“Praise the Lord, for His grace is everlasting! I recently signed my divorce papers thinking it was something the Lord was telling me to do. But soon after I spoke to a friend and she told me if this is the peace you where seeking then OK, but after that I could not sleep. I never submitted the papers. I received a letter from my husband’s lawyers for a pre-trial, but today I received a motion for withdraw from his lawyers. This is the second time the Lord has stopped the divorce proceedings. Even though I have not heard from my husband, I heard my Lord loud and clear! He isn’t done with me just yet! I now understand why, when I signed the papers, the Lord lead me to the fight between David and Goliath. He will fight for me; all I need is to be still and stand!”  (Illinois)

"I have peace despite chaos around me. My friend has started coming to church with me. I am getting a promotion with a raise and there has been a sign of my beloved's softening heart. I do not have adequate words to thank my Lord." (Vermont)

"God is moving mountains and softening my husband’s heart. My husband is beginning to show concern to me. I thank GOD for his grace for me to stand in the gap for our marriage and to be the wife He wants me to be." (Singapore)

“When my husband left is when I found God again. I pray just about all day, every day for the restoration of this marriage. I begged my husband to come back, but I knew I had to be still and trust God and His timing. Two days ago, my husband came by to see our daughter. He told me he wanted to be a family and wants God in his life and our marriage! I was so excited! There is still pain and I know that if God can forgive him, I will too! I'm erasing all negativity from my heart and mind so it will not hinder the restoration process. God works miracles! Praise His Holy and Precious Name! Amen!”  (Louisiana)

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”  Ezekiel 36:26

Praise the Lord! My husband and I have been separated many years. About three weeks ago my husband made it clear to me he wanted a divorce. This broke my pride and had me call out to God. I found this website and started standing. I am now loving my husband into the kingdom of God as I should have been years ago. I started going back to church, joined a Bible study and am tithing, believing God can move this mountain. The Lord called me to fast a few days ago and said it would be a rough few days. By the end of the first day God told me to call my mother. She and I haven't had a relationship in almost eight years. I didn't want to do this and begged God, ‘Please no!’ I ran to the Bible for comfort and opened to Proverbs 23:22 ‘Do not despise your mother when she is old.’This broke me and I called her immediately. A few minutes after I got off the phone with my mom, my husband called and said to forget about the divorce and continue what I'm doing. I obeyed and God blessed me! PTL!” (California)

"Praise God who all honor and glory belongs. I had not seen or talked to my husband since we separated months ago. I joined the Fast 24 team but the Holy Spirit had me extend the fast. The next day I got up and said enough is enough and went to my husband's mother’s house. He came by, we embraced, cried and talked. He lives with a woman. The devil is a liar. In the name of Jesus that relationship is broken and my husband is coming home delivered. I believe, Hallelujah!" (Alabama)

“I have been reading your daily devotions and standing, waiting for my wife to stop the divorce for some years . We are three weeks from the final court date. My wife came by tonight and said she wants to call off the divorce. Praise God!”  (Maryland)

“Our divorce has been dismissed! My prayers have been answered! Praise God! I got an e-mail from my attorney and he said the dismissal papers were signed. He said my husband could always change his mind. I said he will not because God has done this! My husband is going to need LOTS of prayers... the roadwill not be easy for him or me but together with GOD and LOTS of prayer and support we can do this. Then today as I was driving to my daughter’s home, I saw a Covenant Transport truck, and it was being followed by a Swift truck! I was thanking  our Heavenly Father the whole time.”  (Oregon)

"I have seen God work wonders in my life and the lives of those around me. Six members of my family were saved this past year and I am still expecting God to move in my beloved's heart in His time." (West Virginia)

“I praise the Lord. My husband told me today that he does not love the other person. He loves me. My Lord is bigger than our circumstances. Please keep believing, praying and fasting.”  (Uganda)

