“PTL! My testimony today is to give all praise to my Lord and Savior. I have been in prayer with RMM for some years. I don't even remember how I found this site, but I thank the Lord I did. My lawyer called my husband and told him that the paperwork had been prepared, and all he needed to do, was come by his office and sign them. To this date, he has not signed those papers. All praise goes to my Lord and Savior. Praise God, He made a way for me, out of no way! I trust in God, that my suddenly will happen, not my time but His alone. Keep praying and loving the Lord no matter what the circumstance you see!” (Louisiana)

“My mom and I have been praying for her marriage to my dad for years. He lived in another state for five years, but last week he came home and got a job. They are not back together yet but God is working. My dad said he would never come home. Thank You GOD! Do not give up on God. P.U.S.H. - Pray until something happens!”  (Tennessee)

"The LORD's grace and mercy have sustained me in a weary land. Recently my spouse, other family, and friends joined me to celebrate an important milestone in my child's life. My spouse and I got along fine. He even phoned me after getting back to his home to let me know he had arrived safely and to thank me for planning the celebration. Several days following the event I plunged into the valley of confusion, revisiting the concern of 'how long, O LORD shall I wait.' But that very day the LORD encouraged me, first with the thank-you phone call, and out-of-state licence plates (two on the same day), and scriptures. I'm clinging on to our LORD for encouragement. I especially need His help with my refreshed observations of the particulars of our "crazy cycle" (see Dr. Emerson Eggerichs: Love & Respect). My God is able to save."  (Canada)

"My husband and I have been separated with no contact. The Lord placed it in my heart to pray for our marriage to be restored. I prayed, fasted and asked my church to pray in agreement. We have been dating for months. I'm believing God for a complete restoration. There is nothing impossible for Him." (Illinois)

"Our son went to his dad's house for the weekend to celebrate Father's Day with him. Totally unexpectedly my husband rang and said he had prepared some food for me and wanted me to come and get it. We ended up enjoying Father's Day as a family! PTL! I know that God is removing the heart of stone and replacing it with one of flesh."  (United Kingdom)

“I am a prodigal turned stander. In the beginning I did not know I was standing. I had been reaching out to my prodigal almost every day and being rejected over and over. Finally, I get it, no fleshly attempts will win my spouse back. So, I stopped reaching out and I asked God for a sign that this was the right path I had taken and He gave me one. I praised God for answering me and most importantly I thank God for being faithful, for I know when my husband returns home (and he will), it will not be by my hand but it will be by the Mighty Hand of GOD. PTL for He is faithful. Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. Standing with God for my marriage restoration.”  (Michigan)

“PTL! A few days ago my husband came home. It was completely ‘suddenly’ as I had received an e-mail from his mom saying he was spending Thanksgiving with the OW. We were also scheduled to have a phone conference with the judge tomorrow- but she is sick and had to reschedule! I don't know what the future holds- but I know WHO holds our future and it is good! I have so many promises and signs from God it fills several pages of my journal! I am trusting God and leaning not on my own understanding. Whenever I start to fear, I rebuke the devil and remember that this battle is not mine- but the Lord's! PTL! Thanks and glory be to God and thanks to RMM!”  (Minnesota)

“’...to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’” Acts 26:18

"I don’t know how many times I told God that I couldn’t do it any more. Every time He picked me up and carried me until I could again walk the road to marriage restoration. I am reminded of going through child birth. Many times I would tell the doctor that I needed to stop. It was just too hard. As soon as that precious baby was born I was grateful that I had not quit. Now instead of a baby, I have a precious new husband." (Oklahoma)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“I'm so encouraged today by testimonies from standers who, like me, have long stands and are not giving up. Though I've heard of nothing in the physical that has changed in our circumstances, I know that God is at work in the heart of my husband and of the OW. I'm praying for each to be returned to their own people and to be saved. God has put it on my heart that when He brings (husband) back to me as He has promised, the number of intervening years will not matter as measuring time is a manmade concept. I am soaring above the storm on God's mighty wings of love, so thankful that He has brought me to love Him as I never could before all this happened. Praise God who knows the end from the beginning.” (England)

