Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Psalm 51:1-3
Do you believe in God’s power to help you love and forgive your spouse? I do! King David also knew the power of God’s amazing love and forgiveness as God forgave David of adultery and murder.
Psalm 51 is a very powerful scripture that you can pray with your spouse’s name in it. This is the scripture that King David prayed in repentance for his sins. I love this Psalm, as I know the Lord God restored the joy of His salvation back to my husband, Bob, which was a promise in Psalm 51. The Lord spoke to Bob more than once that He wanted Bob to share about God’s power in solving marriage problems.
Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow…. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me…Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you. Psalm 51:7, 9-10, 12-13
That can be our prayer every day. Cleanse me, Lord.
“Lord, I thank You that this is the day that You have made and I will rejoice in it. I pray that this is the day that You will be working in my husband’s or wife’s heart to speak to them so loudly that they are starting the thought process of restoration of our marriage. Lord, I thank You in advance that You are ready to destroy the Jericho wall of all the different circumstances and that my spouse will escape by sending Your warrior angels to set them free. I am waiting and expecting your miracle of marriage restoration at Your perfect timing. I praise Your Holy Name. Amen.”
Will you spend some time today seeking the Lord for a new Rhema word of direction or instructions for your circumstances regarding your marriage problems? God does speak to His children. Do not believe the lie from the enemy that He will not speak to you. May you have a very blessed Lord’s Day with the Lord showing you His plans and purposes for your life and marriage!
