgia)

"It's been over a year since my husband has returned home. I thought it would be so easy. Now I realize that He is still working it all out. My husband is still working through some issues but has come a long way. We are now attending a small group at church. With God, all is possible. Continue to do God's work you have kept me going on many bad days." (Florida)

"The last few days have been a time that normally I would have fallen to pieces and been sick in body due to events such as receiving divorce papers. Today is my birthday and I can see God all around me, and inside me. I can still even see him in some of the things my spouse is doing. He wants to keep in touch with me. I said you are always welcome to call any time, because I love you and there is nothing that you can do to change that. He was touched. Today Charlyne wrote about loving your spouse unconditionally and God reminded me that I had let Him guide me as I talked with my husband." (Indiana)

“I am seeing more signs of restoration lately. I relocated as I believe I was directed by the Lord, to the city my husband lived in. Everything was new and I only knew people at the church I went to Even that turned out to be divine intervention as the Pastor is also a stander. Everyone in the small congregation prays for marriages every week. I was led to a great job and I witnessed so many incidences of God's provisions for me. Recently my husband has started to call more. I had not even seen him for years. He came over yesterday. I see that he is testing the water as we have heard from the Steinkamps. I am so grateful that I had some knowledge on how restoration often proceeds. I have been encouraged and more aware of how our Father receives the prodigal. I want to be a good example of the Father's love. God is faithful.” (Ohio)

"'Fireproof' was an amazing movie. I have seen it three times. It was incredible and significantly changed they way I looked at my marital situation. I gained a better understanding of what God means by the word love." (Pennsylvania)

"As I stand for my marriage in Iraq, I've prayed for a faith builder. My wife informed me that she had been in a roll over accident that destroyed her truck, yet she walked away. My wife lost her job, but the Lord provided another. I know our Lord is at work, not only in my life, but in the lives of those I love. I praise God for his security and the protection He offers." (Iraq)

"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Romans 12:11-12