"I was doing my devotional time when I asked God to let my husband call me and right when I finished the devotional, my husband called. I have been standing in agreement with the Steinkamps about breaking the walls of silence. My husband has continued to call me, and my father-in-law called me also. I know only God could do this after a divorce on paper." (Oklahoma)

“I would just like to thank God for moving and working in my life and my family. I feel His presence here and I know He is working in my husband's life too. God is good all the time. Please believe in the power of prayer because there is power in it. Prayer changes things. My rhema song for my stand is, ‘I Want You Lord to Walk with Me.’(Mississippi)

"God opened the door for my husband and me to begin communicating. He shared how bad things are between him and the other woman. He invited me to celebrate a family birthday. We had a wonderful day and ended the night praying together. A week ago it felt hopeless. Praise God, in the twinkling of an eye He can change a prodigal's heart." (Michigan)

"My job is physically stressful. At break time I bought a cookie but it got stuck in the vending machine. After a brief minute of frustration, I counted my change and called out loud, 'Lord, I need 20 cents, please.' Three feet away under the coffee machine was a quarter. Thank You, Lord. I was able to buy another cookie and received both. I apologized for my lack of trust. The Lord will restore my family." (Oregon)

“I asked God to show me a sign the other day that my husband was coming home. Today I got that miracle. I was talking to my husband on the phone and he was ending the call and he said he loved me. He played it off like it was an accident but we both got a chuckle out of it. God was speaking through him, and restoration is on its way. Thank You Jesus.”  (West Virginia)

“Following Saturday’s testimony about a dead rosebush coming back to life, I'd like to share about a sunflower in my garden. When I got back from Rejoice on the Road, Ohio, this plant had totally withered in the heat, even though someone had been in to water, it looked completely hopeless. Instead of giving up on it though, I continued to water it as it slowly recovered. Now, almost a month later, it is just about to flower! Praise God for His encouragement and these small glimpses of how He works in situations the world has called dead. Just like mine, your marriage may have been proclaimed dead by the world...but God! Out of His glorious riches He will provide though we don't understand what is happening or what we need. Trust Him.”  (England)

"Last week my prodigal husband texted me to invite me to a movie after months of separation. Instead we ordered in and watched a movie on our old sofa like the old days. He agreed to go to church with me when I return from a business trip and start couple’s counseling after that. I know The Lord spoke to me about our marriage and God’s will for us. I know that He is working on changing us both on the inside that we may finally have the marriage He always intended for us. Trust and believe He is working on the heart of your prodigal even if you are apart. Forgive and love your spouse as God loves us and He will bless you.”  (New York)

"Praise the Lord because He is mighty. My prodigal told me that he realized how much pain he did to me and that his children are first because he loves them. I told him I loved him and that there is no barrier for him to come home if he wants. I praise the Lord for the good weekend He gave the children. God is working." (Netherlands)

"I praise the Lord for He is working in a mighty way. I recently was able to go on a week vacation with my husband. Although he is not home yet, I believe that God is softening his heart. My Heavenly Father will bring my prodigal home in His perfect timing." (California)

"When my young children asked their dad if he was coming home, he said maybe. What a change from saying no. Our young daughter also asked her daddy if he was going to sleep-over at our house because we still had his pillow. Out of the mouths of babes. God is moving. The other woman has moved back home with her family." (Florida)

“I am SO amazed at God's answers to prayer. Recently my husband has expressed concern for our children after many years of showing little interest. He is beginning to communicate with our daughter on a more personal level - something he has never done before. At the same time God is giving our daughter the strength and courage to communicate honestly with her father whom she dearly loves. I know God is turning my husband's heart back to both our children. Praise be to God for His incredible promises and His faithfulness. God is softening my husband's heart and I know He will restore our marriage according to His promise.”  (Minnesota)

