"My wife called to ask how to do something on her computer. I know the other person would have been furious to know she called me about it. A couple of days earlier I had noted in my journal a prayer for communication." (North Carolina)

“I have given myself to the Lord, and let him take care of my prodigal and our situation. I was reading the marriages restored pages today for inspiration and hope. One of the testimonies mentions Isaiah 62:5, which I was not familiar with. I opened my Bible at random, and to my surprise, it was Isaiah 62.5. God is so good, and so faithful. I am no longer a fair weather friend. I know He will work miracles for us.” (Canada)

My wife called me. A friend told her about a movie we should see. I believe she knew what Fireproof was about before we went, but she did not tell me. While in the movie she was crying and emotional. She said she wished she had seen the movie before she filed for divorce. The thing I did not tell her is that I had seen Fireproof before, so I was thanking God because I know He is moving to restore our marriage in Jesus name. (Georgia)

“I was amazed at how many prayer requests had lupus and cancer. After my husband left, I was struck with lupus. Praise the Lord that He not only heals our marriages, but will heal all of our diseases as well. The Lord healed me 100% after I prayed and claimed that ‘by the stripes of Jesus I am healed’ with NO doubt. Thank you, Lord, I am symptom free. Look up Romans 8:11, Isaiah 53:4-5, Psalm 107:19-20, Psalm 103:3-5, Exodus15:26, Matthew 8:17.” (Ohio) A PS from Pompano - We do receive a tremendous number of prayer requests for healing needs. This same Jesus, who heals marriages, also heals bodies. We have looked up these healing scriptures for you.

"My husband called me after months of no contact telling me he still loves me. The Lord is moving me and the kids a few hours from my husband’s military base. My husband says when he comes from sea duty in a few months he will come and visit me and our children. This is a great start." (New York)

"I want to praise the Lord that the other woman broke up with my prodigal and told him to come home. Since that time, he has been over every single day for a few hours. Today we walked in the park with our precious babies. Last Sunday a Sunday School teacher said she felt led to give me the scripture Joel 2:25. I am praising God for the confirmations He is sending to my heart each day." (Georgia)

"I went through a period of being afraid to call my husband. I prayed to God to remove the fear the week of Father’s Day, I left a message on my husband’s phone to let him know that he is a good husband and father. This morning I stopped at Dunkin Doughnuts for coffee and while standing there, our wedding song came on the radio, I began to have such a peace. God is moving." (Illinois)

"I want to thank my God for Rejoice Marriage Ministries. I am listening to 'Fight for Your Marriage' and Charlyne is speaking. I am trusting God to heal my husband completely. Thank You so much Bob and Charlyne, God did guide me to your ministry for a reason." (Connecticut)

"My husband has been living a prodigal lifestyle which led him back to my doorstep two days ago. He is only asking for a place to stay until he gets himself together and has voiced strongly that in no way are we getting back together, but I know better. I have consistently prayed and fasted for months for my marriage. I had filed for divorce only to go on a day fast and heard from God that

"My husband and I are still separated, though he broke up with the other woman and cancelled our divorce. I prayed much on what to give him for Christmas, and felt God telling me to buy him a wedding band. He lost his years ago. On Christmas I gave it to him, telling him that there was no pressure for him to wear it and no strings attached, just that I wanted him to have one available for when he was ready to take reconciliation to the next stage. He is wearing it. He is spending much more time with us and things are happening." (California)

"I can testify that what Bob says about prodigals is true. My husband has been home for a few months. Since he returned, he has told me about many times that he missed me and felt that he had made a huge mistake. He says he thought that it was unforgivable and he couldn't come home. He also told me about times I came up in his mind or during a conversation with the other person. He said he saw many things in the far country that reminded him of me." (Virginia)

"My marriage fell apart. I stood for my marriage for three years. (Husband) remarried and I gave up and started doing my own thing. My husband had lived in another state and moved back to our state with his (non-covenant) wife. He and I have been friends pretty much the entire time we've been divorced. Recently he's been confiding in me. Today, my mother-in-law called me and told me that my husband had a talk with her, and out of the blue, he mentioned that he and I have a real close relationship. He said that he finds himself turning to me and he doesn't know what he would ...............................do if I were not there for him. When she told me these things all I could do was cry and thank God. Lately, I have felt the Lord tell me to stand for my marriage again. We can't see what the Lord is doing but He is indeed working." (State omitted due to nature of testimony)

"Prayer does work. God is moving mountains. After years of separation, God has opened my spouse’s heart for counseling. Praise the Lord. He is good." (Washington)

"Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing." I Peter 3:8-9

“I prayed so hard to God this Christmas season that I would find joy in the true meaning of the season despite all the commercialism and talk of diamonds being signs of someone really loving you. I asked God to give me the joy to enjoy this time while my children are young. A short time later, I was driving in my car and I felt a deep calm come over me. I felt that God was telling me that even though I was without my spouse again this Christmas, I have many more Happy Christmases ahead of me. I keep hearing, 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' on the radio. I believe I will spend future Christmases with my family intact once again to the Glory of God.” (South Carolina)

