Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13

“God has been moving in softening hearts. We have been communicating more now. We even spent Easter together as a family. After many years. Praise God. Thank You Jesus.”  (California)

But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent.  2 Peter 3:8-9 (NLT)

“Maybe you are like me and, at one time, were just thinking when your prodigal came home everything would be ‘okay again.’ Maybe like me, now you know the waiting isn’t just about having a prodigal come home. The Lord wants to use the waiting for us to pray for the salvation of all of our lost loved ones and the prodigals around the world. Sweet Jesus wants to use this time to prepare our hearts and homes for the homecoming of our prodigals. Jesus has softened my heart during my stand. The years have gone by, yet in my heart it seems like only days. During the years, God has provided for all of my needs! I’m excited to share with my husband when he comes home!”  (Florida) Thank you for being obedient to the Lord and becoming a prayer warrior for all your loved ones, friends and all the very precious prodigal husbands and wives around the world! Let all of us become a prayer warrior for all our current events! Prayer can change things! God can melt mountains like wax! Lord open all the prodigals spiritual eyes and ears to hear Your wooing and calling their name to flee from their detour road now of a sinful lifestyle in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen. – Charlyne

“After no communication between my husband and me for many years, God gave me the opportunity to talk to him when he came to visit our children in the UK from America over Easter. That in itself is a testimony. He however dropped the bombshell that he’s now remarried. I still got the chance to tell him that God told me he’s coming home. I was heartbroken for days after he dropped the children back home with me. Remarried when? How? God told me to trust Him. In it all I thank God for the testimony of communication between us. God is at work. I don’t understand it, but I’ve decided to trust Him wholeheartedly. God has been immensely faithful to my children and me. Praise the Lord.”  (United Kingdom)

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.  Psalm 62:5-8

“My husband and I have struggled for years. We both didn’t know how to communicate with each other and were divorced a couple of years ago. We have not really spoken since then, outside of things for our daughter. I made some bad choices and wanted revenge. I lost sight of Jesus. I started reading the daily emails I get from RMM and reconnected with God. Even though my heart hurts, I truly want my husband to find his way back to Jesus. I asked that his heart be softened. The other day, He texted me and told me he had been going to church for a few weeks. He asked me if I wanted to go on a motorcycle ride with him. My heart was full. I think I told him too much about my feelings and scared him off. He stopped texting me. I pray that I didn’t say too much, and that God still speaks to him. I pray that God continues to mold me to be the wife he needs and that he lets God mold him, too.”  (Kansas) Oh, I can remember times that I would say too much to Bob! I would ask the Lord to erase anything I should not have said to him and prayed for the Lord to continue to reignite into Bob’s heart the Lord’s agape and eros love for me and our marriage to be resurrected from the dead and brought back to life again! What the Lord did for us, He can do for all hurting and dead marriages! Just keep praying and believing! – Charlyne

“This morning, I heard the words ‘All of my hope is in the name of Jesus’ being sung. I love the gift of music and thank God for it. Last night, my relationship between my son and his family and me was restored. This is all God because it was hopelessly broken. The previously planned trip with my granddaughter is back! All praise, glory, and honor to our King! I also had a very vivid dream about my beloved lost former husband. I still believe God is in the restoring, rebuilding, delivering and reviving business and not a thing will cause me to doubt. Do not be afraid—I am with you! ‘From the distant east and the farthest west I will bring your people home. I will tell the north to let them go and the south not to hold them back. Let my people return from distant lands, from every part of the world. They are my own people, and I created them to bring me glory.’ Isaiah 43:5-7 (GNT).”  (Florida)

“I am at the hardest stage of standing. My husband married the other woman. I started asking God and fasting to confirm if I should stand. While fasting, I heard a sermon about how Jesus Christ needed to completely die before being raised to life again. I thought, that is what has happened to my marriage. It completely died. God wants to raise it up and give it life! My husband needs salvation. He is dead until he gets saved! At work, I had several customers who had the same name as my husband. Later a song he sang to me came on the radio. Last of all, I was in my car with my parents. We were in the middle of a rainstorm when we saw a rainbow. We thought it was s miracle to see a rainbow through the rain. I had asked God to see a rainbow if I should stand. This one was showing through the storm! Amazing! With God, all is possible. When I got home it was beautiful sunshine!”  (Florida)

“Your ministry has been such a blessing to me. I enjoyed today’s devotional about the relay race. I have been running my race for a while. My husband spent some time in prison early in our marriage. When he got out, he asked to come back, but I told him no because of a hard heart. It has been a major roller coaster ride between us. I did not have the support physically so I could be successful on my journey. My aunt and I are the only ones still married to our covenant spouses. People aren’t invested in something long-term, like standing. My husband asked me for a divorce recently and I told him no. He told me that we don’t have a marriage because we don’t live together. He told me that he is never coming home. However, God had me in Ecclesiastes 5 letting me know that I am on the right track. God takes vows seriously and He hates divorce. That is enough for me to stand.”  (Virginia) Amen! I totally agree! The Lord reminded me of my wedding vows I said to Bob after I was deceived and gave up on Bob! But God! The Lord touched both of us and transformed our hearts and lives! God never gave up on Bob and kept speaking to him in so many ways! In God’s timing, Bob suddenly feared God on disobeying Him and drove down to talk to me, about getting a marriage license and putting it in my Bible for the right time. But God had His way and we got remarried that same day! Ask the Lord to speak to you through His Word and His many other ways! Then never give up! Stand firm with the Lord on your side! – Charlyne

When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.  Ecclesiastes 5:4-5

God bless,

Charlyne
