We want Testimonies to boast of what God has done, not on what Rejoice Marriage Ministries has done. We do not use a lot of testimonials about our material, but your stand for a restored marriage will be helped greatly by books and tapes from the Rejoice Bookstore.

"The Lord used Bob to confirm what he spoke to my heart recently and I thank you for being obedient to His voice. The Lord spoke to me about getting more and more into the Word. I have the Bible on tape and I have been listening to the Bible. The Lord blesses for obedience. This week my covenant spouse informed me he was going to refinance our home so that he could help the kids and me stay there. Praise the Lord. . He wanted to sell in 2004. I give God all the glory for what He is doing to soften (husband's) heart." (North Carolina)

"I am able to see God's blessings in my life. My neighbor is a Brownie leader and she started my girls in Brownies with no money. She also talked to a manager at Wal-Mart and he helped me to get a job. Last Sunday at church they prayed with me and also gave us $50. My oldest daughter had her birthday party today. My husband and I were going to get her a bike, but when he left I couldn't afford anything. I gave her my old CD player and bought her a CD, but I was still heartbroken that we couldn't have a bike. One of her friend's parents learned what is going on and they bought my daughter a bike. The Girl Scout Troop is going to mow our lawn as part of their community service. I am amazed and overjoyeed at God's blessings in my life. He is continually putting people in my path to help us. I am still hoping and praying that God touches my husband's heart and restores our marriage." (Florida)

"I have been questioning God's timing and if He is working in our restoration. My prayers have been focused on communication. Then, my husband called me Monday afternoon. We have not talked on the phone for months. He was soft and kind and even asked to talk to our daughter. The rest of the week has also been a blessing, including more phone communication and my husband helping out with finances. God does hear our cries. He is working." (Pennsylvania)

"My prodigal spouse called me after no contact for months. We have been talking each day and he is talking about the restoration of our marriage, even though he filed for divorce a month ago. For the first time in over a year he went to church Sunday. God is going to complete the good work He began in my husband’s heart." (California)

"We had our final court appearance and the judge was going to grant my husband his request for divorce, but through the grace of God, the judge decided to have our case go to trial. I have stated to the judge I am contesting the divorce. He is giving me the opportunity to make a formal statement in court next week." (Colorado)

"Last weekend I was growing weary and frustrated in my stand. I cried out to God in the bathroom at church. I told Him I felt like giving up and asked Him to guide and direct me in His will for our marriage. I went back to the pew as the pastor began his sermon about 'Not Quitting.' Three times he said 'Do not quit on your marriage.' God never fails." (Texas)

"Praise the Lord, for He always answers our prayers. This past Monday after reading 'Charlyne Cares,' ('He Who Began A Good Work In You'), about how Jesus Christ wants all our marriages healed and God finishes what He starts. I prayed and asked God to reveal to me if this was His plan for my marriage. He has given me Luke 15:11, the story of the prodigal son, twice in the last three days. To God be the glory." (California)

"God turns circumstances around, for His glory and for our good. The evil one tried to sow discord and strife between my husband and me over a financial misunderstanding. Instead, God turned the situation into an opportunity for us to have good communication, and the problem was resolved. Thanks be to God." (Washington)

"I give praise to God. My spouse and I have been separated. We are getting along and spending time together. Today my spouse told me that he loved his wife and he was not leaving. This is just the beginning of what God is doing. I'm never giving up on my marriage." (Louisiana)

"Praise God that my husband came home suddenly on April 20. He told me that he woke up one morning and thought, 'I really miss her.' I am still praying and fasting that the Lord will complete the restoration of my husband's relationship with the Lord, with me, and with our adult children, in His time. I know He has plans for us that are beyond our imagination because that is what He told me. The past few weeks have been so busy, I have only just had time to compose this email to let you know. I remember Mary in the tape set "Be Healed" saying that it is hard to find time to sit before the Lord when your spouse comes home and she was right. I still try make time to do this in my car at break time and lunchtime. I am also able to listen to tapes at work and still do my job well. Thank you Charlyne and Bob for being obedient to His voice because He has used you both and all of the Rejoice Ministries staff to minister to me and many others through this painful journey that God has allowed me to walk. I am thankful for His strength that keeps me putting one foot in front of the other each moment. I will never, never, never give up." (Texas)

"I recently returned from a trip. During the week whilst I was away the Lord spoke to me to say my spouse would be waiting at arrivals. When the plane touched down I switched on my mobile phone and the first text message to come through totally out of the blue was from my spouse. God is faithful with his promises." (United Kingdom) (PS-This stander neglected to say that the trip brought her to Pompano Beach.)

