Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.  2 Corinthians 1:20-21a

“My prodigal left several years ago. Hard years passed for me and my son. Two months ago, my husband came home with repentance, wanting to recover his family. For Thanksgiving we will renew our marriage vows. We are so grateful to God, that the passed time seems little due to the positive changes we have had. We are still healing and restoring. We are in a new beginning process.”  (Florida) Thank You Lord another marriage being reunited during the November and Christmas holidays! Let us all pray for all hurting and divorced marriages have breakthroughs throughout the holidays this year! There is power in prayer when many are praying in agreement! Let us pray for miracles as the Lord hates divorce and wants all covenant marriages reconciled! – Charlyne

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”  Isaiah 43:18-19

“I’m thankful that I have many testimonies. It’s been a few of years of standing and believing God’s promises. I feel at peace on this journey. Many times, I get impatient and want my husband to come home already, but I enjoy the times together when we do meet. We talk on the phone more and finally had what seemed like our first kiss. He stays over on the weekends, but I’m believing he will be home to stay soon. It’s so funny, I get nervous and want to look my best when he comes over. My husband and I are different people but God is still working on both of us. Our family is being restored. My pastor didn’t believe in my marriage restoration, but I was given a book called ‘The Blessed Marriage’ and he wants me to read it. I wait for God’s perfect time to finish what has been started so he may receive all the glory.”  (Texas) Please remember to pray for all pastors to pray for their congregations to have strong and healthy marriages. May all the pastors preach the permanence of the covenant marriage regularly! Lori’s daughter, Kayla got married on November 4th and they had a beautiful Christian wedding. The pastor who married them also spoke of the permanence of marriage and that we must fight for our marriages! God created marriage and we become one flesh! The enemy is out to destroy what God created! Never give up on your marriage due to circumstances as we serve an awesome mighty God that can change hearts and lives at any time forever! Just keep standing on the promises of God and never give up on your spouse’s heart transformation! – Charlyne

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.  Mark 10:7-8

“I’ve been struggling with my faith the past few weeks. I’ve been drifting between wanting restoration for my marriage and wanting to give up and move on. I pray constantly. My prayers ask that God take my anger from me and give me the strength to stand according to His will. I pray that He give me the grace to truly forgive her and myself. And yes, I ask for signs, confirmation that I am in line with His will regarding my marriage. This past week those signs have been clear. Every scripture I read, every sermon I watched , all say the same thing: ‘I’ve got this. Keep moving forward.’ That message came louder than ever over the past 24 hours. Four times, four different sources in 24 hours, my pastor’s advice, and words from a friend, ask and tell me to stand strong, that this isn’t over yet. Praise God for His love, His mercy, and His grace. Praise Him that He holds to His Word, and that He can do the impossible, restore the broken and heal bodies, hearts, and minds.”  (Virginia) Praise the Lord! God does speak so many different ways to His children guiding and directing their steps! This testimony is a very good example of what a spouse praying for their prodigal spouse can do by reading God’s Word daily to know His will and way for your life and marriage! A powerful testimony to encourage all men and women to pray for their restoration of their marriage! God can do the impossible by restoring and healing bodies, hearts, and minds! – Charlyne

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.  Psalm 25:14

“There have been answered prayers regarding my daughter and husband. They are communicating and my family is reconciled by the Blood of Jesus.”  (Texas)

“I have been struggling the last couple of weeks. I’ve been physically tired which has brought emotional distress. I decided to continue reading The Prodigals Perspective by Bob. I came to the chapter titled ‘Did You Know the Lord Was Working in Your Life?’ It gave me hope because I know factually there have been numerous times that God was nudging my prodigal to return home but for various reasons he didn’t listen, couldn’t hear, and did not recognize it as God speaking. Reading this chapter gave me just what I needed to pick myself up and stand on the fact that God is working even when we feel like we are losing a battle that has already been won. Thank you RMM and thank You Jesus!”  (Maryland) Thank You, Lord for giving Bob an anointing to write so many books from his heart not to do what he did but share what God can do in prodigals hearts and lives! I love reading books. So, I hope you will be blessed and deeply encouraged by reading many of Bob’s books that have helped so many standers for over 25 years! Be encouraged and get hope from a prodigal who came home by God’s divine wooing him home, suddenly! – Charlyne

“We have been going through quite a rough patch in recent months and I have been praying for the Lord to, once again, speak to my husband and that he would experience God’s undeniable presence. Last night out of the blue, my husband told me he wanted me to pay his tithes based on his income too. He has not done this in a number of years, and I have not said a word. He told me he does not want to go to heaven and have God ask him why he robbed Him of His tithe. While I would rather him bring his own tithe in, it is undeniable that God has been speaking to him. It only took 24 hours for me to realize it was God answering my prayers when I couldn’t see a thing. ‘For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.’ Matthew 6:21. Thank You Jesus that you still move mountains. I am trusting in God to continue to draw my husband to Himself, blessing him with understanding His love for him, and healing him of lung disease.”  (California)

When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.  Luke 4:40

“God does answer prayer. Yesterday I woke up with zero dollars in my bank account and $130 in savings. I cried out to God in prayer, knowing I had a bill coming in for 130 some dollars. My bank has an option to borrow $500 but I felt like God was saying no, so I did not take that option. I then went on to stop auto pay on my bill but that was not an option. I had not written our tithe check but felt like God spoke to my heart to write it, send it, and trust God. So I obeyed, wrote the check, and sent it out. I only had $10 left in our account and a bill coming in the same day for a $130. I chose to obey God and I felt like God was saying trust Him. I had no idea and no money coming in for a few days. A little while later I checked our email and there was a message from our bank saying my check went into the bank two days early. God is so good. He does answer prayer.”  (Michigan)

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”  Malachi 3:10

God bless,

Charlyne

Praising God for all these testimonies! Praying in agreement for restoration of all marriages!

That’s The Power
Cause that’s the power of Your Name
And just a mention makes a way
Giants fall and strongholds break
And there is healing
And that’s the power that I claim
It’s the same that rolled the grave
And there’s no power like the mighty Name of Jesus
