Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. Proverbs 3:7
Will you pray with me this Sunday that moms, dads, husbands, wives and prodigal children will confess their sins and repent, turning away from their sinful lifestyle? Lord, bring them home to You and back to their families!
Where are you today? You may be overwhelmed with the circumstances you are facing. It may feel like the Lord has abandoned you. He hasn’t. He sees you. He sees your pain. Seek the Lord for His divine healing touch today before the enemy torments your mind anymore and speaks lies to you to about marriage restoration.
Please don’t give up, but keep looking up to your Heavenly Father who knows the truth of your situation. He knows your heart and knows your desire to submit to His plan and purpose for your life and marriage. That is why you and so many other standers around the world are praying for God’s mercy and grace on your spouse, and thousands of other prodigal spouses and loved ones.
Lord, have mercy and grace on me and my husband/wife and all the prodigal spouses and their children. May all the prodigals hear Your voice and see the truth about the severe consequences of adultery and divorce. Lord, heal the wounded spouses who have been betrayed or rejected. Lord, help Your churches to become the lighthouses for all the marriages and family members who are hurting emotionally, physically and spiritually, going through divorce and destruction!
Let us all proclaim that Jesus is the answer to all marriage problems. Lord, give hurting couples the desire to restore and rebuild their marriages. Lord, may You touch the men of God every day as they open the Word of God to know that Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Word of God have the answer for rescuing and restoring marriages in spite of difficult circumstances. Thank You Lord that You teach restoration throughout Your Word. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
Will you join with me and many others to pray that our men of God will preach God’s Word and His truth so that many captives will be set free? Let our prayer today for all prodigals be: “Turn from your sinful ways!” God loves every sinner, and sent His only Son to die for every one of us! Let us pray that the men of God will not just tickle people’s ears, but pray that the Holy Spirit will convict every sinner of their sins.
The Good News of our Lord God is this:
“And if I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die, but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right — if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die. None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he will surely live.” Ezekiel 33:14-16
Pray that all prodigals will:
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. Isaiah 55:6-7
God does not want Sunday Christians. He wants each of us to have a personal relationship with Him daily. Are you growing in the Lord? Great!
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:7-9
Pray for a mighty harvest of souls to repent today and turn from their sinful, wicked ways. Pray that prodigals will accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives and then grow more in the Lord every day the rest of their lives. What a day of victory that will be for all sinners!
