“My husband is in a non-covenant relationship. The school my daughter attends had a family lunch on a day I was scheduled out of town. I arranged for my mother to stand in for me with my husband. My daughter was heartbroken and prayed for snow to cancel school so the lunch would be rescheduled to a day when I could attend. The day arrived with bright sun and comfortable temperatures. Not a snow flake in sight. I sent my daughter to school assuring her it would be fine, that Grandma and Daddy would be there. A power failure occurred which cancelled school and caused the dinner to be cancelled. It was rescheduled for February 14. I spent Valentine’s Day having lunch with my daughter and my husband at her school. Nothing is impossible with God.” (Ohio)

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

"Praise God for what He is doing in our life. My husband and I have been communicating almost every day. He said he misses me us. I trust God to remove all the obstacle in the restoration of our marriage." (California)

“My husband, who has been gone for 16 months, called me on our anniversary this week. He had received court documents that our final trial will be soon and commented that it was not a good day to receive these. We spoke for almost an hour, laughing and sharing. It was amazing. I know he has seen the changes in me, and I was able to tell him that I will always love him, always be here for him and I will never stop standing for this marriage. He says he admired my persistence! I can see changes in him since I have given everything over to God and trusted in Him. The Lord is mighty and He never lets us down.” (Arizona)

"I contacted you to tell you that my husband called and God had brought him back. We are getting re-married on June 12, 2004! All Praise to God! God is the restorer and when He does it, he makes it better than before. Nothing is impossible when we hold on to Jesus and His promises." (Florida)

My husband committed adultery two years ago and I thought we were finished. But God saw potential in my husband. I decided to stay with him and am I glad I stayed to see all the wonderful miracles God did in my marriage. He saved my husband from hell, turned our whole family completely around, and now we are the new Children's Pastors at our church. Praise God. (Texas)

“After four months of separation, God brought my prodigal back to me and we have been together for eight months. He left when I was pregnant, but was back in time to see our son born.. God is awesome. Everything looked impossible until God stepped into the picture. God did not allow my foot to slip neither will He allow any one to slip who trusts in Him! Now I am believing God for my husband’s salvation and service in the body of Christ. Ever since I found out that all things are possible with God, my expectations from Him have been enlarged. Praise His Holy name.” (Gaborone)

"The Lord guided me all through the time of separation and divorce. I could not have done it without Him. If I had found this web site and your tapes sooner, I may not have been divorced. My husband has been home for two years now and I can't thank you enough." (Maine)

"My son's shoulder surgery went well. I praise God because it took only 3.5 hours when I was told 5 hours. Now he needs months for the healing. Thanks for your prayers." (Colorado)

"My car finally broke down for good. I was relying on friends to get me back and forth to work. I had a great miracle when someone I never met gave me a free car. Praise the Lord, I emailed my spouse and told him this news and he emailed me back that he had been praying for me and that God was good." (North Carolina)

"I know the Lord is working. The woman my husband has been having a relationship with over the Internet came to meet him for the first time over the weekend. She ended up going back to her home hours away. I kept holding on to what the Lord had told me. When he came home, God gave me the grace to be so kind to him. We exchanged some kind words. The Lord keeps telling me in different ways that He is answering my prayers. I will wait no matter how long it takes. The joy of the Lord is my strength." (Mississippi)

"Our divorce was final on my husband's birthday. Two days before, I prayed and sent him a birthday card. It is a miracle that I am not falling apart and standing strong in faith. God has given me so many promises that our marriage will be healed. I am to wait on the Lord for Him to work." (Kentucky)

"I requested prayer about my court date today. It is mysteriously continued. I had been having trouble decorating, but I put up my manger scene. I remembered the gifts of Christmas, love and sacrifice given through the birth of a child. My focus is on my children and the families." (Ohio)

"Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things...Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains." Psalm 107:8-9,13-14

"To God be the glory for the things He is doing. Last night my husband rented our church and had a praise service. I prayed and asked God should I attend and God gave me peace and I went to the service. There was a time I couldn't face anyone because of the emotions. I told my husband no matter what he does or says to me, I will always represent Christ." (Illinois)

"We tell you the good news: What God promised our fathers he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: "'You are my Son; today I have become your Father." Acts 13:32-33

"I want to give God glory and honor for giving me the strength and peace to continue my stand for the restoration of my marriage. Having this relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ has made me realize that it is not about me but His Glory that will come out of this trial, and He has a purpose in my life as well as my spouse’s." (New Mexico)

"Was looking through some coupon flyers today and saw the following words in a doll advertisement; 'God Kept His Promise' and 'Brought You Home.' I love how God uses so many different ways to speak to me. Thank You, Jesus." (North Carolina)

