Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.  Psalm 121:1-2

“God has restored our marriage! My husband left several years ago after connecting with the OW. He came home the next day and said he was home for good, but he would struggle for the next couple of years before confessing the other relationship. Even though I wasn’t certain something was going on, I never felt peace in my marriage after that one night. Our suddenly came when he confessed. He had been praying God would intervene and help him walk away from the OW. My suddenly was not the happy moment I imagined. I was devastated by his confession, but it was a fresh start and the beginning of healing. I zipped my lips and told only my prayer partner about his infidelity. I am thankful that RMM gives us a place to share God’s work. It has been several years now, and God continues to bless us!”  (Georgia) Praise the Lord! God can and does heal marriages when there is infidelity! Never doubt the power of God’s amazing agape and eros love but add forgiveness and your marriage will radiate the love of God and total healing!! – Charlyne

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

“My husband and I separated last year. It was so difficult, and I was left on my knees feeling sorry for myself. During that year I tried to focus on healing. I thought I had pushed past focusing on him and was focusing on the Lord, but a false start proved otherwise. This time around, I am at peace. I let go of the manipulation, or seeking validation from my spouse, and I am focused on my Heavenly Father. Today we are still apart but I see SO many changes in myself and my relationship with the Lord. God made me a promise and I stand today for His promise. I can’t wait until he’s home again in my arms. In the meantime, I am praising God for all His beautiful work in my life.” (California)

‘I received a job teaching at a Christian school as a preschool teacher. My husband‘s parents offered us to live in their house. My husband wanted to take our young adult niece in with her baby. She was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I had to let events unfold for him to realize this. Of course, we’re the bad people. She told lie after lie until people started to believe her. I was asking the Lord to deliver us from living in that house, privately. It was in a crackhead neighborhood with homeless people camping around us. Not safe for our kids. (It wasn’t like that when we first moved in.) We received a text message that they were kicking us out due to all the lies they believed. We were homeless for a while. Fast forward, we now live in a brand-new house! This house has everything that was on my list… miracle. Thank You, Jesus! Happy ending for all.”  (Oregon)

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19

“I was brought. up by a single mother. My dad was staying with different women and we kids rarely saw him. My mom later accepted Christ and I saw how He transformed her life, and she completely forgave my dad. She passed on a few years ago. After a few years of standing for my own marriage, I started praying for my dad’s salvation and that of the lady he was living with. I prayed for God to bring our dad back home. A few months later the lady unfortunately passed away. Through the teaching from this ministry, I knew it would take more than just her passing for my dad to come home, so I kept praying. Unfortunately, he passed earlier this year. I was devasted. The enemy filled my mind with all sorts of lies. I cried out to God to give me a sign my husband would come back home. After many years of not communicating with me at all, he called the kids and asked to speak to me. He comforted me and even after I gave the phone back to the kids, he was asking after me. It was God!”  (South Africa)

“Years ago, when my husband left our marriage and then filed for divorce, I was devastated and wondered how my daughter and I would survive. A friend referred me to Rejoice Marriage Ministries and God has used His Word and Rejoice to strengthen me and help me through the challenges of the journey as a stander. I can testify that God is faithful and there has not been a day that my daughter and I have lacked. My husband and I respect each other and there is a peace between us that can only come from God. I have grown so much in my walk with the Lord and my daughter, and I am so blessed despite the fact that restoration of our family has not taken place yet. Standers, hold on to God. He will see us through and supply our every need! His promise in Psalm 92:4 will not return to Him void! Thank You Jesus!”  (Netherlands Antilles)

For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.  Psalm 92:4

Just recently one of our daughters asked to go to church with me! This made my heart do backflips! I have enemies on my job who now are changing their minds about me. I still have a long way to go. I am thankful for my blessings.”  (Delaware) Never stop praying for your whole family’s salvations and going to church with you! That is God’s desire also!! – Charlyne

“It’s been many years since my husband left me with three children, went to marry an OW, and from there, another OW. I have reasons to praise the Lord for the He has kept the children and me all through these years. Two of my children graduated from the University. The Lord has been their Teacher as He promised in Isaiah 54:13-17 and they all love the Lord. The last one is about to step into the University. At times people tell me that it is almost unbelievable that their dad was not ‘on the ground’ while they were growing up. I can only give thanks to God, for He has done so much for me. I still believe in God that one day, I will share the testimony of marriage restoration. In the meantime, I am praying to God that my husband’s inner eyes are opened, and the Lord gives him an understanding heart that obeys the instructions of God.”  (United Kingdom) What a praise report! Our Lord God is so faithful in providing all your needs to raise the children and to get an education for their future! Their Heavenly Father loves them so much and nothing is too hard for our Lord God to do! Seek the Lord, pray, tell Him everything, allow Him to provide for all your needs and especially for your children!! Their Heavenly Father will never fail them! Remember, to share your testimony and give your Lord God all the praise, glory, and honor! Others need to see and hear that God cares for His children of all ages! To God be the glory! – Charlyne

All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace…. “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.  Isaiah 34:13,17

I pray that you will have a blessed July 4th Holiday with your family and friends! Let’s pray that many prodigal husbands and wives will be invited to come and celebrate with their family! May this be a holiday that the Lord starts healing wounded and broken hearts and God will reignite His love in you and your spouse’s heart for marriage restoration! – Charlyne

God bless,

I wondered if I was becoming lukewarm in my stand. Yes.
I dreamed just last night about meeting a very young woman who told me my husband was never going to change and had done awful things too ugly to mention. I woke and I believe she was a demon of the enemy and my husband definitely needs my prayers. I intend to refuel my stand with prayer and Bible study, and RMM! Thanks for being such a strong resource and support!
