"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27

“My husband returned home. I prayed that he would talk about our separation so that I would know that the soul tie was really broken. This past weekend we talked about everything, including how he had been deceived by the other woman. I told him that we were all deceived by the enemy. We are praying together and he joined church. I can remember just a little over a month ago running every morning to read what the Lord had place in Bob and Charlyne's spirit to share. Thanks for all your prayers.” (Louisiana)

"I give thanks every day for you. In my dark moments, my adult Christian children would say, 'Why don't you see what Charlyne has to say,' and the answer was always there. The Holy Spirit is slowly working on my husband. He told me last week I was the most precious thing in his life. This was the first time he has said this in three decades of marriage. God has worked through you to bring me to a new place. You often make me laugh and then cry. But most of all I know that our marriage is going to be better than ever." (United Kingdom)

"I was such a sinner and I destroyed my marriage. I've been asking God if standing is what He wants me to do, or am I kidding myself because I want my marriage restored? Why would God restore my marriage? I believe in God's word, but the enemy has been telling me how bad I was. Today I listened to The Battle for Your Mind and Thoughts, I cannot find the words to express how this teaching touched me. God answered my prayer. All the negative thoughts my mind has been trying to convince me, I didn't want to believe, but they kept coming forward. Your teaching covered each and every one and I mean every thought. I know that God is speaking to me and this is what He wants me to do and I have not one doubt left. The Lord has been answering my prayers but I could not accept that the answers were for me. I wanted so much to believe this was for me, but the doubt kept trying to take over my mind. If I had not listened to your teaching. I would had missed what the Lord wanted me to hear. Charlyne, you know how I feel." (Texas)

"God has really blessed my prodigal and I with such good communication even with our children. He even called me by a pet name when we said good bye." (Maryland)

"I had given up hope of my husband coming this Easter, and only bought enough corn-on-the-cob for the three of us. My husband called at 12:30 P.M. Sunday to tell me that he was feeling stupid and pitiful, and wondered what we were doing. He decided to join us for dinner, and so I made a quick trip to the store for some more corn! He arrived with an Easter lily and candy for me, and a game for the kids. What was a nice surprise, and evidence that God is moving even when I'm feeling hopeless."

"I prayed that the Lord would soften my prodigal wife's heart so that I could spend Father's Day with her and our children. She asked me if I would meet her and the kids for lunch on Father's Day. I thank the Lord for all He is doing to restore our marriage and our family." (Maryland)

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100:4-5

“My husband spent the entire holiday season with his family, our three kids and me. We serve an awesome God." (Canada)

“My prodigal has not been feeling well. He has now made the rounds to all the specialists and had every test imaginable. He called to ask if I had canceled his life insurance. I have heard from friends how he asked them to help him get his papers together. He is believing a negative report. I am interceding and believing my prodigal is one step closer to returning home! He has been in church two weeks now. God has tried to get his attention so many ways. It is hard hearing all that he is going through, but I know my God will turn it around for good!” (Florida)

"This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." Deuteronomy 30:19-20

"The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary." Isaiah 40:28

"In the past few weeks God has been doing so many wonderful things. The same day my current job told me they may not have a need for me full time, I learned there was a job opening in the same city where my prodigal husband lives. While in town for my interview I got to spend time with my husband. We laughed and joked like we used to, it was so wonderful and I praise God for allowing us to have that time together." (North Carolina)

"Praise God, my husband is coming home. It looked so hopeless. He declared it was over and was filing for divorce. He is so happy to rekindle and work on our marriage." (Georgia)

"My spouse came over today. I asked him to put something in the closet for me. When he did, he noticed that his clothes are still hanging there. He asked me why I haven't gotten rid of them and I told him that I couldn't. He saw where his current clothes will hang when he comes home. Praise God who is faithful. He will do what He has promised in His Word." (Pennsylvania) ** "I prayed for my husband to be changed, but I forgot to pray for change in myself. I was still so hurt and angry. Our divorce became final last summer and I finally let go of my anger and pain. When I changed God worked His miracle and my husband came home a few months after our divorce. We are so much happier than before." (New York)

"I am on workman's comp right now and had been without a home of my own for over six months but the Lord provided a friend and my sister to stay with during that time. A week ago the Lord moved on a lady and she offered me a home, is taking weekly rent, and kept the electric in her name. I just want to praise the Lord He is working in my life and teaching me obedience, and has answered many prayers." (Oklahoma)

"I was led to take a silent stand with God (for my marriage). Suddenly I was bombarded with feelings, thoughts, and dreams that I should offer amends for my wrongs, regardless of (husband's) reactions. I tried to ignore it, as attempts to apologize before always led him to attack. I left a message asking if I could meet to make amends. He called back (never did before), was kind and said that he was open to talking. Praise God for guiding me. I believe that God wants me to apologize first while He is touching (husband's) heart slowly. Please pray that God guides my words and continues to humble my prodigal's heart." (Florida)

