Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. Psalm 95:1-6
We have the privilege of singing praises to the Lord! Will you put aside all your pain and sorrow and worship God Almighty today? Psalm 95 calls us to worship and praise our Lord with our hearts.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. Psalm 29:2
As you begin your quiet time with the Lord, listen to praise music or read a hymn or praise song to your Lord, glorifying His Holy Name. It is an excellent way to settle your spirit as you prepare for time with the Lord. We need to worship our mighty, awesome God daily. There is nothing like worshipping our Creator to pull you out of a bad mood. Focusing on Christ reminds us of His power and His identity.

May you become a bold witness and be ready when the Lord opens the door for you to share with anyone how your life was changed when Jesus Christ became your Savior and Lord.
Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God. Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS, AND IS, AND IS TO COME.” Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:4-11
You will sense His presence, as our Lord inhabits the praises of His people. As I worked on this devotional, the song “Holy, Holy, Holy” played in the background. My 18-month-old great-granddaughter uses her limited vocabulary to ask her mom to play her favorite song. Even a baby is learning how to say, “Holy, Holy, Holy.”
These are the words that we will sing in Heaven someday. What a day that will be! The troubles of this world will be far from our minds, and the only thing we will care about is worshipping at the feet of our Lord.
My prayer is that you will learn to worship and praise God every day. Praising the Lord will transform your spiritual walk, and you will then always make time to worship your Lord and Savior. Please remember to pray for all prodigals around the world to surrender their hearts to the Lord today.
I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom…All your works praise you, Lord; your faithful people extol you. They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does…The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth…My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145:1-3, 10-13, 18, 21