"Praise God. The court date for the divorce was to be next week. My husband agreed to a continuance. I am so thankful that I serve a faithful and loving God. I give him all the praise." (Missouri)

“This past week I had my yearly furnace cleaning scheduled. When I got home there was an urgent message to call them back. They relayed that there was so much carbon monoxide in my home because of a plugged chimney. I had been extremely fatigued, almost confused and daily headaches for over two months. The devil was trying to make me believe I was a lazy couch potato. The Lord truly spared my life. I am so grateful and humbled.” (Connecticut)

"Praise be to God, my husband rededicated his life to Christ and we are going to try to make it with God's help. We are now attending church and we would like for you to keep us in prayer." (Maryland)

"I was the prodigal and now as my wife deals with the results of my betrayal, we are separated. She was taking the children to the beach and invited me to join them. Praise God. Upon our return she asked me to move back home. God is answering my prayers for restoration as I stand for my marriage." (Florida)

"I have limited contact with my husband who lives in another state. Thanksgiving night I was feeling discouraged but still hopeful that I might hear from him. I not only got a text but a message saying he loves me. Praise God, this was a major breakthrough." (New York)

“My prodigal husband shared with me that he bought himself a puppy. I can't help but think that is a way of trying to fill the void in his life. I know that the Lord is working in his life and that soon my husband will be brought to his knees in repentance.” (Maryland)

“My husband came to see me and his son after a month of absence. We had a nice conversation. Actually he did the talking and I just listened. Listening is something I had to work on. He said he missed me, and he held my hand for a moment and looked at my wedding band for a moment. Praise God. I don't know what he was thinking. I just know God was there. I give God all the glory.” (Missouri)

<I> "I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God." Ezekiel 11:19-20

"I haven't written in some time and I just wanted you to know that it looks like God is moving in (my husband's) life and he is chatting with me every night online. He is allowing me to tell him that I love him, that he is precious to me and even has gone so far as to suggest that he is "thinking" of coming home. " (Virginia)

"My husband has visited more on weekends with our children. Our kids love when Daddy comes over, as it seems like the good old days. I know that God is restoring our family one day at a time. I can speak of God so freely and proclaim that He is my Savior. My husband has opened his heart to know that God is at work in his life as well, and we will come out of this with God at the center." (Texas)

"While I was driving to Rejoice Bible Study my husband called my cell phone. I was right at the Interstate exit of the city my husband was calling from and we met at a restaurant to eat and talk. Praise Jesus." (Florida)

"Months ago my prodigal started coming to see the children again for the first time. A few weeks ago he called to inform me that his wife had moved out. Last night he called to tell me that he is filing for divorce. He has called several times to talk and just to get support which I gladly give." (South Carolina)

“My husband came to Church with us on Sunday. He had not been to church in years. Praise God.” (New York)

"He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate. He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever." Psalm 111:4-5

"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand." Ephesians 6:13 (NKJV)

"I was called to stand and have been praying for my husband’s restoration to the Lord and for our marriage restoration. Recently I started fasting and this past weekend the Lord showed me how He is working on my husband's heart. My husband wished me a Happy Valentine's Day, offered to take me out to eat and sent me a box of chocolates, which he used to send me when we were first married." (New York)

"I praise the Lord for He is working in a mighty way. I recently was able to go on a week vacation with my husband. Although he is not home yet, I believe that God is softening his heart. My Heavenly Father will bring my prodigal home in His perfect timing." (California)

"This past year has been a turning point in my life. My wife has filed for divorce. I was following God from a distance without realizing it. I rededicated my life to Him and God is changing my thoughts, decisions, behavior and character. My spouse is wondering if the change is real or just temporary. I will stand for God is my rock of salvation." (Netherlands)

"After my husband left he would only communicate with me regarding our children. Over the last month, God has allowed me glimpses of His work on my husband's heart. My husband has begun to visit our home to spend time with our children, usually staying for several hours at a time. We have eaten out on several occasions as a family and he took me to lunch for my birthday. I know God is at work accomplishing what He said He would do." (Arkansas)

"Praise be to God, my husband is home. God has changed him from the man who wanted divorce to a man who wants to be home. I thank God also for changing me and helping me to forgive and love my husband." (United Kingdom)

"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken." Psalm 34:17-20

"My prodigal married another woman. Devastated, I questioned God whether or not I should continue to stand. To me it seemed hopeless now, but God whispered to me, 'That doesn't change anything.' Therefore, I continued to believe for marriage restoration even though it looked impossible. My prodigal now calls me, telling me how much he loves and misses me and that he wants to work on our relationship. Glory be to God. Not only did He give me what I needed to stand that weekend, but he also turned what was meant for bad into something good." (Texas)