"It would be so easy right to just let go and slip into deep despair. But just thinking about Jesus makes something rise up and out of me, and even though I'm crying I have to say no. God told me to stand for my marriage. He told me ‘I will not send you a new man, you have a husband, he is lost and you need to wait for him to come home to you.’ This happened to me at 8:45 PM on the 25th of May, 2002. I will never forget that as long as I live. So even though I was standing, and wasn't aware of it. I just didn't feel comfortable dating, and then the day I asked for the Lord to send me someone, then he spoke to my heart very loud and clear and said what he said, and I've been consciously standing ever since. ‘Even though he slay me, yet I will trust him." (Minnesota)

"My parents have been divorced for many years. I am happy to say that my dad moved back into my mom's house this past week, just as friends. I know God is going to restore their marriage. This is great encouragement to me in my stand for my own marriage. Thank You, Jesus." (Michigan)

"Mother's Day is usually a difficult time for me since I never had children, although I wanted to so much. While I was doing my daily Bible study, Ezekiel 36:8-11 really seemed to stand out. I was hoping that I was hearing God, but I wanted to be sure so I asked Him to confirm it to me if He was speaking to me. Just a little while ago, I opened my email to find a Mother's Day greeting from my prodigal. He said that he remembered how difficult this day is for me. He asked if I was okay and how things are going. This is the first time my prodigal has ever acknowledged this day, so I think I received my confirmation. I'm praising God in the midst of my tears." (Virginia)

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance...Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." 1 Peter 3:9,17-18

"Thank you Lord for how you use 'Rejoice Marriage Ministries' in proclaiming your truths. After being discouraged by a Christian about marriage restoration, I played 'Restoration of Your Marriage,' (because it was in the CD player at the time) and many of the things we had just spoken about came up and I was able to hear God's Word and perspective. Thank You Jesus." (England)

"On the third day of complaining to God about who is in control, I drove up to a red light and the car in front of me had a bumper sticker that read 'God Is In Control.' God is faithful even when I am not. Praise and glory to Him." (California)

"My divorce was final. Since I have been so blessed with peace, joy and excitement. My wedding band seemed to stand out more on my finger. The Holy Spirit reminded me that God placed the rainbow in the sky after the storm as a reminder of God's covenant." (Ohio)

“My wife divorced me last year. Since that time our communication has been slowly improving. I had been trying to meet with her Pastor for some time, and he asked me to come to Church. Just seeing the smile of approval on my wife's face, God confirmed many things. It was wonderful to be there as a witness to others my standing.” (Australia)

We want Testimonies to boast of what God has done, not on what Rejoice Marriage Ministries has done. We do not use a lot of testimonials about our material, but your stand for a restored marriage will be helped greatly by books and tapes from the Rejoice Bookstore.

"During a fast, as I was seeking the Lord for a refreshing in my stand for my marriage, I received a heartwarming Mother's Day card from my spouse. Also my spouse has invited me to drop by his house for tea, on the day that our son will be arriving at his dad's house for a few days' visit. The Lord has been so faithful when I have felt like nothing is happening. Glory to His name." (Canada)

"God gave me a wonderful day on my birthday. I passed a Covenant Transport truck on the way to work. I had lunch with a fellow stander. I saw another Covenant truck on the way home in the rain, as well as the most beautiful rainbow. As I turned onto my street I passed my prodigal. God blessed me with His presence and the assurance that He is in control." (Georgia) (You can read what Covenant Transport trucks mean to some standers from - http://rejoiceministries.org/covenant_transport.php )

(Send after her Mother funeral last week) "One wonderfully bright note is that (my husband) drove down in time to join us for the family meal and funeral, almost 500 miles each way, even though he had to be back to go to work at 7 am the next day. I think everyone was very glad to see him, and appreciated him coming. I know I was/did. I had an email from him after he got home that complimented the way I had planned the service. He sat across from me at the meal and just talked and talked to me." (Texas)

"My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

"My prodigal lost his job and called to tell me that he had no money to give us until he found another job. I had such peace, as I knew that God was working in his life. A week later, I received a call offering me a second job, and then the week after that, my primary job gave me an unexpected raise. God provides and I'm still standing." (Florida)

"My absent husband shared bad news with me. I was shocked and angry, but God is in control. I was able to zip my lips. I wanted to give up, but God is directing me to wait, look towards Him and not focus on the circumstances. God has provided a Christian retreat for me this weekend. What timing." (California)

"The day before Christmas I was discourage but I poured my heart out to the Lord and asked Him what I should I do? The Lord spoke to me to cook all the foods my husband likes and send a message. I texted my husband a few words. He texted me back and I invited him to dinner. He accepted. We ate and he rested. I watched him sleep and I prayed over him softly. When he was leaving I fixed food for him to take home. He was kind and nice. To God Be The glory." (Texas)

