Charlyne Cares

Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me. Psalm 13:5-6

“God is so amazing! God gave me a promise many years ago that He would resurrect my dead marriage. It was truly only a journey of faith that kept me believing despite what I saw. Throughout the last years, God has given me dreams and visions to help me to be encouraged and keep my faith. This summer God also restored my relationship with my mother-in-law. A few months ago, God told me that in a few months my husband’s heart would finally change, and it did! He began calling me weekly, discussing our previous marriage and how he didn’t want to try again. And then suddenly! Last month he called and said he wanted to try again because we are such close friends, and we might as well try. Praise God! He lives in another state, but we are spending our first holiday together soon and planning our first date.no matter how long it takes!” (Oklahoma)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

“Isaiah 40 and Isaiah 43. He speaks through His love letter to me as I divorced after many, many years. But trusting God through this decision, I have been standing. God has put what I say through the grinder, but I am very thankful for fixing me as I cried out with a heart of adoration and fasting. I spent many nights on my knees and in my closet, reading and letting His Word come alive in my heart. Forgiving my husband was painful, but God held me up and gave me peace. God is moving in my husband, letting him see things only God can do. Praise God. Whatever time you have, seek His heart. I have seen His eye, His face in a cloud and one day, while taking pictures, He gave me an image of the cross in blue the day before my divorce. May the Prince of Peace give you peace and strength. Love His Word that comes from the breath of God. Bless you.” (Florida)

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

“God is moving! I have been a faithful stander for several years, with my beloved telling me that we will never be together again. Suddenly, he texted me early in the morning and said, ‘The Lord put you on my heart last night to the point of weeping, and I am buying you groceries.’ He came over the next day with 10 bags of groceries, put them all away, then we sat outside in the front yard, like we used to do, for more than three hours. Charlyne prays often, ‘Suddenly, Lord, may the spouse return.’ And He did. I am continuing to stand, waiting for my love to come home for good. Thank You Jesus!” (Nevada)

“My husband felt God calling him to come home several days ago. We still have a long way to go but I am so thankful God led him home!” (North Carolina)

“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16

“A few weeks ago, after several years of separation, God gave my husband a Damascus Road experience. He was emotional all day, crying. It was like he looked at everything wrong he has done differently. He told the OW that he is not divorcing me and that he is coming back home to me and our children. Praise God! Although he is not physically back in the home, God is restoring our marriage. Since the breaking of that chain, the enemy is fighting hard! The OW has made things very difficult. But God is in control! God has already won! I pray this helps encourage someone that no matter how long or what happens, restoration will happen according to God’s promises to you. Defeat the enemy by keeping your faith in God, no matter what happens, because it will get extremely rough. Stay the course!” (South Carolina)

“Recently, as I was in prayer about some very big circumstances, I asked God simply, ‘Where is all of this leading?’ The verse that immediately came to my mind was Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV): For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. So, I took that as my answer from Him. When I got to work that morning and opened Charlyne Cares, that was the lead scripture for the day’s devotional. This I took as my confirmation! It never ceases to amaze me how He works in our lives, and I praise Him for surprises like that one!” (Nebraska)

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

“I just want to encourage you that EVERYTHING you read in your BIBLE is REAL. My situation was truly impossible with man. I mean, every single help from the angle of the flesh had failed woefully and mine was truly a hopeless situation. But God! Just like that, in the twinkle of an eye, with no help from man, that SUDDENLY moment Charlyne often talks about came through. The unexpected call from my prodigal came and my ears could hardly believe what they heard. One of the Rejoice devotionals said we should pray that testimonies pour in before the holidays. To be honest, it just didn’t seem like my testimony could make the cut. But God! But God! But God! God is real and a second is more than enough time for Him to turn around our stories. There is really nothing that He cannot do! Be encouraged because when Jesus says YES, nobody can say NO.” (Nigeria)

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27

God bless,

Charlyne