“I just want to thank and praise God for his perfect timing. Yesterday, I cried out and asked God if I was really doing His will by standing for the restoration of my marriage. Last night after my 11-year-old and I prayed together, he said, ‘Mom you know what?’ Not knowing what he was going to say, I said, 'What?' He said, ‘When you make your vows when you get married you not only make a promise to each other, but a promise to God and part of that promise is for better or worse and right now, you are in the worse.’ Then this morning as I was driving to work I saw a Covenant Transport truck. Never, never give up. God knows everything we need and just exactly when we need it. THANK YOU FATHER!”  (Texas)

"I have seen 'Fireproof' five times. I am making sure those I know who are in marital distress will see his movie, even if I must drive them there. Last week, the drive was 52 miles each way to take a person to the movie." (Texas)

“In Jesus’ Name I refuse to give up standing. That is why I appreciate the testimonies I read on Saturdays. Very soon our SUDDENLY will appear! Satan, watch this space in Jesus’ Mighty Name- I will not give up on my husband. Greater is He that is in me than the worldly pleasures. Thank you for these encouraging posts - it keeps me praying and faithful to pray for our prodigals. Is anything too hard for our God?” (South Africa)

"I had dreaded Mother's Day, but it turned out wonderful. God was watching over me at every turn. My husband took the kids and I to lunch, then came over to the house and worked side by side with our oldest son doing some things that needed to be done. You never know when or how God will answer those prayers. Nothing is impossible with God." (Missouri)

“I've been praying, fasting and meditating on God's Word and for awhile we heard or saw nothing, I knew our Lord was working mightily in our marriage. Lately my husband has been very loving towards both our son and me. We have gotten very close and I'm praying that before the year is up, we get our suddenly. Thank You for the hope you give us standers and the guidance you show us in hearing and accepting God's Word and waiting on His perfect timing. All the praise and glory to our God for showing that He can and will restore dead and hurting marriages.”  (Texas)

"Come and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!" Psalm 66:16-20

...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31

“Today is my birthday and my prayer was for my husband to remember and call me to wish me a 'Happy Birthday.' I praise God because he just called. We have been apart for many years and have very little contact. This was answer to prayer and I continue to stand.”  (Ohio)

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Galatians 6:9

“I just found out my spouse took me off our car insurance policy in June. I’ve been driving the car and PTL He kept me safe. I emailed my spouse about this and he called me a few days later to ask if I had gotten insurance. We haven’t talked since May. This conversation went well. If my spouse had never canceled my insurance, he would not have called me. He was able to see another side of me he has never seen. All because he canceled my insurance. PTL!” (California)

“This last week the devil tried and tried to break me. I received a picture of my husband and the other woman in our home on our couch under our family's pictures. I didn't know what to do so I started praying to God for help. I also asked a family member for help. She said there is power in the name of Jesus. She gave me a name for Jesus she uses, Yeshua (to rescue, to deliver). She said say it out loud, the devil can’t stand to be around and has to flee. I started whispering Yeshua and before I knew it I was yelling Yeshua. It is amazing the power His name has. Now whenever I feel the devil trying to sneak in, I will just call out Yeshua and He will rescue and deliver me.”  (Nevada)

"The Charlyne Cares on Lazarus spoke to my heart. I have often referred to my spouse as my Lazarus when I pray. As I studied Lazarus a few months ago, I wrote this poem for my prodigal prayer that I say for him on a daily basis:

My Lazarus Lazarus in the tomb, in agony I wait.

The days trudge on without you, but I know it is not too late!

For I sent for my Jesus and He is on His way...

So, rest on my sweet Lazarus, and I will continue to pray." (South Carolina)

"PTL! I have not seen my prodigal husband in some months. He drove down today. He still said he was not coming home but did tell me that he was not planning on moving to be with the other person. He still has a heart of stone but our Lord Jesus Christ is working on him. I hope this will be the first of many testimonies about God healing my broken marriage. Thank you RMM."  (Louisiana)

"Yesterday I was in a panic over finances. Due to a bank fee, I was going to have enough money in my account to cover only one of the two checks I had written. I came home and kept praying. After several hours of fuming, I decided to put my energy to good use and went upstairs to clean my daughters' room. I laughed as I pulled a pile of papers out from under the bed and found the envelope that I thought I put in the mail last week that contained one of the checks. I intend on framing it to remind me that God will make a way." (South Carolina)

