We are often asked, “How do I move forward, knowing my spouse has had a child with the other person?” We understand the hurt and confusion that surrounds that question. In today’s podcast, Charlyne and Lori sit down and tackle this sensitive topic.

This has been my struggle. Not being able to accept the child but, being able to accept that my husband left his marriage because of this child. He never gave me an opportunity, us an opportunity or more importantly, GOD an opportunity to show his power in our marriage. I battle daily that my husband and best friend left and hasn’t looked back. I’ve been left with more questions than answers. It’s by God’s grace that I haven’t lost my mind. I’m going through a divorce that I never wanted and didn’t file. However, I know that God loves me and will never leave me. This is all in His hands. I pray for everyone that’s had to endure this pain. I’m grateful that I found this ministry.
My husband has also had a child with the adulteress who knew we were married. She chose to become involved with my husband whom I hold totally accountable for the affair. However, she knew and still chose to have a child with him. She now taunts me with the child, weaponizing the baby against me and continues to harass. My husband does not put a stop to it but tells her all of my business. I have filed for the divorce that I too, did not want but felt I had to protect myself and our 2 children. My husband cut me off financially. I’ve had to get a job and endure continued harassment, court ordered restraining orders, lawyers, judges, and so forth. This has been taxing on my children and me. We (my children and I) have been ordered to see a therapist. I often come to this ministry seeking the hope I need. I often feel all hope is gone and that I just want to leave. However, whenever we are to meet to settle, my husband and his lawyer never shows up. We are still living in the same house, and it has been painful. Please pray for me and mine. We are a broken family that only God can heal.
