Restored and Redeemed

Has your marriage been restored? Restored & Redeemed is a devotional for those in a restored marriage.

Once a Stander, Always a Stander

“I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.”  Isaiah 42:6-7

I wish I could come to your home and pray with you. I wish that I could sit down for two or three hours and share from my heart all that the Lord has taught me since my restoration journey began.

I would tell you that even if your spouse is home, I understand their physical presence doesn’t always mean marriage restoration has taken place. I would also encourage you to never stop fighting for your family. The enemy will not be happy that your marriage is restored. That is the time to step up your prayers, not give up.

I would encourage you that you can stand up against the enemy and say, “Enough is enough! You cannot have my marriage any longer. You cannot have my children any longer. Satan, you are defeated. I demand you, and all your demons leave me and my family alone. Jesus Christ paid the price by shedding His blood on the cross and defeating you. I claim and stand on the promises of my Savior and Lord of my life.”

I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice”.  Ezekiel 34:16

Your Lord can continue the work He began in your marriage and deliver your spouse from adultery, gambling, alcohol, drugs, pornography, abuse, and any other sin. Nothing is too hard for the Lord.

Pray that your spouse will be obedient to the Lord’s calling their name to fully surrender to Him and your marriage.

“I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Luke 15:7

There is freedom in Christ. Every person who has opened themselves to the sinful nature can repent and be delivered from the bondage of sin.

May the Lord increase your faith and give you hope and encouragement as you continue to fight for your marriage. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you His principles and then apply them to your walk with the Lord. May the Lord continue the work of rebuilding and restoring your family. Don’t ever stop praying for your marriage. Once a stander, always a stander.

God bless,