"My husband of 36 years left our home. I have been concerned about our family dogs failing health. I thought I had to make the big decision. I emailed (husband) and told him I just couldn't do this alone. He wrote back and said he would help me. I made an appointment with the vet. I was so physically ill the whole night before, I just cried and cried out to the Lord. That morning, our dog rebounded and ate a huge breakfast, took a long walk and was having a good morning. We decided we would put aside this decision for the time being. I told my husband he was welcomed to come and visit our dog anytime he wanted, which he did a few days later. When he came to our house for his doggie visit, he also put the recycling bins and trash out for pickup the following day. As I drove home from work that night, I saw the dumpster and just shouted to the Lord, 'Bless my husband Lord for taking out the trash.' I am thanking the Lord that He uses all vessels, creatures great and small, to soften men's hearts." (New York)

"Today was a hearing. Praise God, the judge granted 60 days to continue praying for my husband to agree to counseling or reconciliation." (Missouri)

“Our young adult son called today to thank me for my stand and said that he loved me. When my husband left, this son told me that it was ok with him and his sister if I got divorced. Over time I came to realize that it was obedience to God that changed my prayers and life and kept me from filing divorce, and standing for my marriage. Today, I could hear a change in my oldest son's voice. My son told me about his girlfriend and her brothers, sitting in a restaurant on Thanksgiving, because both her Mom and Dad had other people in their lives.” (Florida)

"From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do." Isaiah 46:11

"I received a surprise phone call and visit last week from my husband who lives in another state hours away. He wants to work things out. His comment was he couldn't understand how I acted as though nothing had happened and I had let my hair grow and gained a little weight just for him. It is time to wait longer so that God can get the glory for our restored marriage, which He has confirmed to me." (Mississippi)

“I am praising the Lord for His faithfulness. I had prayed for favor with my husband at our granddaughter's birthday party. My husband and I talked for 30 minutes. He came up to me, without me seeking him out. When the party was over, he hugged me in front of our two children and the non-covenant, who seemed very upset. I had not seen him in a year. My family was elated, as was I. Praise the Lord.” (Colorado)

"May the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way." 2 Thessalonians 3:16

“My husband went on vacation. We were praising God as he called our sons every night and told them how much he loved them and missed them. I asked for a sign. I asked for a gift from this vacation. Upon returning he gave each child a very thoughtful gift and then placed in my hands one for me. It was the baby Jesus in a hand made crib. How awesome. I was without words, but not without praise to our God. Thanks for encouraging me to ask for a sign.” (Pennsylvania)

"My husband kept our child so I could attend a meeting after work. On the way home, I was nervous and began to pray intensely. I glanced up and saw a church sign that read 'Rejoice God is in control. Better times ahead.'" (Tennessee)

"My prodigal lives out of the state. The Lord worked a miracle and gave him a reasonable ticket. He is flying in today to see me and the kids. I know the Lord is working on him. This looked like the most impossible situation a few months ago. God is so good." (Ohio)

“I thank God for tax time. My husband and are separated with hardly any contact. He decided to file jointly and we submitted our records to the accountant. They needed reconciling (just like our marriage) and we met to talk about it. We hadn't seen each other in months. It went really well. We talked and laughed like old times. He said that maybe we can get together again soon. I fasted and prayed yesterday and the Lord heard my prayers. I don't know what I'd do without God and his faithful servants, Bob and Charlyne.” (California)

"After fasting and praying, I felt God's love and peace during my anniversary. On Thanksgiving, after years of separation and divorce, I was blessed with my prodigal being home for Thanksgiving dinner, cooking and leading our family in prayer. The next day, he attended a party I was hosting and called me later to thank me for inviting him and complimented me on my success as a hostess. I am speechless at God's love and grace for me and my family." (Georgia)

“Have you suffered so much for nothing—if it really was for nothing? Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?” Galatians 3:4-5

“I feel so privileged to be able to tell you that I know that in all of this God is working His purpose out. We met and I feel that my wife is continuing on her spiritual journey which will include her return to a restored marriage. I feel that for the first time in many years that there has been an honest conversation between us. Jesus has given me a level of peace that can only come from Him. Your daily email are so often just what I need to hear from the Lord.” (England)

"This week I had a bill to pay and then I would have very little money left. I had given to God my tithe and knew that he wouldn't let me down. I cried out to God and then next day I received an amount of money that was over double my tithe. God is amazing and he never lets us down." (United Kingdom)

"Praise the Lord, my hubby came back after several years. God heard my cry and fulfilled His words to perform it. Thank you for Charlyne Cares that constantly encouraging me to stand, pray without ceasing and persevere. Your ministry help me tremendously." (Malaysia)
