Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Psalm 107:28-30
Do you believe in the Word of God? Then, choose to believe the scripture above. The Lord is right there with you. He sees and knows your pain and the hurt you are facing. God is in control. Trust Him today.
I hope the scripture in Psalm 107 encourages you as you cry out to the Lord in your troubles. May you start praising the Lord as you read the sentence: He brought them out of their distress. I pray that you will come to know the Lord as your Protector and Deliverer. You can praise the Lord despite your circumstances.
Some of you face upcoming court dates, restraining orders, a lack of communication with your spouse, and other mountains to climb. Another person just found out that the other person is expecting a baby. There are many hardships.
Your Lord is right there with you and knows the circumstances. The Lord wants to touch and change both you and your spouse’s hearts to serve Him together. You are in a raging storm, and the waves seem like they are coming over you and your family to destroy you. May you stand on the promises in the Word of God. Remember, He stilled the storm to a whisper. Nothing is too hard for your Lord to fix in your marriage.
The enemy attacks marriages every day. May you be more convicted than ever before to pray for all marriages and for all prodigals who have been seduced, blinded, and deceived by the enemy. Pray that all churches around the world will speak the Word of God and call sinners to repent and turn from their sinful ways. That is what Jesus did every day and taught His disciples to do as well.
I always like to teach about Joseph in Genesis, who was rejected and abandoned by his brothers. He was alone, and there appeared to be no hope. But God never left Joseph and used him mightily to help his family several years later during a famine. A special scripture in Genesis 50:19-21 was one the Lord showed me when I was standing for Bob to return home:
“…Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children…”
God has a plan and purpose for your life. Allow Him to use you each day, regardless of your problems. Radiate your Lord wherever you go. You must walk in faith, believing that your Lord Jesus can mend, restore, and rebuild your marriage. You or someone in your family may have suffered a divorce. Your parents may be divorced. You can change history and make a difference in your life, your spouse, and your children by believing and standing in the gap for your spouse to come to their senses in God’s perfect timing.
I know that there may be a season where your spouse may be very angry or hostile, determined to divorce you, saying they will never come back. But today, remember the Lord’s mighty power and how God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for all sinners.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17
Lord, we pray for an outpouring of Your Spirit around the world, touching the hearts of those who have become hardened and disobedient to Your will and way in their lives. May You speak so loudly to them, that they will humble themselves before You and fear their Lord God. Lord, be with all the children who have felt rejection and pain due to one of their parents not being home. Lord, soften both spouses’ hearts to show them that You can rebuild and restore broken relationships, as nothing is impossible with God. Amen.
God bless,

NEW PODCAST RELEASED TODAY
Testimony of a Restored Marriage – Greg & Missy
We are bringing back this powerful testimony because its message is still needed today.
After ten years of marriage, Greg and Missy separated when Greg decided he was ready for a break. During that painful season, Missy realized their marriage had been built on unsteady ground instead of the solid rock of Jesus.
Listen as they share their testimony of restoration, how God changed their marriage, and what has changed since restoration. Stay to the end to hear Missy’s encouraging advice on remaining steadfast, even when God answers prayer in ways you did not expect.
We are also excited to share that later this summer, Greg and Missy will be joining us again for a new conversation on what God has continued to do in their lives and marriage.
