"I was at church on a Thursday. The Lord was really moving after service and we ended up worshiping and dancing before the Lord. I felt an unction to go outside and scream, 'Honey come home now.' That night when the new Charlyne Cares came it was titled 'Honey come home now.' I was so excited because I had been obedient to what God had asked me to do." (California)

"My husband and I are on speaking terms now as we wait for the court date for our divorce to be finalized. To God be the glory." (Grand Cayman)

"I thank God for always answering my prayers. Once again, my Lord rescued me and helped me to pay the bills. Thank You, Lord, for always showing Your love and mercy to a sinner like me." (New York)

"The Lord laid on my heart to post a sign for my prodigal. I was sure the Lord wanted me to do this. I called the sign company and they offered me a rate cheaper than our usual dinner out on Valentine’s Day. The sign went up yesterday. It reads '(name) Happy Valentine’s Week. We Love You And Miss You.' All Praise goes to God." (Florida)

“I have been cynical of standers' sightings of Covenant Transport trucks and their interpretation as a sign from God regarding their marriage. Yesterday was my turn. I was on my way home from the gym and stopped to buy yogurt. I finished the yogurt and exited the car to dispose of the trash. As I walked to the bin, there was a Covenant Transport truck gliding by. The road runs through a built-up neighborhood and is not frequented by big rigs. As I pulled out of the driveway of the restaurant, I saw a license plate that bore my husband's and my initials. Coincidence or is it a gentle reminder from God that marriage is a covenant that is not to be taken lightly or broken even when the other party defaults?” (New Jersey)

“Praise the Lord my wife called me on New Year’s day asking for me to meet with her. She was wanting to question me about my wearing my wedding ring. She desired for me to give it to her and I did. I also gave her the Bible from her graduation and she seemed to appreciate it. God is so faithful. I told her that all I have belongs to her and that I would love her forever and that she is my one and only. I also said that me giving the ring to her did not change any of what the Lord told me to stand for and that He would heal the hurts from the past and restore all that the devil has stolen. I told her that I loved her and wanted God's best for her and our children.” (Oklahoma)

“The Lord has blocked the enemy's plans time and time again. My prodigal has been trying to sell our home for a year. We had a prospective buyer, but the Lord had told me the house wouldn't sell until the motive was right. I cried out to the Lord and was given great peace that all was in His control. I wrote in my journal that the Lord had given me great peace about the situation. Two hours after writing this and going to sleep I awoke to the smell of smoke. Our home was on fire. The Lord had His angels around me and my family, I woke up everyone in our home and even the pets escaped unharmed. We have so much damage to our home that it can't be sold until repaired and cleaned. The enemy's plans were thwarted again. God's ways are not our way. God provided us with a fully furnished home the next day, right across the street from my prayer partner. He is awesome.” (Pennsylvania)

"My husband left years ago and I have strived to bless him daily. He knows I am standing and love him. This week he came to me for help because he was having trouble with his new partner. God is showing me every day to keep going. So much happening behind the scenes." (Great Britain)

"Praise God my husband is home. The Holy Spirit opened my husband's and the other woman's eyes to what they were doing at 3 A.M. one morning and my husband was home the next day. There is still healing and work to be done but 'with God all things are possible.' To God be the glory." (Georgia)

"My husband filed for divorce and I found out he is seeing someone. After complete despair and feeling God abandoned me, I surrendered to Him. I stopped watching all television and countless reading, and instead read the Bible, prayed and fasted. I have seen God answer prayers for a softening of my husband's heart. He sent me a birthday gift and I spent this last Sunday with him and our boys for his birthday. I wait for his salvation and God's plans." (Canada)

"My husband filed for divorce. Before our settlement trial, he entered in a judgment to finalize the divorce. It was recorded on our anniversary. I was crushed. After discussing it with my legal aid, we were able to come before the judge and show that the judgment was entered falsely. The judge overthrew the judgement. The Lord thwarted the plans of the enemy." (California)

"I have been praying for a prayer partner for many months. Last week after I had prayed for my husband and other unsaved loved ones during united prayer at church, a woman approached me and is now joining me in prayer for my husband's salvation. God is so good." (New York)

“My husband asked me to move back into our room. Praise You Jesus, my husband has made it clear that he is not for divorce. We have come a long way from the talk of divorce.” (India)

“I just want to thank God for getting me through the holidays and praise Him for everything He is doing on my behalf. I am standing even great than before and I know and believe in the promises of God to restore my marriage and my husband back to the Lord. The Lord has shown me so much these last few months. I made a vow not only to my husband, but also to my Lord to serve Him and put Him first.” (Kentucky)

“God brought me to your ministry when my husband left six years ago. It was a long, hard, battle, but he came back home three years later. Three years ago, on New Year's eve, we renewed our marriage vows. Our marriage was dead, but Jesus is the God of the resurrection. Praise God.” (Kentucky)

