Believe in the Power of God to Heal
Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits–who forgives all your sins and heals all your disease, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion. Psalm 103:1-4
I want to share with you the of the power of our God to heal. He is an awesome, mighty God. I pray that you will deepen your personal relationship with Him each and every day the rest of your life. I pray that you will be able to pray Thy will be done for you and your family. He loves you more than anyone else in the world. He died for you. He is waiting for you to know Him in a new and deeper realm. He can heal you or your loved ones of illnesses. He can restore and rebuild your marriage on the solid rock of Jesus Christ. He can deliver loved ones who are in bondages of sin. Nothing is too hard for your Lord God.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy. Psalm 107:19-22
Each time Bob became ill, I went to the Lord and asked for His complete guidance. I surrendered Bob to the Lord and to His will be done in our lives. You need to totally surrender your life to your Lord daily. He knows what is best for each of us. If he allows anything to come into our lives, then it passed through His almighty hands. He will turn it around to good, or we will grow into more maturity in the Lord.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:1-5
I cannot emphasis enough the Power of God. I plead with all my heart for you to spend time with Him. Learn to recognize His voice. Ask Him questions and listen for His answers. He is your Heavenly Father, He speaks to His children.
Jesus answered, I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father’s name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, no one can snatch them out of my Father s hand. John 10:25-29
Many years ago, I did not know the enemy was out to steal, kill and destroy my family. I was a very young and immature Christian who did not know the Word of God. I had accepted Jesus as my Savior, but I had not surrendered my life to my Lord. This is a must for each of us.
Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10
Bob and I wanted to write this book to give God all the praise and glory for all that He has done for Bob and our family. We can never stop praising, thanking and giving God all the glory for all His miracles in our lives. The enemy does not like what our Lord God has done since our divorce. He does not like us or our ministry, but our God is greater.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
This last illness that Bob had, was truly the most serious and life-threatening. I for a moment thought it was over. I went by myself and surrendered Bob to the Lord and asked Him Thy will be done in Bob s life and in my life. Yes, it was hard and scary to pray that way, but what a peace that you will receive when you do it! He created us and He knows the best for each of us. Trust Him.
Bob and I can only say that because of what the Lord allowed, we know Him even better and His mighty power. We can share with others regardless of their circumstances and know that our Lord God can win the battles. We know this because of our past circumstances. So, we want to proclaim from the rooftops the awesome Power of our God.
I will exalt you, my God the king; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds. Psalm 145:1-6
The Lord will speak to you and direct your every step.
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3
Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5
Believe and claim the promises of God for you and your loved ones. Believe for the healing of your body and/or your marriage.
The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off–for all whom the Lord our God will call. Acts 2:39
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Are you willing to sacrifice your time and life to become a soldier of your Lord Jesus Christ s army? I believe with all my heart He is asking us to stand in the gap for our loved ones. He is asking you to become a prayer warrior. There is power in prayer!
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16
Some will never know until they get to heaven what they did not receive because they did not ask and believe.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
I pray I have given you a new excitement desiring to knowing your Lord. I hope I have given you a new hope for believing in miracles. I pray that you become a prayer warrior and spend much time in your prayer closet each and every day. Learn to pray the armor of God on you and your family. Plead the blood of Jesus over your family, home, finances, health, and career. Also, pray a hedge of protection for your loved ones. Personalize and claim scriptures for you and your family. There are many other weapons that can be used in the prayer closet such as binding, loosing, praying in the name of Jesus, pray with authority, and praise defeats the enemy. Prayer can move mountains of circumstances.
Our testimony is showing you His forgiveness of our sins, His love, His faithfulness and the Power of our God. He is no respecter of persons. What He has done for us, He will do for you and your family.
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Hebrews 10:35-36
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6
…But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us. If you can? said Jesus. Everything is possible for him who believes. Immediately the boy s father exclaimed I do believe help me overcome my unbelief! Mark 9:22-24
Lord, we pray that you will touch each person who reads these words to believe in the Power of God. May each one come to know You in a new way. May You meet and heal each and every one of the needs whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual in a supernatural way. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

I tell this one, Go, and he goes; and that one, Come, and he comes. I say to my servant, Do this, and he does it. When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith…Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go!
