Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”  Isaiah 30:21

“I’ve been waiting some time to share my story. Many years ago, I joined Rejoice Marriage Ministries to fight for my marriage. I stayed on the path and saw miracles come to flourish later. My husband and I left the town we grew up in, our family and friends, for a new journey to another state. God blessed our prayers and our marriage. We had a renewed life together, we were dating again, we adventured to new places together. Every day I thanked God for such answered prayers. Recently I lost my husband from an unexpected sudden death. We had so many more plans together. We are all still mourning our loss but one thing I can say is, God blessed our marriage. We were restored, and I have the most beautiful memories that will live forever in me. So, continue your fight for your marriage because it will all be worth it. Mine was. God bless you.  (California) Thank you so much for your powerful testimony! You are living hope for husbands and wives who are praying for their marriage restoration! You now have new memories forever! To God be the glory forever! – Charlyne

Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.  Zechariah 9:12

“Today is my husband’s 60th birthday. I’ve been praying that God will remind him of God’s good work in his life for decades. I bought him a north star compass, and had it engraved with ‘So you can find your way back to God and home.’ I know the compass won’t show him how to get home, but it is symbolic of my prayers for his soul to come back to God. He accepted the gift and the chocolate cheesecake I baked for him. He was grateful and we had a casual conversation before he left. I’m still praying God uses his 60th birthday to bring him to repentance and walking with Jesus again. God is good. God is working! Praise God.”  (Texas)

“The last year has been very difficult, and I have had to go through a heavy testing and desert. But I made it through a different human being in the Lord as I was a lukewarm Christian. Since the beginning of the year things have taken a spiral in our marriage despite the prayers and fasting. Many times, this took me back to my faith which was really being tested. My husband has gone public about his relationship with the OW and this took a toll on me. Last month I began praying for my heart to learn to let go and let God. I have seen wonders since I surrendered. My husband has been in communication with our daughter. He has been picking her up from school and attended her swimming gala where we had to be together all day. The grace, favor and peace has been immense since I started letting go. I am believing for God’s will to be done.”  (Kenya)

“I am going through the trials with my wife. She has mental and physical health difficulties. I believe that God has worked on our marriage. I am fighting for my marriage. A few days ago, God reminded me of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Thank You Lord for reminding me of this. Praise the Lord.”  (Arizona)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“Several years ago, when my son died and my marriage was thrown into a state of chaos, my confession was that out of the mess created, a ministry will be birthed. It’s been a very long journey, but it’s been a little here and a little there, and I see God SYSTEMATICALLY putting the pieces together and making sense of why He allowed what He allowed several years ago. I see Him taking all the enemy meant for evil and turning it around for my good and the good of the people whose lives He is touching. I see the ministry I spoke about being birthed and I am in awe of the helpers God constantly brings my way. My husband is not yet back and in fact he is not in communication with me, but I know that my husband is one of the pieces God is beautifully putting into place, at His own perfect timing. I am trusting God that the wait for this ‘piece’ will not be for much longer. As I wait in expectancy, I praise Him because He has been beyond awesome and will not fail. Be encouraged standers.”  (Nigeria)

“My husband called me tonight. We have not had much contact in the last few months since we separated. He was in an accident and at the hospital, but not badly hurt, praise the Lord. But it was me he called. He also told me he is moving three hours away and will be living at his sister’s. I know she will not allow the OW there, so I believe they broke up. God is working. He called me back to call his insurance. He still needs me. God is working on his heart!”  (California) I just praise the Lord for our Saturday Testimonies as they are sharing their stories and how the Lord is moving in their own hearts and in their beloved spouse’s hearts! Never give up on your covenant marriage! Nothing is too hard for the Lord to do! Never forget Resurrection Sunday that we recently celebrated! – Charlyne

“This is my second time standing and I have to say I am in awe of the Lord. I immediately started my stand when the Lord revealed my spouse was talking to someone. I unfortunately opened the door for the enemy to attack. I have repented and I am believing in the Lord to work in me and restore us. This time my husband is an in-house prodigal who says he’s not going anywhere. None of this makes sense to me and I’m not asking any questions because I trust the Lord. My prodigal is very loving and humble. He still sleeps in our marital bed and tells me every day he loves me and is in love with me. I’m just going day to day loving, serving, and praying for my prodigal.”  (Florida)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:5-6

God bless,

Charlyne

Praising God for the wonderful testimonies! Praying in agreement for restoration of all marriages!

Protector
I come out of agreement
With the lie that You have left me on my own
I am not alone
I come out of agreement
With the worry and the fear I’ve come to know
No, they won’t have a hold on me
