Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying.
Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?
They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. Psalm 112:7-8
“I was the wayward wife. I was the one living in deception and in sin. But God rescued me. God forgave me and gave me another chance to not only fight for my salvation, but fight for my family. My husband’s heart has turned hard due to my choices, but after many months I have witnessed the Lord working in him as well. The Lord has been doing a great work in my life and my heart. I am no longer bitter. I have learned to be humble, to bite my tongue, to love my husband despite his coldness, to serve him. I die to my flesh every day and ask God to walk with me. I am far from perfect and my husband still constantly judges me, but God’s grace is sufficient for me. His peace brings gentleness to my heart and I am able to face the consequences of my actions with the Lord by my side. Praise God! What the enemy meant for evil, God meant it for good! I am His daughter!” (Georgia)
But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 15:19-20
“We are still married at the moment. Our final hearing was a few weeks ago. As far as I understand it, the judge has 90 days to make his ruling about parenting time, finances, etc. I was able to tell her (in court, no less) that she is the love of my life and that I am a marriage stander. I pray God softens her heart, and we can avoid all the pain that is set out before us. I pray she will begin to understand and believe that neither I nor God needs her to be perfect, and that denying her struggles is not a good path forward. I pray that I am given the wisdom to know how to best show her unconditional love, especially in front of the kids.” (Indiana)
“‘Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.’ Deuteronomy 7:9. The Lord continues to speak to me through His Word like He did that morning years ago where scriptures were jumping off the pages right after my spouse left our home and marriage for many months. Through many prayers, praises, pains, death of a best friend, a job loss, my spouse coming back to the marriage/back to the Lord, my spouse being freed of an addiction, one restoration baby boy, then a restoration baby girl, a few moves, death of an uncle and a neighbor, a legal situation, working through gut-wrenching past hurt/pain both my spouse and I, releasing fears that have kept me bound, learning to share the love of Christ more efficiently…God still speaks like He did. He is faithful to His Word. He keeps me and doesn’t lie. He asks me to obey, to walk in His Spirit. To Him be the glory.” (California)
“My husband and I were separated for many months, and in that time, God told me ‘Let go.’ I imagined releasing a butterfly from a jar, trusting God to bring it back if it was His will. Instead of chasing restoration, I focused on my own healing. I planted a butterfly bush as a symbol of trust—each time I saw a butterfly, I praised God and surrendered again, believing He was working even when I couldn’t see it. That was summer. By winter, my husband was home. It didn’t happen all at once. It was gradual—small shifts, quiet moments of change. At first, he was just around more, lingering longer, sharing small pieces of his heart. I had to keep letting go, surrendering expectations, and trusting God’s perfect timing. Loving unconditionally often felt like watering dirt, pouring into something that seemed lifeless. But I held onto faith, believing green shoots would come. And they did. My husband’s heart softened. Slowly, he started choosing home again.” (Virginia)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
God bless,
