Fight for your Marriage

Ep 242 – Healing After Deep Hurt in Marriage

A painful marriage can leave wounds that affect far more than your relationship with your spouse. Rejection, betrayal, anger, and disappointment can begin shaping how you see yourself, how you respond to others, and even how you relate to God.

In this episode, Lori talks with Bruce Hebel about what happens when hurt takes root in the heart. Bruce shares how unresolved wounds can shape our thoughts and reactions, keep us emotionally tied to painful experiences, and keep us from walking in the freedom God desires for us.

You will learn how to recognize the deeper wounds beneath anger and resentment, why healing requires more than simply trying to forget what happened, and how surrendering those painful places to God can change the way you move forward.

Your spouse’s choices may have wounded you, but they do not have to define you. God wants to heal your heart, restore your peace, and help you live free.

I really enjoyed the podcast. I am going through hurt with my in house prodigal.
He mentioned a couple that divorced, married someone else, and they ended up remarrying. I know this is old testament, but I need an explanation for Deuteronomy 24:1-4. This speaks about the exact same thing.