“While we wait on God's timing my children are learning to pray, at young ages. They are really praying, waking up in the middle of the night and saying, ‘Let's pray for Daddy.’ I praise God that they are learning now that the battle is a spiritual battle, that we do not war against flesh and blood. My son said he is so calm because God will do what He promised, God always wins. My daughter says Jesus almost has Daddy's heart. Look what the Lord has done!”  (Guatemala)

"God is turning my husband’s heart home. The days that He promised me is finally here. My husband bought me a new phone, helped in dinner preparation and we spend time together." (Singapore)

“‘For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.”  Luke 15:24

At a retreat for students, I participated in an ice-breaker where I was given a card with the beginning of a scripture verse and had to find the person who had the card that completed the verse. The words "stand firm" stood out. The verse was Galatians 5:1. God does speak to His people." (Trinidad and Tobago)

"I was having a down day, questioning God silently about my stand and eating cereal with my young daughter, when suddenly out of the blue she crossed her arms and declared, 'I'm waiting.' When I asked what for she responded, 'I'm waiting for Daddy.' Thank You Lord for your affirmation and encouragment." (New Jersey)

"...'I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'" Acts 26:17-18

"My husband and I separated and he has filed for divorce. This past weekend we took our kids to church for the fall festival. We had such a wonderful time and he stayed the night. I know God is moving and working on my husband to bring him home. Thank you so much for your encouragement. God is truly blessing me in so many ways." (Louisiana)  A Bobservation - On the same weekend the Ministry sponsored an activity at a church school in South Florida. I could not understand why God wanted the Ministry name on a rock wall climb until reading this testimony. Now I wonder how many prodigal husbands and wives stood by that sign while their child attempted to climb. (Maybe next year I could volunteer for the dunk tank under "Dunk A Prodigal.")

“God is so good! My prayer used to be God please change my husband, but it became God please change me. And God has. It has been painful and heartbreaking at times. But God! I have seen so many Swift trucks and Covenant Transport trucks recently that it has amazed me! Today my husband is on his way back with his things! I stand amazed and in awe at the God I serve and the love He has for me! He is amazing! Don't ever quit standing for your spouse. God does above everything we could ever want or ask for. I praise His name! Thank You dear Heavenly Father.”  (Oklahoma)

“God is moving mountains this week. I am so thankful for His scripture. I know this isn't really a testimony but I wanted to share a scripture that explains exactly what we are as standers. It opened my eyes to exactly what God wants us to be. We are to be soldiers! The passage is too long to include here but if you could please share with fellow standers I hope that it helps them as it has me. 2 Timothy 2.”  (Texas)

"Praise the Lord, I feel so blessed. My Internet is disconnected and I am unable to read my email or listen to 'Stop Divorce Radio' as I'm used to doing, but today God worked it out that I have access to the Internet. My soul is encouraged and my faith is lifted." (Jamaica)

God somehow always comes through with sustenance, hope and encouragement. I never had the courage before but today I was given the opportunity to share books with my prodigal husband, including Bob's 'Finding the Way Home.' Perhaps I just needed to wait for God's perfect timing. My husband said he would read them. God is restoring our marriage. Praise the Lord." (Vermont)

“I just want to thank the Lord for showing me His goodness and mercy! The Lord has healed my back and hip. The doctor's gave me a report of a torn disc. BUT GOD healed it! He also answered our prayers for allowing me to return to work even though there are many federal employees who are still out of work. He is faithful even when we are not!”  (Virginia)

"More than 4 years ago my prodigal spouse came home. He left our home to pursue a life with another woman, but God had other plans. My prayer through our storm was, of course, that God would restore our marriage on the Solid Rock of Jesus, but also that He would one day use us both to help others in hurting marriages. About 3 weeks ago that prayer was answered. I now work at my church and my husband and I have been given the trust and opportunity to counsel with couples. Please pray that God would show us what He wants in starting this ministry at our church. Never give up!!"  (Texas)

"Last fall we had our first hearing, then more through the winter to reach a settlement agreement. Finally we were to go to a hearing in May. It required a postponement. Last week my husband came to talk and said he was putting the divorce on hold and is helping with financial issues." (Pennsylvania)