"My son in the service called last night. Coincidental it was right after I called the American Red Cross because his grandmother had passed away. They did not even confirm before he called me. It was so good to hear his voice. He drives the lead V-rig with the mine sweeper attached to it in the front of the convoy. He hit an IED the other day that blew the front off the rig. Praise God for the saving of my son’s life." (Oregon)

"This week my husband and I will celebrate three years of reconciliation. What an amazing journey this has been. We are also expecting our first child, something the doctors said would be impossible. All the credit goes to God, with thanks to Bob and Charlyne for sharing the truth when I needed to hear it." (Virginia)

“Praise God! Miracles abounded in court. I went to court ready for however things worked out: I knew God's will would be done and He would supply the words. My foes would flee before Him. God worked everything so I did not have to say one word, not even my name for the record! He struck through every complication with a bolt of lightning. And He took care of every single little detail, answering every single prayer and more. It was stunning. I had a new lawyer, new judge, new venue and did not know what to expect, but I trusted in our Lord. He had it in His hands telling me, ‘I am with you.’”  (California)

“’Ye though I walk through the valley of darkness….’ My court date was scheduled for Friday. Today I was notified it has been canceled by my spouse and he wants to go to mediation. I am exhausted of this stand, but know God has His plan. I know this is in God’s hands. I ask for my spouse to open his heart. I place all my faith in the Lord. I am grateful for this site to know I am not alone. I ask all standers to have faith and stay strong, breathe and know the timing is God’s time not ours. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!” (Texas)

“I have been waiting for my wife. I was starting  to feel discouraged and I felt my faith failing. I prayed that night for my wife, my marriage and I also prayed that God would give me a sign that I was doing His will and I wasn't just kidding myself. I went to sleep expecting a dream or something, but when I woke in the morning, there was no sign. I started to feel defeated. Then my cell phone notification sounded and I opened a daily Bible verse app on my phone. The verse for the day was Malachi 2:16. I just stared at it and thought it was a coincidence. I closed the app, but decided to reopen it to read it again, except the verse for the day was actually Psalm 50. It remained Psalm 50 all day. I know it is God's will for my marriage to be restored.”  (Pennsylvania)

“God is the God of restoration. I have been separated for many, many years. Now, due to financial reasons, we are getting divorced. But God has been faithful to tell me I am still to stand strong and pray for my husband and children to come back to Him. It is not about my marriage, it is about my family’s salvation. God is an awesome, faithful, husband. He has grown me and blessed me in so many ways over these last years. He has truly brought me into my Promised Land. It isn’t what I thought it would be but in many ways it is better. Praise my Lord Jesus!  Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.’ Psalm 37:3-5.”  (California)

Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints.  Psalm 149:1

“Praise God! Tonight I went to a monthly church event called Feed the Fire! The choir started with the song ‘He's Able.’ ‘Exceedingly Abundantly Above all, you can ask or think According to, power That worketh through you and me. God is able to do just what He said He would do. He's gonna fulfill every promise to you. Don't give up on God, cause He won't give up on you. He's Able.’ In the middle of that song a man walks in and stands next to my friend right in front of me and he looks at me and he looks just like my husband! At first I thought NO! Then I thought okay God, I hear You. The minister starts his sermon and it's on Job! I get prayed for twice and both spoke restoration into their prayer! God is good! And if I was not sure of His many blessings coming my way then, I am more than sure now! PTL! Continue to believe standers! Your time is coming!” (Washington)

“God is at work. Saturday morning I was feeling weary and down, missing my wife who didn't want me to call or text her at all. A month had gone by without me seeing or hearing her voice. So this Saturday morning, feeling helpless and hopeless, I asked God for help on my stand. Questioning if it was over, I asked Him to give me something, anything and not even a minute later I got a text from my wife. All praise is due. Thank You Lord for softening up her heart. I spent a couple of hours at her mother's and I gave them some presents I brought back for them. We talked and I could tell she enjoyed the chat we had. She said she is not my enemy. God is at work. in Jesus name, Amen.”  (Minnesota)