"My husband called to say that we would be able to use my in-laws truck on the weekend to do yard work and hauling. He added that he had invited my in-laws to dinner that weekend. This left me exhilarated, knowing that God is hard at work restoring our marriage and working in my husband. We are divorced and have lived apart for years, yet he was talking as if we weren't and inviting my in-laws over. Praise God." (Minnesota)

“Valentine's Day is usually very hard on me emotionally, but this year, I was unexpectedly blessed twice. First, with the Valentine's Day Extra email that Bob sent. It truly touched my heart and lifted my spirit. Secondly, my former husband unexpectedly showed up to take our son to dinner. While they usually do have dinner together one night a week, this was special because it was on Valentine's Day and he had chosen to spend the time with our son instead of the non-covenant person. Thank God for His kindness in granting me these two special Valentine's Day blessings.” (Texas)

"My daughter said the dad she knew when she was young is back, only much better. He came to our sports day to see our granddaughter run. We had an amazing, happy afternoon and I showed him around our school. All praise to God. He now says he is sorry for small things. He has never really used those words. Praise our mighty Lord." (United Kingdom)

"I have known that the Lord wanted me to host a Bible study for standers. I also knew that I needed the support of my pastors. Yesterday I met with my pastor to discuss organizing a study for women. His response was, 'Let's get this thing started.' Praise be to God for opening opportunities and allowing my stand to begin the next phase of God's ministry in my life." (Oklahoma)

"The Lord brought my prodigal husband home. Just like Charlyne says on one of her cassettes, the Lord brought my husband home all of a sudden. I had been praying and fasting and speaking constantly with God. Prior to my husband coming home, we had no contact for three months until Christmas morning. He called to tell me that he loves me and wanted to see me. I didn't hear from him again until December 28. Late in the evening, my husband called and said that he was ready for us to be a family again. Thank You Jesus for bringing my husband back to me. Thank you for softening my husband's heart. Thank You Lord for answering my prayers." (Florida)

"My husband filed for divorce last year. God showed me through something my husband said after court that I was to keep standing and praying. I fasted two meals last week and prayed. I have also been reading The Prodigal’s Pen that talks about the guilt when thinking of going home. My husband called me from his aircraft carrier this week to thank me for the package our daughter and I sent and to tell me that it's really good to hear my voice. God confirmed to my spirit that he is thinking of coming home and misses us. I am now praying against the shame. Praise Jesus." (Minnesota)

"Last week my refrigerator broke and my car has been running badly. My husband stopped by my house yesterday and gave me a check to buy a new refrigerator, get the van fixed and to pay off my attorney due to our divorce. The Holy Spirit is working on his heart. I am sending Rejoice Marriage Ministries 10% of the amount my husband gave me. I am so thankful for the help and support I receive from Bob and Charlyne and their wonderful ministry." (Kansas)

"As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit. Return to your fortress, O, prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you." Zechariah 9:11-12

"My prodigal has legalized his adultery, yet God has told me that he will restore my marriage and that He is not a man that he should lie. God also told me not to be moved by what I see and to focus on him. I trust God and already see our beautiful marriage being restored." (Georgia)

"Praise the Lord, after giving my testimony of standing for a restored marriage two marriages that had separated are now working things out and praying for full restoration. God is faithful." (Tennessee)

"My husband has told me that he is in love with another woman, and wants a divorce. I stumbled across your website, and it has really encouraged me. My husband has agreed to fly out and spend Christmas with me and our children, and I just thank God for every small encouragement. I know that He is still working in this marriage." (Texas)

"Praise God. My daughter planned to move back from out of state to live near school with my beloved husband. God closed that door and wills for her to live in our home. He is faithful. I am rejoicing in His Sovereignty." (Oregon)

"I am a full-time student and unable to keep up with the tuition payments. I thought I was going to have to stop attending class. I went on a fast. On the last day of my fast, the Financial Aid department informed me that they had found extra grant money to apply that to my account. The balance dropped to me only owing a few dollars for the remaining balance of my tuition. I was fasting for a restored marriage, but God knew exactly what I needed. To God be the Glory." (Florida)

“And the LORD said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD , in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” Exodus 33:19

"In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues. Praise be to the LORD, for he showed his wonderful love to me when I was in a besieged city. In my alarm I said, 'I am cut off from your sight!' Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help." Psalm 31:20-22

"My spouse was going to move back to his home state with the other woman. I prayed and sought the Word for guidance. I opened directly to Hebrews 13; 'Stay on good terms with each other, held together by love. Be ready with a meal or a bed when it is needed.' My spouse is living at my house with the other woman. I pray every day they come to their senses. I show love to them both in the image of Jesus." (California)

