Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.  Psalm 19:14

“Who is like OUR GOD?! It has been a few years since my husband listened to the continuous voice of the Holy Spirit, hound of Heaven, who was demanding that He return home! After the hills and valleys of those initial difficult weeks, God has given me an even better version of my husband than the one I married! He loves Jesus and has discovered Truth now. And friends, that makes all the difference. I give God all the glory because in man’s eyes, it looked impossible. Countless people told me it was hopeless or thought I was pathetic for hanging onto hope. What a testimony it has been to them! God fought my battle and all I had to do was love, love, love. Don’t give up! Like Charlyne said, there is someone better out there for you! It is your own husband submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ! Thank You, Jesus!”  (Alabama) Never doubt the faithfulness of our Lord who wants all sinners to turn their hearts and lives to the Lord! God wants to transform every person to become more like Jesus! Never stop praying for your loved ones’ salvations and heart transformations for all spouses. It will transform your marriage! Most of all, do not listen to your family and friends who do not understand God’s plan and purpose for every person and marriages. Nothing is impossible with God! – Charlyne

“I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.”  Ezekiel 11:19-20

“I was gifted Rejoice Marriage Ministries by our Lord and Savior several weeks ago. I knew something was wrong with my marriage since last summer, and I was tortured with not knowing. I prayed, asking God to expose whatever it was that was causing my husband’s behaviors. A few months ago, the other woman became known. I asked him to move out. A few weeks after he moved out, I found RMM. I have been a stander ever since. Most days I feel weary, but God keeps showing up. My prodigal has ‘shown up’ at the house a couple of times at 3 a.m. asking to sleep at the house because he’s tired. To which I reply, ‘Of course, this is your home.’ And I receive him lovingly. No questions asked, making him feel safe. Slowly God is bringing him home and continuing to transform my heart to that of Christ. All glory to God.”  (Illinois) I love reading and hearing testimonies of how the Lord speaks to us in showing how to become a better spouse and give us a heart to love our spouse as Jesus loves us daily! Lord help us to mature and grow in the Lord daily and be a lighthouse to others! – Charlyne

“Greetings and shalom in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My husband and I knew each other in high school but didn’t meet until we were adults. I did not want to pursue the marriage. I told the Lord that I did not want to marry him, and the Lord said that I will be the closest thing to Christ that he will know. After many years of being together, we experienced something very devastating between the two of us. I had to get a TPO put on him more than once. He came home this year only to leave me and our family later. I wanted to hate him; I wanted to discard the marriage; but we have a covenant. I will fight! He will return home.  (Tennessee)

“I spent Easter weekend with my beloved. BUT GOD. We enjoyed each other, did chores around his home, and feasted. Every day I turn to RMM and pray. My beloved has even acknowledged my faith. I am a new creature, and my beloved sees it. One day at a time on that sweet cross.”  (Canada) What a blessing for all of the husbands and wives who got together because of family events and were able to see each other and children on Resurrection Sunday or weekend! Only God knows what He was speaking to the prodigal spouses and putting Holy Spirit conviction in your spouse’s heart! I believe that the Lord was doing so much more than we all can imagine! Keep praying for your spouse to be obedient to God’s wooing and instructions. I pray that your communication will improve and be able to do more events with the whole family more frequently! Pray your spouse’s heart will be soften more each day! – Charlyne

“Many years ago, my husband said he wanted a divorce— a year and a half into our marriage. I prayed, many times with the hope and faith provided by testimonies here. After several months, God restored our marriage. As I write this, I’m grateful for the last many years. Today my husband has again asked to end our marriage. I am back to praying to God to restore our marriage once again and forever this time.”  (California) May we always be aware that the enemy will never stop trying to destroy your marriage in many different ways. Always be on guard regardless of your age or the numbers of years married! God created marriage to last forever!! – Charlyne

“I have been divorced for many years. I knew I was going to stand until I died. No one really agreed with me, and some made fun of me behind my back. The only one who stuck by me was my sister who is my prayer warrior. I always told my spouse that I was waiting for him, and he thought I was nuts. I live in our house and my spouse bought another house. He starting texting me and pursuing me about two years after our divorce. There have been many false starts in our relationship. He doesn’t talk of remarriage, but he has me listed as his spouse on many things and we still have joint bank accounts after all these years. I go back and forth between the two houses and will wait patiently upon the Lord. I am married in my heart and always have been so if remarriage doesn’t happen, it really has happened. I am just so grateful to be back with the Lord. His salvation is the most important thing right now. Jesus has this!”  (Maryland)

“My prodigal and I are divorced. However, the Holy Spirit prompted me to start praying with him and our children a couple of years ago. This was something we did every morning before sending our children to school, but I always led the prayer. When I was prompted to start this again, I prayed the first few times and then eventually asked my prodigal if he wanted to lead. Several times he said no but our family therapist convinced him that it would show our children unity. After that session I invited him to lead us, and he reluctantly said yes. He’s been leading us in prayer since then, even after the finalization of our divorce. Yesterday when we prayed as a family, he not only led us in prayer, but he prayed that we would stand up to the devil’s schemes. I trust that God is showing him who the real enemy is in this warfare.”  (Maryland)

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  Ephesians 6:10-11

God bless,

Charlyne
