Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.  1 Peter 5:6-7

“All praise and glory go to God. My husband came home after several months. God got our family thorough this storm. He does answer prayers. It hasn’t been easy. Since he has been home, he has been confused, talking to the OW still. I know God will get our family through this storm. Thank you, Rejoice Marriage Ministries, for helping me get closer to my Lord Almighty, who has given me hope that my marriage will be restored better than it was before. Prayer does work; it is powerful. Through this process of my husband being home with a cold heart, God has told me He will change his heart. I am standing on God’s promises for my marriage to be restored. I am standing on God’s promises for my husband’s heart to change.” (Texas) Praise the Lord that your husband came home. Pray the Lord will sever and cut all contact with your husband and the other person quickly and forever! Pray for her salvation and to find God’s perfect will for her life. Please continue to pray for your husband’s salvation to have a new heart transformation by our Lord God. Pray with fervency and you will see the hand of God give you and your husband a new marriage that God created to be excellent with agape and eros love! Remember God created marriage! – Charlyne

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”  Ezekiel 36:26

“I was the prodigal for many years. My beautiful wife is the one who stood and prayed for me, every day. But I kept the mindset that I must keep working. She begged me to come home. I even once said I can’t, I love my job. Once she finally gave in and gave up, I broke. I hadn’t realized what I could lose. Not just her but my entire family. God let me be broken so I would return to Him! I have since given my life to Jesus. Even through all the pain He has been my source of safety and peace. I know this for certain. The days I don’t seek God out are the hardest. But the days I seek Him are the easiest. I will stand, I will pray, and I will trust that God does have a plan for me, and He is working it. Every day that I trust in Him miracles happen. I learn more and more every day to put my faith in God and trust what He has in store for me. And I am thankful for Him bringing me home to Him!”  (Oklahoma)

“My husband has returned home. We are not on the same page, but he is at home. Praise God.”  (Georgia) Praise the Lord! Another marriage restoration! Please pray daily for all married couples that they will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives and go to church regularly. Also pray for the couples who are having their prodigal spouse or loved ones return home will have a divine encounter with the Lord to transform their hearts and lives forever! Prayer changes everything! – Charlyne

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”  Jeremiah 32:17

“I don’t know about you, but I don’t believe in coincidences! In a recent Saturday Testimonies, the last one mentioned a verse that had just spoken to me. Some mornings I read my Bible while I am eating my breakfast. I ask God to show me what He wants me to see. This particular morning, I was in 2 Kings and read this verse that leapt off the page at me. It was 2 Kings 8:6 (KJV) – And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now. I kept reading past it and felt the urge to underline and date it, so I went back and did. And then it showed up in another woman’s Saturday testimony shortly after that! Not a coincidence! It’s not even a very popular verse but it shows how the Lord speaks to us and confirms these things. I shouldn’t be surprised how He works, but sometimes it still takes my breath away. All glory to Him!  (Nebraska)

“I was encouraged by a recent email that you sent and in it you used a phrase ‘resurrected from the dead’ in regard to my marriage. It struck me so strongly because I had used that phrase before my marriage ended. I said that perhaps my marriage has to completely die so that God alone can get the glory for resurrecting it from the dead. After it did die, I began to say that nothing was impossible with God and that He can still resurrect my marriage from the dead. I’m choosing to believe that seeing the email at that time, as I don’t read these emails that often, was something that God had orchestrated perfectly. Thank you for praying.”  (Georgia) God’s timing is incredible! He loves each of you so much and wants all your husbands and wives to surrender their lives to the Lord! So many men and women say their marriage is dead and hopeless, but with God in your life, your marriage CAN be resurrected from the dead! – Charlyne

“We were 400km apart due to work. I sent a prayer request last year, after several years of praying on my own. Within six months my husband got a transfer and is now staying 80km away from us. We thank God. This is the closest we have lived in many years of marriage.”  (Botswana)