"My husband and I have been living in two countries since we migrated to New Zealand years ago. He has told me that he has another family he wants to keep the two families. I started to stand for my marriage with my children. We pray together every day for our family's salvation and that we be able to live under one roof. Recently my husband told us that he is thinking of coming back here to study. Hallelujah, praise the Lord that He hears our prayers. God is working in him and He will restore my marriage in His perfect timing. Nothing is impossible with God." (New Zealand)

"I stand on God's promises. My husband has been helping out around the house and even called me three times on my Birthday. Thank You Jesus." (California)

"My wife and I have been reunited for two years and God is truly blessing our marriage. Years ago my wife asked me to forgive her for something. I could not, and I became angry and verbally abusive and she left. God led me to a group at church and with God's love, He helped me forgive and overcome my anger. Then I found your ministry and started standing for my marriage. I too had become a prodigal. It is such a blessing to be able to love my wife unconditionally again, just as Christ loves us." (Pennsylvania)

"My sons had Vacation Bible School all week and Saturday night was their program. God blessed me by allowing me to go to my wife's apartment and pick her and the boys up so we could all ride up together. My wife and I got to sit close together and watch our two sons do their programs and get awards. It was nice to see those little lives that God has entrusted to us and to know that He has a plan and purpose for all this. My wife moved out last November, but last I checked God is the finisher of all things. So I am waiting for Him to finish the work He has started in me and to restore my family from the enemy. Praise God" (Ohio)

"My husband came home to us for Thanksgiving. Praise Jesus and His Holy Name. Our Lord keeps all His promises." (Pennsylvania)

“I have a home Bible study. Last month I was asked to be the guest speaker at our Ladies Night Out. That night I spoke not to the four women who are faithful to come every month, but to over 40 women. The labor pains may be great but the wait for God's glory is worth it.” (Oklahoma)

“I am a stander for my marriage and I want to thank the Lord that He has helped me help my sister to restore her marriage. My sister was in the same predicament as me. Praise the Lord I know what He has done for my sister, He will do for me in good time.” (South Africa)

"This past Sunday, I took a long nighttime walk to clear my head and talk to God. As I was walking, I looked up at the brightly shining moon and noticed that there were two stars above the moon, equal distance from the moon and they formed a pair of eyes and the moon formed a nose and there were five or six stars under the moon that formed an almost prefectly shaped mouth thus making a king size smiling face looking down upon me. Every time I looked up, I knew God was smiling down upon me. Praise the Lord and all His wonderful works." (New York)

My husband called me couple days ago because he wants to see our girls and told me that even if things didn't worked between him and I, that he wants us to have a good relationship for our children's best. He even has a different attitude of talking to me now and I know that God's mighty power is working on him. I believe that God will restore our love and marriage. I thank God for what he has done, for what he is doing, and for what he'll do. (California)

"My husband and I are going through separation and my prodigal has been involved with someone and even filed for divorce. By the grace and mercy of the Lord, we are now attending marriage counseling, dating once a week, and attending church together as a family. I give God all the praise for putting my marriage on the path of restoration." (Georgia)

"My husband has been gone over five years. Five of our sons are in the military. (Son) is in Intelligence. He and his wife were expecting a son. The baby was due on October 7 He got orders that he will be leaving at the beginning of October. God answered our prayers that the baby would be born before he left. He wanted so much to see his son before he left. The baby was born on September 25. God has answered this prayer and He will answer my prayer for the restoration of our marriage." (Michigan)

"As my American friends celebrated Thanksgiving, I tried to emulate them by counting my blessings too. While yesterday was also the anniversary of my divorce, I realized that I have much to be thankful for in spite of everything: God's grace and forgiveness to me, my health, good communications with my husband, happy and healthy children, a job and a home. I still hurt, but I still love. And that really is something only God could grant me. To Him be the Glory. (Hong Kong)

"My husband thought I said 'I love you' to him on my way out of a doctor’s appointment our son had. I had been praying in the waiting room that my husband would know I still love him. The Lord let him hear what was in my heart. This was a sign for me to keep praying and standing for the return of my prodigal. Praise the Lord." (Kentucky)

God is so Good. My husband had dinner at my house with our family. I am still fasting and praying, and I thank God for His hand softening my husband’s heart. We have not eaten at the same table in couple of years and it felt right and good, as God always planned it to be. (Michigan)

"I am happy to let you know that my husband has told me he is home to restore our marriage completely. Just to prove that God can do immeasurably more than we can ask or hope for, my precious husband has now told me he loves me and that he thinks the world of me. Thank you Lord Jesus, for Your blessings. I give You all the praise and glory." (Canada)

"While doing my Bible study homework, the Holy Spirit made it clear to me that Satan was the cause of our marriage separation. I was surprised because I thought that my husband’s problems from his childhood were the cause. Through prayer and perseverance, we now have a blessed restored marriage, have both accepted Jesus as our Savior, and grow stronger in our marriage and in Christ each day." (New Mexico)

"I praise and thank God for adjournment in divorce court last week. May my husband and thousands of other prodigals have that Damascus Road experience and soon be home to their spouse, children, and to their God." (New York)