"I prayed that God would show me a sign that He hears me and asked that He have my husband contact me. I received a text from my husband that asked if I was in town. I was so happy. I've traveled to his area a few times since he's been there and never has he reached out to me. Glory be to God." (Maryland)

"I gave my testimony with 200 men at our men’s group. I shared with what Jesus has been doing in my life since separating from my wife last year.  At the end of the night I presented an altar call and one man asked Jesus into his heart.  Several others recommitted their lives back to Christ. Praise the Lord."  (Washington)

"God is always working. I was served with a petition for divorce. The next day after receiving the sign I asked for, my husband called me and was very sweet. We talked for over an hour. It has been a long process, but God is softening his heart and his voice. He has a job offer that will have him move back to our state. Praise God, we are moving toward restoration with every day." (Missouri)

"God sent a servant to train me and I am now becoming that Biblical man that God meant for me to be for my wife in marriage. I believe in God's institution of marriage, and because of God sending her into my life, I now have salvation." (Louisiana)

"One week after attending my first Rejoice Pompano Bible study meeting, my wife notified her attorney that she wants to submit a 'motion for reconciliation.' Although this does not stop the divorce, it is a step closer to God's will for our marriage to be fully restored." (Connecticut)

“God has answered in so many ways. There is a change in our relationship. God convicted me of His very personal love for me, which is all I need, and He told me to love my spouse for His Sake, for He loves my spouse. He granted me peace and a new will to fight and pray for my marriage. I thank and praise God for your ministry, which is like a beacon of light in a dark world.” (Illinois)

"I visited a church in my community and I was able to minister to a young couple through my marriage problems. I told them to learn from me and my husband’s mistake and don’t take the route we took by separating because we are still not back together. At the end of the service the young woman thanked me and said her husband told her he was moving back home today after church." (Georgia)

"I thank God that for the second time, our court hearing has been cancelled. I'm believing God to continue to pursue my husband and restore our marriage." (Illinois)

"My husband and I met for the first time in months. We had pleasant conversation, smiled, laughed and ate dinner together. I give the glory to God. Thank You, Father God for softening my husband’s heart." (California)

"After a year of my standing, my wife said that she was done and was getting a divorce and that there was nothing I could do. I moved on, even though I knew I was still married. My wife has had a change of heart and is now the stander. I am now the prodigal, but am reaching through the confusion to rejoice in her rededication to Christ. I pray that I can find my way back and that her stand will be as strong as mine was. I gave up when there seemed no hope. If I would have just hung on for a little bit longer, we would be together now." (Texas)

"As soon as I was able to let go and fully let God, my marriage was restored, thanks to the Lord. It all happened just like you said it would. God's time is perfect. My husband left the other woman suddenly, checked into the hospital to detox for alcoholism and came home broken and in need of love, first to God then to a praying, standing wife and our children. No questions asked. Zipping my lips, as you say, is what is making this all a joyful restoration. It is work in progress. He is now to God's glory the lead vocalist for our church choir. Watching him praise God with tearful eyes is what fills the holes that the Enemy tried to bore in me. Praise the Lord. What a mighty God we serve. I hope I can encourage every stander to never, never lose heart. Continue to hold on because just like Charlyne and Bob said, it was all worth what we have now. Thank you for being used by God to keep people like us shining the light for our lost prodigals to find their way home." (New York)

"(Husband) called me to see what I had gotten our son for Easter. When I hung up, I had a feeling come across me and I called him back and asked him if he wanted to join me and our son for Easter brunch after our church service. He said that he'd like that. Later on at work that night, I just flipped open the Bible and immediately saw 1 Samuel 12:7 which says to take your stand and I knew it was a message from the Lord for me not to give up, even when the circumstances looked so bleak. Praise The Lord." (Ohio)

"Thank you Steinkamps for being with me all those midnight hours when I cried all night. Listening to your encouraging tapes that told me to never give up and keep praying. After years my husband is home." (Ohio)

"I want to praise the Lord for all He has done for me. A year ago I was falling to pieces and now He is carrying me and helping me to stand in His power and believe for the restoration of my marriage and the salvation of my in-house prodigal. Thank you to the Steinkamps for being willing to be God's tool in restoration. I will stand in faith and wait on Him alone." (South Africa)

"My prodigal moved back home months ago after being gone for a few months. He moved into the spare bedroom and has at times been mean spirited. I asked God for some comfort that things would be better. As I was headed home one afternoon I passed a car that had written on it 'Never Stop Believing.' The weekend before Mother's Day we were at our granddaughter's birthday party and my husband hugged and kissed me several times and said to me, ‘I am really trying.’ It was such an uplift to my spirits. I thank God everyday for His strength." (Arkansas)