“Today our middle son had his birthday, and I went with him to a restaurant with my little girl. We asked my spouse to come with us, but he said that he can’t. They did plan to go together to the Cinema, just papa and him. As we came back to the house, I prayed that the OW was not around. But she was. I felt so hurt. I ran to the house and cried. I was cleaning and crying, and I asked the Lord if I misunderstood Him. I looked at my calendar and saw that I was still in June. I turned to July and read John 11:40 (KJV) – Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? OMG! I said, ‘Sorry Father’ because I had doubt. He is faithful.”  (Germany) God does speak to His children in so many ways! I love this testimony as I am always saying to keep your eyes and mind open to the Lord speaking to you throughout your day! Bob has written in his books that God was speaking to him to go home all the time! But he was choosing to be disobedient and live in sin. But God did not give up on Bob and I was praying and fasting for the Lord to continue to speak louder to my husband to get his attention. One time Bob passed by a bad auto accident where someone had died. Bob said that God spoke to him and said, “That could have been you in that accident. Leave your life of adultery and sin.” Bob said, “Unfortunately, I did not repent or leave my life of sin that day, but a few months later! As God never stopped speaking to me to, “Go home and leave this sinful lifestyle!” Never doubt the power of your prayers for your beloved spouse and others! – Charlyne

“My husband never had a problem lending money to others (family, friends, coworkers, etc.) if there was a need. (I was always hesitant.) His heart was always open in that way, even when our family was struggling financially. When someone asked to borrow money from me recently, my initial thought was I can’t do that much. I have a kid in college, I have a college trip planned in a few weeks, I have more bills than money. But then God reminded me of what my husband would do. I have no doubt, my husband would give the money to this trusted friend who has never asked us for money before. I decided I would be a blessing to this person. I would trust God and give her the full amount she asked for. It felt good to see my husband as God sees him and to be a blessing to someone at the same time.”  (New Jersey)

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”  Matthew 25:40

God bless,

Charlyne

Hallelujah to see God move. Praying in agreement for restoration for all.

Beautiful Name

Death could not hold You, the veil tore before You
You silenced the boast of sin and grave
The heavens are roaring the praise of Your glory
For You are raised to life again

You have no rival, You have no equal
Now and forever, God, You reign
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory
Yours is the Name above all names

Wow. That is something I feel like God keeps speaking to me too since I know there are no coincidences with Him. A few weeks ago I was listening to something someone shared here actually in one of the comments. They asked God if there was still hope for their marriage & then this sermon popped up on their phone. I decided to click on it & listen too.
It kept saying –

He brings dead to life. He brings dead to life.
That really stuck out to me. The next morning I was praying & crying out to God – God bring my dead marriage back to life. Resurrect my dead marriage. Then this song came on – I’m gonna tell my fight He brings what’s dead to life. Then that morning the devotion was Charlyne’s restoration testimony & it was called
-God does restore dead marriages.
Then someone praying for me said – thank you God that this will be a testimony of the power of the word of God to bring to life even dead marriages.
Then I went to sleep a few nights ago with scripture playing while you sleep & when I woke up it had played through other videos & the one it was on was called
-On Marriage. Don’t give up & in the prayer at the end the pastor said
– God we thank you you are the God of resurrection in marriage & you bring to life even marriages that are dead.
Then God brought a Christian attorney into my life to help me fight for my marriage – ladies please pray pray pray for the favor for the judge to rule in order for my husband & I to get mandatory marriage counseling. But this is something my attorney wrote on a blog when I first found him. I didn’t realize it until how this keeps coming up & circling back around.

In a profession built on the death of marriage knowing there’s at least one lawyer trying to bring them back to life means a great deal.

Then I come to read the Saturday testimonies “resurrected from the dead”

This has to clearly be God speaking because this many times cannot be a coincidence. This has to mean God will resurrect my dead marriage to speak it to me this many times! I just am praying it will be before a divorce can happen..& we will get the court ordered marriage counseling. Do you ladies agree with something this many times it has to be God speaking? It just is so hard to stand on it when you don’t actually see anything happening…& also want to be careful to not read into things to get my hopes up…

He has also used this verse for me too. So much.

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17

I just get excited with all these “confirmations” thinking they will be right around the corner…

They first happen in the spirit realm before they make their way to the natural? I get so excited when all these confirmations like I do & then when I share with others I just get discouraged because they don’t see it like me or they keep saying but it takes two… your husband has to be willing & he has free will to choose. Yeah, but then why would God confirm & confirm over & over again if that were the case… I know we’ve talked about the free will with proverbs 21:1 I’m just tired of people telling me that or I’m in denial to what is actually happening…
