For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Psalm 139:13-17
God is all you need for your marriage to be restored. I pray that this new year you will seek the Lord to know Him personally. He loves you so much. He is right there with you and sees every one of your problems. He knows everything about you, your marriage, your spouse, and your family. You can never run from God. Pray that your prodigal spouse would understand that one powerful statement.
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. Psalm 139:1-4
You may feel alone, defeated, or rejected after Christmas and the New Year holidays. You are not alone! Do not allow the enemy to defeat you with thoughts of loneliness and fear. Remember who you are in Christ. Know that you are a child of the King.
Talk to your Lord every day, just as if He were your best friend. He is! Ask Him questions. Seek His will and way for His plan for your day-to-day activities and ask the Lord for His divine interventions.
Our prayer is that you will come to know your Lord in a way that you will have such a close, personal relationship with Him, you realize that He is all you need. Then, when you are facing difficult circumstances, you will feel the presence of the Lord and a peace that is beyond understanding.
There is such power in the Word of God. Learn the promises of God. Spend time in the Word.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13
Read in Genesis, Chapter 22, how Abraham was tested in obedience to what the Lord was telling him to do by sacrificing his only son, Isaac. Abraham had to reason that God could do anything, and he obeyed His God. Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, to God. He obeyed God and had faith in His mighty incredible power that his God could bring Isaac back to life!
Today, I pray that you will surrender your life to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, believing in the Word of God, and knowing that our God can restore and bring back to life your dead marriage.
When you start thinking about the magnitude of what these scriptures are saying, you can start praising the Lord that He is on your side!
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24
God created you and has a plan and purpose for your life. He is right there with you, so do not be afraid of what is happening in your marriage. Call on your Heavenly Father to defend and protect you from the enemy who is out to destroy your marriage. Learn to walk in faith and victory. Be comforted that your Lord knows all about your needs, your troubles, and your sufferings. Believe in the mighty power of the One who created the heavens and the earth.
… we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 1 John 3:20