“God is so faithful in his promises. I prayed, as Charlyne said, to have the enemy’s plans for a court date to be thwarted. I also prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide me to the right attorney. I was led to an attorney who not only had seminary background, but he understood and respected my stand. I knew I had found the right attorney when he said we needed to postpone the hearing because he was unable to attend. I know God is eventually going to restore my marriage in His time. Praise the Lord.” (Georgia)

"I found out that there was another woman. My roots said go to God. I went to church and met another stander who prayed with me, told me about Rejoice Marriage Ministries, and gave me tapes, and I was on my way back to God. It took nearly 18 months of crying out to God, and listening to Charlyne say 'Don't give up!' Praise God and we are back together and in October celebrated our 20th anniversary. I still stand and pray for (my husband) to find his way back home to God. Praise God for another restored marriage." (Virginia)

"My husband and I spoke hours on the phone about our hurts and feelings. He is considering reconciliation. Just before he called, I had been praying for some substantial sign of hope." (Ohio)

“I can tell you that it is worth it all, drawing closer to God and Him changing me personally. Now I watch as my returned prodigal is beginning to change.” (Missouri). “You were wearied by all your ways, but you would not say, 'It is hopeless.' You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint.” Isaiah 59:10

"God asked me one night, 'Are you ready for your spouse to come home?' I immediately said yes, but then I asked, 'Is there anything else You need for me to do?' At that instant I saw a car with a Kentucky tag reading 'C Cares.' Praise God." (Kentucky)

"My husband reluctantly came home two years ago. On December 23 I received a new ring, a beautiful one at that. We have now purchased a new home. He loves me and tells me each day. God is awesome and your encouragement has been so wonderful. It is so hard to stand when all seems so hopeless and you are right and the Word is right. Stand still and wait on the Lord. Praise Him, my husband is home with me and our children. Thank You Lord Jesus. Thank you Rejoice for your wonderful encouragement and support." (California)

"Since I started receiving Charlyne Cares two weeks ago, I am learning how to pray for the healing and restoration of my marriage. Thanks, Charlyne." (Wisconsin)

"After children and many issues, (husband) walked out in 2002. In 2003, I turned to the Lord. I finally found peace through our wonderful Father's grace. My prodigal returned home in May, 2004. Church became our place to meet during our restoration. Life isn't perfect, however, I can feel the Lord's hand upon our family as I stand firm in the Word of God and His Promises." (Florida)

"Sustain me according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed. Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for your decrees." Psalm 119:116-117

"I was attacked spiritually, and within minutes my Lord responded with His reassurance. I was in a pizza parlor waiting to take dinner home. I saw a couple sitting together laughing and enjoying themselves. I was attacked by thoughts of my prodigal wife being with her boyfriend in this situation and more. Praying for strength on my way home, I came upon a car in the fast lane moving rather slowly. When I passed, the license plate said, WED4LIF. God heals hurting marriages in His perfect timing." (California)

"I decided to stand for my marriage about two weeks ago, and was lead by the Spirit of God to your web site. In anger I had told my husband who I divorced to never call me again. The Holy Spirit began to deal with me and soften my heart. I had not heard from my husband in over a month. I prayed to God for a sign that it was His will for me to stand. Two hours later, my husband knocked on my door. We talked about two hours prayed together. I know God is working." (Georgia)

“My husband called tonight. We have not heard from him in over a week. The last we spoke, he was telling me how much he didn't want to be with me. Tonight he said that he can see the change in me and is talking to me because he feels he can trust me. In so many words, he misses his family. I am focused on the fact that God is dealing with him and I rejoice because of God's promise to me. My husband is now saying 'if' we get back together. He is reading his Bible and allowing God to deal with him. God is amazing.” (Maryland)

"Although my spouse has separated, she knows the Word, but does not fight the feelings and thoughts satan putd in her thinking. God is a true Friend helping me not to look at what I see, hear, or feel but building my faith to focus on His promise." (Germany)

"Today my spouse came to help around the yard. He was in a very sour mood. A button was pushed and I started blurting out everything that he had done. He yelled that I hadn't changed a bit. Then a light went on that I had fallen prey to one of Satan’s schemes. I stopped and apologized for my part and he drove away angry. He called to say that he was sorry. I said I was also and we cried. I love You, Jesus." (Michigan)

"I had to travel for my job. My prodigal agreed to stay overnight with our son at our home while I was gone. But there were day care challenges such as drop off and pick up. I cried out to God and He arranged an acquaintance to help me out. I didn't even approach the acquaintance but she volunteered to take my son to day care and feed him dinner after she found out my dilemma. Praise God. Only He could orchestrate such a move. After I returned from my trip, the phrase, 'Those who trust in the Lord will not be disappointed' keeps appearing in my head. Thank You, Father." (Wisconsin)