“Praise The Lord! The divorce between my husband and myself was scheduled for this week, but his lawyer requested that it be postponed for the third time. Although there is still no communication between my beloved husband, I know God is working to restore our marriage. I had plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! We are now scheduled to divorce next year, but I will continue to pray in faith and wait on the Lord and His perfect timing.” (Texas)

“Praise God for your ministry! I saw six Covenant Transport trucks in one day. I was so grateful for this sign of encouragement. ‘God always gives His best to those who leave the choice to Him.’ Love and blessings to the Rejoice Marriage Ministries family.”  (Delaware)

Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever.  Psalm 136:4 (NLT)

“We often read about the Lord is at work on the other side of the mountain. In Job 9:5we are reminded of this:He moves mountains without their knowing it.’ What encouragement as we standers read promises from His Word! Another Scripture that really encouraged me recently is from Isaiah 28:16-22. For those prodigals who are in non-covenant relationships the Word lets us know from verse 18 that, ‘Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the grave will not stand...’ Jesus did come to destroy the works of the evil one. He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.Isaiah 40:23. Thank You Jesus, You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!”  (Australia)

"Praise God, my prodigal who has not spoken to me in a month finally softened a little this weekend. He bought groceries and spoke to me this morning. I have been praying and believing for the Lord to soften his heart as in Ezekiel 36. I thank God that even in this hopeless situation His power is above everything. I know the Holy Spirit will move in his heart and convict him of his need for Jesus." (Kenya)

"After no contact with my wife in over a year, I asked God for a sign. My wife texted me two hours later. After two years her heart is finally changing. God does answer prayer." (Canada)

"Yesterday my husband texted me and asked if he could come by tomorrow after work to pick up the mail and for us to talk. My mind went almost to the negative thinking but, I stopped it and prayed that if he was going to talk about divorce that the Lord would change his heart before he walked through our door. This morning I awoke around 3:30 and could not go back to sleep. I got up and made coffee and got on the computer to read Charlyne's devotional. Praise Jesus, her devotional was 'Start Rebuilding Your Foundation.' My Husband is coming Home. Jesus, Jesus, Blessed Jesus." (Oklahoma)

“PTL! The first hearing date agreed upon by our attorneys was moved from January to February. I know The Lord answers prayers. I'm am continuing to prayer for my prodigal husband, both attorneys, the judge, as well as for myself. I am believing that my on-time God is restoring my marriage and family and canceling this divorce in Jesus’ name! Proverbs 21:1The king's heart is in the hand of The Lord; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.  (Mississippi)

“My mother has been very supportive. Although she is not so much of a hugger, she prays for me and my children and that's more important. She fasts with me and she knows how hurt I am sometimes. That’s when she prays harder for us since both my mom and my dad considered my husband as another son. I'd like to thank God for her and for me not having to face all this on my own. Happy Mother’s Day”  (Mexico)

"I am a stander whose spouse left several times, but is now home for good. God is restoring all. This week I went into complete heart block and by the doctors' words I shouldn't be alive, but God held my life in His hands and did what He promised in the above scripture. He is faithful." (Missouri)

"Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things...Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains." Psalm 107:8-9,13-14

“My husband asked if I would be going on a trip with our daughter's school. He wants to take days off to attend and asked if we could ride together. He left the hotel reservations up to me. Praise God! He has turned my husband's heart of stone to a heart of flesh. I have been standing for years and have always been kind and loving towards him. I am thanking God in advance for directing my path on this trip. Never stop standing. Never stop praying.”  (Texas)

"I was having a bad week in my stand, feeling discouraged and not in touch with the Lord. I was on my way to a friend’s when I stopped at a red light and looked at the license plate of the car in front of me. It said 'Restore.' I took a picture with my phone and now the picture is my desktop background. It reminds me that God will restore my husband to Himself and He will restore our marriage. God is so good. I just have to have my eyes open to all the signs." (Georgia)

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. Psalm 126:5-6