I called my prodigal at his job to wish him, "Happy Birthday." We had a great conversation. He said that he has been thinking about me and all the good times we used to have and how I used to take him out to dinner on his birthday. Thank You Lord." (Georgia)

"My husband is a son of God, but he turned his back on the Lord and made some bad business decisions causing us to lose everything that we had. My husband went out of the country to look for a job. I have forgiven him and now I am standing for my marriage and for the restoration of my husband's relationship to the Lord. Thank you, Charlyne and Bob because you encourage me every day to not quit and to keep praying and fasting for the total restoration of our life as a family of God." (Mexico)

"God is so great. It is a few months now with my husband back at home after a separation. Prayer is the only way. I cried to the Lord and He answered and listened to my cry. He is so wonderful." (South Africa)

“Since my husband came back last July, I went through many different emotions and trials, but I kept praying. I kept asking God to improve me, and I left everything up to Him. My husband and I took a two day trip on our own last weekend. He gave me an early birthday present, gold earrings, and told me that I am his one and only best friend and he is happy he has me. We'll need more time to heal wounds in our hearts, but I am confident that God will heal us soon. Thanks for your prayers. I believe in God's power.” (California)

"God is faithful to His word. My husband had a court date. I and others fasted and prayed. Praise the Lord, the lawyer called to set a new court date. I know God is working in both our hearts for the restoration of our marriage." (Tennessee)

"I received a surprise phone call on Christmas Day. It was from my prodigal who has not called me in many years. He wanted to thank me for a book I sent him this year. It was about encouragement for stroke survivors as he had suffered strokes this year. The Lord had prompted me to send it. He said it helped him by greatly lifting his spirits. It was a good conversation. Our daughters were glad to hear about the call also. It showed me that the Lord is still working in all our hearts even after all these years. He is faithful and never gives up on us." (Minnesota)

"After several months of little contact with my husband, God opened up an opportunity where we had to communicate. He softened his heart so much that we spent last weekend together out of town. We had such a wonderful weekend of sharing our hearts and thoughts. God is faithful." (Kansas)

"But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless." Psalm 10:14

"I recently purchased four of the beautiful Bible Reading Calendars, and you were kind enough to add other reading material. The Calendar is a blessing. At the end of the Jabez prayer in I Chronicles 4:9- 10 is 'And God granted his request' It is by God's grace that I have been saved and that every day I can pray and talk to God is a blessing. I know it will be by His grace and blessings that he will save my husband." (Brazil)

"I asked confirmation from the Lord that my standing is His will. When driving to work I heard a song that stated, 'God can and will answer your prayers.' That was confirmation enough. Praise be to our Father." (South Africa)

"My husband and I had a very broken and honest day together. We have had no contact in a year. We cried together. Only God can direct our next step. I am believing for God to make the way plain for both of us." (Washington State)

"I praise God. After declaring and decreeing that my husband would be here with me and our children for Thanksgiving, it came to fruition. My prodigal came in from deployment and even stayed with us for a night. I can see where there is a tug of war going on to come home and of course Satan trying to pull him to stay in the world, but our God is faithful and His Word will not return unto Him void." (Virginia)

"'Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.'" Acts 13:41

Praise God for little things. I went grocery shopping today, and as I pulled into the parking lot I remembered that I had no cash on me, not even a quarter to get a shopping cart out of the rack. I was mentally preparing to head to the ATM to get some cash, when I looked up and saw a cart sitting there unlocked for the taking. If my Lord can provide something as simple as a shopping cart exactly when I need it, surely He will restore my marriage, exactly when I need it and according to His timing. (Illinois)

"My Husband said he was going with his uncle to the men's breakfast at church and that he needed his suits so he could go to church, ‘since Easter is coming.' I have been praying for him to return to church." (New York)

"After listening to Charlyne's messages on the radio it became clear to me my greatest weapon in standing for my marriage is not my mouth but my God. I began zipping my lip and praying that God put a hedge of thorns around my husband so anyone interested in my husband would leave. Yesterday the other woman moved out. Praise God. My husband and I are talking every day." California)

My husband has been battling an addiction for the past couple years. Things got so bad that I made an appointment with a lawyer and started the paperwork. Before I could pay for it, my husband made the call, and got into rehab. God answered one small prayer for us. My husband has completed the inpatient portion of his program. Family members and friends thought I was crazy for giving him one more chance, but I believed in him. One day, God led me to your website. It was just what we needed. With a lot of prayers, love and support, my husband has been clean and sober for months. I still read your devotionals every day, to remind myself of what almost happened, and how far we have come. (Connecticut)

"I invited my divorced husband to church with me on Sunday. He said he would attend, but he would probably leave early to go to work. He came and stayed for the entire service. He said it was great. God is working in him, and God is teaching me not to listen to anything that is contrary to the Word of God. Praise You Jesus." (Maryland)