"Praise the Lord, I received a notice that our court date has been continued. I believe the Lord can do a lot of work in the next 60 days." (Nebraska)

"My husband has been calling in the mornings. He said that I have been on his heart lately. Earlier this week he called and started sharing the Word of God to me. He prayed, then I prayed. God is working things out in His time." (Maryland)

"I found out that my husband pawned his wedding ring. That hurt me. I read that the rainbows like a wedding ring, are a circle. My God is amazing. This week He blessed me with three rainbows. Next week I have court date, but I know God is working." (Florida)

“I want to thank you for praying for us. This time has been filled with tears anger, and frustration, but I count it all joy for the Lord choosing me to go through this test in my marriage. The Lord granted me victory today. I spoke with my lawyer and she said my case was dismissed.” (Illinois)

"My prodigal came over for Thanksgiving with such a humble spirit. I know God is touching him. God allowed me to see this change in my prodigal. Praise be to God." (South Dakota)

“Today, on a Christian radio show, they were taking praise and prayer requests and a woman called who was devastated that her husband had left her and her children. I felt the Holy Spirit led me to call the station and praise God for calling me to stand for my marriage, and to tell of an entire movement going on for the restoration of marriages, encouraging this woman and others to get into the Word and seek God because He has revealed how important families are to Him, that we don't have to just be a statistic like the world says we are. God once told me when I was crying out to Him, that He would use me to bring hope to people. I don't know yet what form that will take, but I thank Him for the opportunity today to tell the listening audience that God heals hurting marriages.” (Maryland)

"O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure. My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart." Psalm 7:9-10

"I got laid off from work this week and came home to find the sheriff had been there to serve my divorce papers. I spent the next two days agonizing in prayer and reading God's Word. I asked God to show me I was on the right path and what to do. Bob's segment on 'The Lord's Hospital' was great, then I went to church and the pastor preached on 'God's Emergency Room.' My son got saved that night. God has given me the assurance that I am on the right track. He is healing our broken family." (Tennessee)

"When my prodigal moved out, he took the computer with him. Since then, I have used Internet, at school, when visiting family, or at the local library. My earthly Father has provided me with a new computer, and I can now listen to the Monday night messages and Charlyne’s daily radio message. I now will go and read the book of Jonah. Just this week, a chaplain asked for web sites to help a couple, and I offered marriage ministries and Oneplace.com ." (Australia)

"I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." Luke 15:7

“I had started standing and had given up. Following a women's retreat with my church, the Lord spoke to me to continue standing for my husband. One day, out of the blue, a tape came from your ministry that I had not ordered. I began to stand for my husband once again. One particular weekend the Lord laid on my heart to give (husband) extra prayer. My husband had an accident and the car was totaled. My husband was only slightly bruised. Since then, he has been extra attentive to us and is constantly visiting us. I praise God for His patience with my disobedience of not standing.” (New York)

"My spouse made the statement that he was not renewing the lease on his apartment and would be moving home." (Indiana)

"Recently I was going to see family several hours away, and was not looking forward to it because of the midway point. Half way was the town my prodigal's family lives in, where we got married, and a multitude of other memories. I wanted to feel sorry for myself. God showed me that I can control my thoughts. Although a few tears were shed, a few miles outside of the town I started reading the Bible, and quoting memorized scripture as I passed through town. Then I was fine. Praise God that my thoughts have been transformed." (Texas)

"I have been standing for almost three years. A few weeks ago, my prodigal sent me a letter from the lawyer insisting on divorce. I clung tightly to God's promises and cried out to the Lord daily in prayer. With my physical eyes, I can't see anything, but in the spiritual realm, I know this battle belongs to the Lord. From my part, I need only to obey, to be faithful, and to live in the way that God wants me to, and I know the rest will be taken care of. God will speak to me in the morning in my quiet time and when I turn on the computer, there will be the confirmation in that day's Charlyne Cares. You just don't know how much you have strengthen me day by day on my standing time." (Hong Kong)

“I have so enjoyed all the spiritual building I have been receiving since I first discovered your website. I have been praying a long sheet of scriptures several times a day.” (Michigan)

I was in such darkness before my marriage fell apart. But God has truly has opened my eyes, I was a very bitter angry man, just full of resentment and unforgiveness. In the last few weeks, He had opened the floodgates of my heart and has filled it with so much love and forgiveness. I was a Christian all these years, only in the mechanical sense. Praise Jesus, He is making me a new man, and I know He will restore my marriage, My wife is going to be so happy at what the Lord has done with me. (Wisconsin)

"I felt a heavy burden to pray for my husband as if he needed me. I texted him and told him what I was feeling and that I was praying for him. He texted me back that he is having problems with the other person. I assured him I would be praying for both of them. God is so faithful. He knew I needed encouragement and he showed me He is working in my husband's life." (State Removed)
