Charlyne Cares

Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness . Colossians 2:6-7

“I joined RMM many years ago when I was going through a separation after many years of marriage. RMM helped me through really tough times. Standing for my marriage was the best thing I could’ve ever done. Most of my friends blamed me for my stand, said it’s because I don’t want to grow old alone. The OW phoned one day and said to come get my husband. It was a long road to restoration after he moved back into our home. I kept standing and eventually I had the best marriage. I could have ever dreamt of. Last year my husband got diagnosed with cancer and I could walk the road together with him of treatments, surgery, etc. God blessed my marriage and my stand beyond imagination and to be able to be with my husband during his fight against cancer was the greatest reward.” (New Zealand)

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Genesis 2:18

“I have been standing for marriage restoration several years now, waiting patiently for God’s timing. God told me that Satan has a stranglehold on marriages and that He was going to break that stranglehold and restore marriages. He said that the first miracle was done at a wedding because marriages were going to need a miracle. And He saved the best wine for last to be feasted upon by the husband and wife He joined together. We were both ministers before Satan got in and turned my husband into a prodigal, but God is able to restore him back. God has done many prior supernatural miracles in my life. I desire the supernatural and I have to press in with prayer and fasting. I know that there’s nothing too hard for God! I will wait with a joyful heart for my appointed time for the restoration of my marriage! I just wanted to encourage every stander.” (Texas)

“Although I’m still struggling with my marriage, I found my pain has been able to encourage some of my neighbors who are going through the most. I also have found the courage to take my business to another level. The joy of the Lord has become my strength once again. I feel some kind of restoration taking place in other areas of my life. I don’t know what the future of my marriage will be, but I do know that with God on my side I will be able to handle all the storms. May God continue to bless and prosper your ministry.” (South Africa)

“While I wait for God to move in my husband’s life, I’ve prayed for fruit in my own. A friend who I’ve been regularly praying for and walking through life with, completely surprised me last week when she excitedly informed me that she ‘invited God into her heart.’ I had been a bit anxious thinking I would need to say just the right things to her, but here God suddenly did it all. Seeing Him work in her life has been so delightful and encouraging. He is in control of everything.” (Pennsylvania)

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10

“Last Christmas season as I was taking down the Christmas tree, I was just talking to God and asking Him ‘How many more Christmases with my spouse away from his family?’ I was sad for the reality of our circumstances but at the same time thankful that the Lord has taught me to count it all as joy! This journey I am on is to learn to not lean on my own understanding and to trust God’s plan even when things look impossible. My plan was to have my husband home. God’s plan is to teach me to seek His Kingdom first and to know that His ways are so much better than ours! My husband has spent every Christmas morning with us since he left. This year he is spending the entire day! God taught me to forgive and that love is a choice and not just a feeling. I pray always to see others through God’s eyes and not my own flawed human eyes. I used to ask God to change my spouse; I am thankful that He changed me!” (Canada)

“My husband and I have gone to several different marriage ministries over the years. Divorce was NEVER an option for us, but we are convinced from God’s character and His Word that remarriage is adultery. As leaders, over the years, we searched the web looking for ministries on ‘marriage restoration’ and found it almost non-existent, until a friend talked to us about your ministry…Thank you for your steadfast heartfelt commitment to trusting God for His Word. God is enough, as Charlyne puts it!” (Canada)

“A coworker opened up to me about everything a couple of years ago about his divorce and new relationship. His ex-wife was about to get married to someone else. He was living with a girlfriend. He wanted to be back with his wife. I told him about my stand for my marriage and praying and about RMM. He stopped me the other day and told me he and his wife are getting back together. Praise God! I’m still praying for mine, but it makes my heart happy to see others.” (Kentucky)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3

God bless, Charlyne