"In recent weeks my prodigal has been opening up to me about events in his family. He has been coming to me to vent. I know this is our Lord God putting me in his mind when something happens. Glory to God. Today I put my arm around him and told him I would keep his family in my prayers and he returned the hug. For the first time in a long while I felt his arm around me. Thank You, Jesus." (Mississippi)

"My wife has not spoken to me for about a year. Last Saturday she got out of her vehicle and spoke to me. After she picked our kids up I was waving goodbye. My kids did not notice but my wife did and she waved back. These are things that she has not done for a year or more. God is softening my wife’s heart." (Nebraska)

If Charlyne and Bob had not been through their trials, would Rejoice Marriage Ministries be the effective ministry it is today? My situation sent me to prayer and God's Word as never before. This gave me the boldness to help lead my mother to salvation before her death last month. (Arizona)

"I had prayed for God to send a laborer into my husband’s path. He doesn't exactly travel in the circles of church people. Someone invited him to church and he went. He asked if he could come and visit and we had a very nice time. He asked if he could come back next weekend and I said yes and asked him if he would like to go to church with me and he said yes. Just a short time ago he couldn't even look at me or consider ever being together again but now he is mentioning it and the thought of him going to church again is a miracle. God answers prayer." (California)

"When my young children asked their dad if he was coming home, he said maybe. What a change from saying no. Our young daughter also asked her daddy if he was going to sleep-over at our house because we still had his pillow. Out of the mouths of babes. God is moving. The other woman has moved back home with her family." (Florida)

"I want to praise the Living God. My husband sent money to assist with our son’s operation. I was trusting the Lord for a miracle. God is softening my husband’s heart and I want to thank the good Lord." (Georgia)

"Charlyne made the comment that many standers have wonderful pictures from their children's weddings and she was right. (My husband) and I are kneeling at the altar side by side. The picture of us from behind taking communion together is more valuable to me than any picture of us from the front." (Texas)

"I had a mole on my eyebrow that started growing. It became a very large bump and was still growing. This happened in just a couple days. I went to church Wednesday night and asked the people to please lay hands on me and pray for healing since I didn't have health insurance. From that day the mole started shrinking, growing darker, and just two weeks later it fell off! I now only have a spot of pink skin where it was. Praise the Lord." (Michigan)

"I was blessed to talk with my prodigal via instant messenger for more than two hours one evening. God is moving." (Indiana)

"I went through the worst year of my life last year, but also the year that I have become so close to Jesus. He has assured me that my marriage will be restored time and time again. I have asked for specific signs and He has shown me. Following your words of following God and not what other people say to do, I am able to stand with my head held high, knowing that I am a child of God and still able to do His works. It has taken a while but I am able to greet my wife with a smile and a hug to let her know that I still love her no matter what she is doing. It is a strange feeling, but I feel that she is comforted by coming to the house and being near me. Praise God for what He has done, for what He is doing and for what He has yet to do!" (Ohio)

"Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, "We have seen remarkable things today." Luke 5:26

“I have a new job and within a month I was promoted. Last night I prayed that I wish I knew my husband was OK and not homeless. Today on my break, I saw him and he appeared to be fine. He was just down the street from me. I know God is working because He answers even the smallest of prayers. I know we will be together in His time, not mine.” (Oklahoma)

"My wife, who divorced me, called to wish me a Happy Father's Day. She even bought me a gift. Needless to say I was stunned. God is softening her heart." (Texas)

"I work in a city 30 miles from where I live and have to drive through the county where my spouse lives each day. I saw a vehicle similar to one that my spouse drives, about to turn onto the same street as me. It was my spouse and another person, I assumed was the other woman. I have a Rejoice bumper sticker on the back of my vehicle. I never dreamed it would be my spouse and the other woman seeing it. I tried to go slower without being obvious. I had been praying the Lord would allow me to have positive contact with my spouse before my birthday. What could be more positive than that? Praise the Lord." (Missouri)

“So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth. “I hate divorce,” says the Lord God of Israel.” Malachi 2:15-16

“We are divorced. My husband refuses to go to church. My son wanted to attend a men's only meeting at our church and I could not take him since I am not a man. My husband took him. My prodigal would not tell me anything about it when they returned, but that it was a good message. My seven year old son told me that they asked if anyone was not 100% sure they were going to Heaven. Praise God my son said that my prodigal raised his hand and went to the front of the church and prayed with the pastor. All the glory goes to God. My son was getting angry and losing faith. He needed to see that most of all. God is good.” (Michigan)

"I watched 7th Street Theater Sunday night and cried with joy the whole time. The show was about prayer and marriage restoration. The man in the skit was discouraged about God not answering his prayer and getting bitter against God. I know what that's like. He was encouraged by another Christian. He told his wife that he had forgiven her and still loved her. God had answered both their prayers." (Wisconsin)

"My husband asked me for dinner at my favorite restaurant and told me he broke up with the other woman. He said God has been speaking to him about our marriage. Praise the Lord who is softening his hard heart! I will wait on the Lord. He is mighty to save." (Washington)
