Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here.  Mark 16:2-6

“I love the hope RMM gives me. Between podcasts and devotionals, I’m filled with faith and hope that my (dead) marriage can be restored. I believe God is working. I believe God is in control. I believe that God wants my marriage restored for His glory.”  (Pennsylvania)

Luke 12:7 (ESV) – ‘Why even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.’ God is so good! I have been standing for my marriage for many years. The Lord has guided me and given hope and love along the way. It is the hardest thing I have ever done yet a precious gift. The day before Valentine’s I was sad, yet cried out and prayed: ‘Lord, I do not have a Valentine to share this awesome day with. Will you be my Valentine? I know You love me and we will have a great day.’ God does care about the little details. He nudged a friend to call and ask me at the last minute if I wanted to go on a hike and out to eat. She gave me candy and a card. Then I went home to flowers from some of my children. The others said they owed me dinner. One of my boy’s girlfriends gave me a card and a necklace. And I received a Happy Valentine’s Day text from my husband! What a blessed day from our Father!”  (Texas)

“After months of praying for any obstacle that stands in the way of reconciliation or restoration, my husband and his girlfriend have broken up. While he stated it doesn’t change anything between us, it does allow for a clear head and more time for him to reflect.”  (Ohio)

“The Lord is not slow but patient. Many times over the past years I have become so weary waiting on the Lord to fulfill His promises over my husband and our marriage. But each time the Lord reminds me of how He was so patient with me for so many years while I was a lukewarm Christian, thinking I had light within me but actually had so much darkness within my heart. Though my husband had outward sin, my sins were so deeply rooted and hidden in my heart it was only Jesus who could reveal such darkness and yet give me so much grace that I was able to humbly receive His conviction and have strength to repent. So how could I not stand in the gap for my husband knowing it is Jesus’ desire. It’s such an honor. Do not grow weary by looking at circumstances and timelines. Keep your eyes upon the Lord and know that he is faithful! HE IS GOD! He is not slow but patient just like He is with you. Believe in His promises!”  (Alabama)

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.  2 Peter 3:9

“Praise God! Thank You Jesus for carrying me all these years. Yes, it’s a very long stand and I will continue to stand for my covenant spouse and our whole family to surrender to God and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. My spouse has divorced me and married the other woman. BUT God. Nothing is impossible for God. He buys my food, helps me with my car and calls to see how I am. I believe with all my heart that in God’s perfect timing my spouse will return and we will remarry ,but most importantly my spouse will accept Jesus as His Lord and Savior”  (Pennsylvania)

“We have been married many years. Earlier in our marriage, I was arrested for sex with a minor. I’ve been on the sex registry for over 20 years and we are still together. God has forgiven me and restored our marriage. We have four amazing kids and four amazing grandkids to an amazing son and daughter-in-law. Keep fighting for your marriage. Hang in there and keep fighting.”  (Florida)

“Praise God! As I write this encouragement to my beloved standers, next Friday is Good Friday (Our debts are paid) and Sunday is Resurrection Day (We rejoice at His victory over death and the grave). As I continue to stand for the restoration of my marriage, I believe what God says and what God will do in my marriage and your marriage according to His promises will come to pass. Hallelujah! In this journey God want us to always remember His faithfulness and His goodness and to be content. If we think we are going backward, it is not the truth. The truth is God so loves us, is so proud of us, we keep going and moving forward . He sees us through our faith in Jesus. Every day I remind myself to not believe what the enemies lies. I loved the podcast ‘Learning How to Forgive.’ It really blessed me.”  (Washington)

“For no word from God will ever fail.”  Luke 1:37

God bless,

Praising God for the testimonies and praying in agreement for breakthroughs.

Good news
I’ve got good news
For the broken, for the hurting
He came for you
In your hoping, in your searching
One thing remains true
Jesus is still our Good News

With tears streaming down my face as I was touched by these beautiful testimonies, I can only say, “To God be all glory and honor and praise! He is FOR us and if He be for us, who can stand against us?” Thank You, Father, for a LOVE that never fails.
