For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
Do you need to increase your faith today? Are you becoming weary? Have you stopped praying and interceding for your spouse’s heart to be transformed? It is not unusual for us to be contacted by a prodigal looking for help with their marriage. Sadly, sometimes those prodigals find spouses who have moved on with life.
Don’t give up on God. You must have faith in God and believe that He can move your mountain of circumstances. Don’t get mad, and stop praying. Who wins if you give up?
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6
You may feel that your faith is running on empty. I can remember crying and praying at the altar in our church with a very godly woman. June told me to believe in God and that He would bring Bob home. I was questioning, doubting, and wondering how the Lord could change all the circumstances I was facing at that very moment. June knelt at the altar and said “You only need faith the size of a mustard seed. Will you admit that you have that much faith?” “Yes,” I agreed. She said, “Good, now go home, read your Bible, and watch how God will increase your faith.”
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
While I was standing for restoration, I found out that I needed to know the Word of God. I needed to understand how people in the Bible had faith even when they were facing terrible circumstances. I needed the stories of great faith to come alive to me.
People like Noah, who, in holy fear, built an ark to save his family. Abraham was tested by faith and offered his only son Isaac as a sacrifice. But God was faithful even to Abraham and stopped him from killing Isaac and provided the ram suddenly. Take time to read about the faith of the patriarchs in the Bible.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
As you live by faith, you are not chasing restoration but Christ. You have an assignment. God is asking you to keep your eyes on Jesus, on His principles, and not listen to others who have given up on the sanctity and covenant of marriage.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” Hebrews 12:1-2a
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?…In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. James 2:14, 17-18
There is such great faith taught in the Gospels and such powerful examples of ordinary men and women needing the Master’s touch for miracles. The Lord often told the hurting men and women in the Bible, “You have great faith! Your request is granted. Your faith has saved you. Your faith has healed you. Your faith has made you well.” Matthew 15:28, Luke 7:50, Matthew 9:22, Luke 17:19
Are you walking in doubt, fear, and unbelief? Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to increase your faith by choosing not to believe the lies from the enemy who torments your mind with doubt and fear.
“…Do you believe that I am able to do this? Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” Matthew 9:28-29
Start today choosing to walk in faith, believing and trusting in your Lord for His divine healing touch on your marriage. Never give up on God!

Good morning. Thank you for this encouragement. Many times we are fearful, worry and our faith begins to waver however when those feelings come (and boy do they come!!) we need to dig deep and tell ourselves, God has got this! and believe, have faith, God’s got this!!
-He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.-Matthew 8:26
-Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.”
Matthew 9:22
-Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” -Matthew 19:26
