For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
Are you praying for a breakthrough in your marriage today? Never doubt the power of prayer. I pray this Lord’s Day that you will strive to become a diligent prayer warrior for your marriage, for your children, loved ones, and others that the Lord brings into your life daily.
…The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16
Do not lose hope for marriage restoration. Never forget that your hope comes from your Lord God! You must depend on and trust your Lord despite any circumstances you will face throughout your life.
Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:5-8
When I started crying out for help to remove my pain after our divorce, the Lord planned for our marriage to be resurrected from the dead, but He first wanted me to change. He wanted me to learn many valuable lessons and truths, which meant learning principles in His Word that included having faith, hope, showing forgiveness, unconditional love, using the Armor of God, and weapons of warfare.
I know you are hurting as you go through your marriage problems. Be strong in the Lord. Be aware of the battles in your mind. You may be facing doubt, fear, and loneliness. Has the Lord spoken to your heart or given you different signs of marriage restoration, or has He revealed His truth about the sanctity and permanence of marriage in the Bible? If your answer is no, today read the Saturday Testimonies of how the Lord keeps speaking to His children.
Cry out this Lord’s Day, “Lord, speak to my heart and give me Your divine instruction on how to rebuild my marriage Your way.” That is what I did. I repented for my arrogance, anger, self-righteous behavior, lack of forgiveness, lack of faith, lack of knowledge of the Word of God, and lack of unconditional love for my husband. I chose to believe in my Lord, His power, and His Word, regardless of what anyone else was saying to me. By the grace of God, I had a spiritual breakthrough at an altar, as the Lord spoke marriage restoration to my heart in a church service. That day I chose to believe in my Lord’s mighty power forever for everything. Will you?
What kind of breakthrough do you need today? Do you need breakthroughs in your finances, employment, a new touch from the Lord, physical healing for yourself or a loved one, communication, or relational breakthrough with your beloved spouse, children, or other family members? Let’s pray in agreement for a breakthrough in every hurting marriage.
Pray for a breakthrough in your marriage where there is strong resistance to doing what God’s Word says and is morally right. Pray against the forces of evil that have attacked your spouse and thousands of other spouses and prodigal loved ones, taking them captive to do and say things that are out of character. They are blinded and deceived from God’s truth.
Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart…and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:22, 26
You need to be fervent in your praying, asking God to intervene in the circumstances with your spouse as only He can do. You need to pray with faith, boldness, confidence, tenacity, and perseverance instead of having doubt, unbelief, or disobedience. How are you praying? You can change today. Cry out to the Lord right now!
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Will you pray for a spiritual breakthrough for your beloved husband or wife who has fallen into sin or unforgiveness, choosing to leave their spouse to live a life of disobedience, not concerned about their eternal destiny?
God can and will deliver and rebuild people from the wrong choices and mistakes they have made. He allows them to have godly sorrow and repent, turning from their wicked and sinful ways. Never forget that God sent His only Son to die on the cross, shedding His Blood for all sinners to receive eternal life.
God is a God of love, reconciliation, and restoration. Our Lord God speaks to our loved ones in a million different ways. Will you pray for a spiritual breakthrough for your loved ones every day?
