I am praising the Lord that we are sending out an extra bonus of testimonies from standers around the world. To God be the glory! I know that having marriage problems is not easy, but God is moving in hearts and lives around the world!
Please stand firm, walking in faith, believing and trusting in the Lord’s mighty power. God is faithful to His promises. God is a God of reconciliation!
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12
“I am so amazed at how merciful our Savior is towards us. He always gives us comfort during our most difficult times. Earlier this year, I had to go to our divorce lawyer’s office to sign some papers. Divorce has been one of my biggest fears and I prayed against it. Unfortunately, things have not gone the way I wanted but I finally decided to surrender it to God and allow His will to be done. As I drove to the office, I had on a Christian station. I was praying and thanking God for this journey and proceeded to ask Him to play a specific song for me if my divorce wasn’t going to actually go through. I parked my car and honestly forgot I asked God for a sign. I had my phone in my pocket and, out of nowhere, the song I asked God for started playing. I couldn’t believe it! I went into the lawyer’s office with the biggest smile knowing my miracle is coming. For with God nothing shall be impossible!” (Massachusetts) Praise the Lord! God does speak to His children! I pray and talk to the Lord throughout the day! I pray that you will do likewise! If you are at work, ask the Lord for His divine wisdom or for new innovative ideas to help you to be successful in everything you do! This new year strive and develop a deeper hourly, daily walk with the Holy Spirit. Do not allow the enemy to steal your joy but know the Holy Spirit can speak and help you in every way! Try it and then share a testimony of what has happened to you personally! – Charlyne
“Each devotional I read here gives me more hope and strength each day! Today I can be thankful because my Lord has held me. I have food to eat, I am thankful for His care and for calling me His daughter! I desire with all my heart that He finish the work He has for me!” (Puerto Rico)
“The other day I was praying a hedge of protection over myself, my husband, and our families. As I’m praying, I see my vehicle from a bird’s eye view and angels in rank, surrounding my car, like a wall around me/my vehicle. About 20 seconds later, a car almost drove straight into my driver’s side. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and took a hard right into the parking lot that was right there. The thing is, I’ve only started driving again the past year after a brain injury and relearning to walk/drive again. I am praising Jesus for the protection, for the healing that’s taken place in my brain/vestibular system, so I saw the car, and healing in my reflexes and legs to act that quickly in a matter of seconds. So much to be thankful for and praise Him for! It also encouraged me and built my faith that He is hearing our prayers and answering them! Keep praying and believing. God IS working and moving on our behalf and on our spouse’s/family’s behalf too. He IS faithful! Keep walking forward.” (Canada) What a powerful and encouraging testimony for everyone! Have you been sick or have a loved one or a co-worker who has battling physical illnesses? The God of the Old Testament is Jehovah-Rapha, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26. Jehovah-Jesus is the Healer in the New Testament. Matthew 8:16-17. When we started in ministry, Bob and I had physical illnesses as the enemy was trying to steal our health! But God is greater. Jehovah-Jesus is our Healer. May I challenge you to start praying for the ones you know that are battling a variety of different illnesses! Pray for God’s divine healing touch on yourself and others. Let me share Matthew 8:14-17 below which is a powerful example of Jesus’ love. – Charlyne
When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him. When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” Matthew 8:14-17
“‘Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.’ Joshua 1:9. For the third time in as many days, I received confirmation of the Lord telling me to be brave and strong. I’ve read it in His Word, heard it from a relative and again at a prayer and praise service last night. God even sent a woman I do not know to pray with me at the service. She prayed I will continue to be brave and strong and referred to me as a warrior! He amazes me. I know He is working. He is softening the hearts of my adult children. I will continue to pray for their salvation along with my beloved’s. Let’s pray in agreement for the salvation of the souls of all our lost loved ones. He is faithful! It’s so true, He who is within me is stronger than he who is in the world! Nothing is too hard for our God! To Him be glory!” (Wyoming)
“Every time I have seen my husband, he has let me hug him! Sometimes it’s a halfhearted hug from his end; other times he hugs me like he actually misses me. The last time I saw him, he was having a bad day and just feeling angry overall. As he went to leave, I asked if I could give him a hug. I always give him a choice. He then leaned in and let me give him a hug! Later that night I felt prompted to call him to check and see if he was doing any better. Recently he hasn’t been answering his phone at all if I call him. He didn’t answer this time either but then called me back! This is a first in a long time. The conversation was short but it was clear that it meant a lot to him that I called just to check on him. God continues to teach me that my value and worth come from Him, not my spouse or anything else in this world. We can FREELY love our spouses no matter their response to us.” (Canada)
You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. Psalm 77:14
“Very early in the morning, I spent a lot of time in prayer. My husband is living in a back house, and I live in the front house. We are moving at the end of the month to separate places. That morning, I took my trash out as he was returning from taking the OW home. He offered me a doughnut, which I declined because I am diabetic. He said ‘Are you sure? I bought it for you.’ It may not seem like much, but I saw God at work because while he was buying doughnuts for the OW, he thought of me and brought me one. Praise God!” (California) Praise the Lord, this husband thought of his wife and brought her a donut! I believe the Lord spoke to him to do it and he was obedient! Please keep praying and believing for the Lord to speak to your spouse in so many different ways, that they surrender their heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ! Pray for their salvation daily! Also go to our website and pray the many different prayers that are there. Then when you have time, start writing some of your own prayers with some scriptures in them! Walk in faith, thanking the Lord daily what He is doing on the other side of your mountain! – Charlyne
“What you teach about marriage covenant and standing for marriage is true. Especially about what is happening on the other side of the mountain, what it is really like for the prodigal and the stander, false starts, suddenly moments, restoration, etc. Keep up your ministry work and standers, stand firm. Great good is happening from this Kingdom work defending the sanctity of marriage. Marriages are saved and restored, people come to Christ and are encouraged and strengthened in faith, and the popular culture of death is challenged by a Christian culture of life. The world has nothing better to offer than what God has to offer. Nothing is impossible for Him. Trusting in God will never put you to shame. God works all things for the good of those who believe and for His glory. God spreads a feast table in the presence of your enemies. To live as a Christian is to be in the world not of it. Prayers for all.” (Vermont)
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Psalm 23:5 (NLT)
God bless,
I pray all the time. I pray against him marrying her. I think to myself “what will I do if they marry?”
Nothing but stay in prayer. What more can I do? There’s reasons for every moment in time and I am still in His eyes, the Lord has me! I will not break and shatter bc He has plans for me whatever and wherever I am, I am in His care.
i have commented often to my prayer partner that there are TV shows and news reports every day on the consequences of adultery. It’s tragic that they do not think ahead and ask the Lord for His guidance, and to fear Him bc it IS a sin!
I want to go to Heaven. I will not allow myself to doubt the Lord nor disappoint Him. I pray for restoration or Heaven in my future. There is nothing more!