"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

“After many months of separation I do see the Lord working. My husband has not had the finances for a lawyer and he left the OW right before Christmas. He continues to pay all of our bills allowing my son and I to stay in our home. I feel like any plans my husband makes the Lord is having the final say. PTL! I have been crying out to the Lord for a restored marriage. I don't know how long this will take but I continue to trust the Lord.” (Florida)

“Praise The Lord. The Holy Spirit told me to call my husband and, despite my self-doubt, I did. My husband told me he is coming home tomorrow. All I can do is continuously praise God. I feel like a heavy weight has been lifted. Despite my negative thoughts and emotions, I kept on reading the Word and my daily devotionals. We are not perfect but look to God. He will make the impossible possible. Keep your faith and keep praying.” (Maryland)

"Today God gave me this Scripture; 'For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.' Proverbs 23:18. Praise God, He does speak to His people." (Florida)

"God has moved tremendously. My husband and I spent time with our pastor. Divorce is no longer an option and instead of making any decisions, my husband is focusing on his relationship with God. We talk more and my husband makes an effort every weekend to see our son. He is kinder, more affectionate and caring." (Florida)

"While praying this morning, I had praise music playing in the background. The words 'You alone are my heart's desire' caught my attention. I am striving to make Jesus my heart's desire and not my spouse. I started praying the words to the song and was uplifted. I was moved to read a certain devotional that I had not intended to read. The theme for that devotional was the song that had just moved me to tears. Thanks, Jesus, for teaching me how to recognize Your voice." (Arkansas)

"I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised so shall I be praised from my enemies." Psalm 18:1

"We had our final hearing. My wife asked to drive with me to court. I felt Jesus walking in front of me. Afterward my wife bought me lunch. God is working on her heart." (New Jersey)

“God is so good! My husband has been gone for several years and this Thanksgiving he drove over 1000 miles to spend the day with us. The enemy tried canceling the trip even as he was halfway here and tried to shorten the trip but praise God it never happened. We had a great day as a family. Hopefully the first of many holidays to come. This was a suddenly event since he decided on the trip only days before. Thanking God for a great holiday.”  (Tennessee)

"I received an mail from a friend across the world just to tell me they were still praying and believing. They also sent me a video of a restored, impossible marriage. I believe we all are involved in God's great purpose for marriages around the world for His glory." (Norway)

“We had a court date last week. Thank God, the judge didn't show up so they postponed it for two weeks. God is great!”  (California)

"There is nothing too hard for my God. After a few years of separation and threats of divorce the Lord has answered our prayers. My husband has been back home for a month. I thank all who prayed. Please continue to pray for prodigals." (Georgia)

“‘Let our lives overflow with thanksgiving for all He has done.’ Colossian 2:7. My heart is filled with awe at who God is and all He has done for my family! A little over a year ago, my prodigal married the OW and I didn't know what to think. But God! The week before I saw my first and only Covenant Transport truck and the day after he married, God gave me Numbers 23:19. After Thanksgiving this year, my mother-in-law called and told me the OW might be moving out and she didn't want me to marry anyone else. I told her I am standing for life and have been. This is amazing because God has restored the relationship with my in-laws and is bringing my prodigal home one day at a time. God is able to do the impossible and is always near! Amen!”  (Ohio)

"My sons and I have been praying for many months that our in-home prodigal would go to church with us again. This Easter, not only did he come with us, but his mom, whose salvation we have been praying for also, came too. PTL! It was a miracle, something only God could have orchestrated."  (Colorado)

“I am a fairly new stander and, through the mediation process, was forced to give up the home we built together. I got a phone call during a moment of panic about how I would be able to pay all my bills on a single income. That person prayed that God would bless me abundantly. The very next day I got two calls about two potential new clients for my business! God always provides in His perfect timing. Remain faithful to your stand for restoration, work on yourself, and He will provide a way for everything!”  (Kentucky)
