HE CAME HOME – Fabian Shares From His Heart

After thirteen years apart, Luz and Fabian have a restored marriage. In this CD, Fabian shares the battles he fought with addictions, feelings of hopelessness and even suicidal thoughts.

Fabian has a burden for the husband or wife that has left home and who does not see the way out of the other relationship or leaving the world’s lifestyle to go back to their praying spouse and family.

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.  Psalm 126:5-6

“On Christmas Eve, my son and (ex) husband stopped by my house to pick up a few things, as they were out spending time together. I was heading out the door as they pulled up, so I was able to wish him a Merry Christmas! Then we ended up at the same store a few minutes later! This opened up an opportunity for us to communicate longer! It’s been a long time since our separation and divorce, but God knows how to encourage my heart to keep standing! Thank You Heavenly Father for the gifts of Jesus and seeing my covenant husband!”  (Idaho) What a blessing from the Lord that they both went to the same store! What a coincidence! May you keep your eyes open to see the different gifts you may receive from the Lord as He wants to bless and encourage you! – Charlyne

“Bless the Name of Jesus. My father-in-law has allowed us to stay at his home and we are thankful. This may be one of the important steps to restoration and reconciliation to my husband in Jesus’ name. I must say, I did not like the idea, and I tried to get a house in another community. It did not work out as I had wanted and it is like the story of Jonah, (Jonah was running in the opposite direction, but eventually he had to do God’s will). So here we are, living in my father-in-law’s home for the time being. Blessings and Agape.”  (Jamaica) Are you learning to do God’s will and not demand your own will and way? When you learn this powerful truth and lesson, the Lord will bless you more than you can imagine! – Charlyne

“Praise the Lord! A miracle happened. I got to spend Christmas with my prodigal! This time last year I remember reading Charlyne’s devotional on prodigals coming home for the holidays. After reading that, I prayed and believed that my prodigal and I would spend the holidays together this year. God came through and made it happen. Prior to us spending Christmas together, things between us weren’t great and I was losing all hope. BUT God. I praise the Lord for working in my life and I look forward to seeing where He is taking us.”  (Texas) Never doubt the power of God and the power of prayer! May you remember that regardless of your present circumstances, be faithful in believing and standing on the promises of God that He has given you throughout your praying for marriage restoration! Pull out your many prayer journals! You will be blessed! – Charlyne

“The devil tried to break my husband and me. We fought a lot. I asked God to help change him. He said ‘No, change you.’ At first I was angry because my heart was broken. I heard Him say, ‘You know I can change everything.’ I needed those words. I said God I’ll let you do whatever you want for me. God has healed my heart little by little. My husband is changing. He used to call me evil names and curse, but thank God, he now calls me beautiful. He never bought me gifts but lately he has. God can change it all. He showed me how to respect my husband. We have now been together for many, many years. I thank God for the love we now have. It hasn’t been easy, but I thank God that He healed me and saved me and my marriage. I believe he can in yours too. No matter what is happening in your life, in Jesus’ name everything and anything is possible. For he is the God of possibilities.”  (Texas)

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”  Ezekiel 26:26

“I’m so encouraged by others’ testimonies. My husband divorced me to marry the OW and left four children behind. After some years of standing and pretty much no contact with all of us, I invited him for Christmas Eve again for family dinner. He came, asked to stay for a night on the couch, and was very affectionate with me later that evening. I’m totally surprised and thank my God for softening his heart to come home completely. Nothing is impossible!”  (Switzerland) Praise the Lord! It is a new year with new beginnings!! Where are you spiritually? Light the fire and keep it burning in your spiritual walk and prayer life! Pray for the Lord to knock down all the walls that have been put up by the enemy! Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for hearts, lives, and marriages to be how God created them to be, one flesh! – Charlyne
“Thank you to Anne and Brad for your transparency around your marriage challenges and restoration. Many of your circumstances are similar to ours. Thank you for sharing how the Lord has spoken to you and encouraged you. Your testimony has helped me to strengthen my resolve to follow God’s leading.”  (North Carolina)

“I’ve been standing for many years. My husband sent pipe wrapping with our daughter to me so I could wrap my pipes for the freeze. Also, Christmas morning he sent a text to the kids and I to wish us a Merry Christmas. He said he missed all of us. Then later in the day he called me to say he talked to all our kids but didn’t get to talk to me and wish me a Merry Christmas. PTL! God is softening his heart.”  (Texas)

“My prodigal was coming to visit our children. One thing that I’ve been asking God to deliver me from is my facial expressions and thoughts of disgust and disappointment. I generally try to keep a smile on my face in my prodigal’s presence, but it is difficult when memories of my prodigal’s behavior start swirling in my mind. I prayed and asked God to deliver me from any thoughts that are not reflective of the man that I know God created him to be. God came through! We spent family time together playing a board game and enjoying dinner. And I did not have any thoughts that moved me to a place of disagreement with God.”  (Maryland) Praise the Lord! Will you surrender your heart and life to the Lord and say, “Lord, change me to be the husband or wife that I need to be in our marriage restoration! To God be the glory! – Charlyne

“I’ve been standing for my marriage to be restored for some time. After a very long marriage, the divorce was official (not final because God has the final say and He restores!). We’ve had minimal contact, until last Christmas. He lives several hours away and for the last year we’ve texted daily. Our first grandbaby was born earlier this year. Our entire family was together for the first time since the separation. We spent several evenings together as a family when he was home the week of Thanksgiving, including spending Thanksgiving together at his mom’s. Christmas when he was in, we spent several evenings together as a family, and we celebrated Christmas as a family in my home. He bought me my first gift since our separation. God is moving and our full circle restoration is unfolding right before my eyes. I’m so thankful and am expecting a ‘new thing’ in 2023. Walk by faith! God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more!”  (Louisiana)

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.  Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)

God bless,
