Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.  Psalm 96:1-3

“Up until a few months ago, I was what my new church pastor calls ‘a believer who believes in believing in Jesus.’ That changed when my husband left me. I thank God for sending my aunt who gave me a Bible I could read and showing me Charlyne Cares and about standing. I recently set my husband and my marriage at God’s feet and began being still and resting in Him. I accepted Jesus into my life and have an intentional relationship with Him. He has given me such peace. I have prayed and journaled daily on His Word. I had been preparing myself for the day I was tested again. I persevered and was gentle, calm, and gracious as my husband tried to serve me divorce papers. God gave me the opportunity to show him the shift in me. This recent visit with him brought an onslaught of answered prayers (God is so good) in a short amount of time. God is speaking to him—I know it. I praise Him and thank Him for my blessings.”  (Texas)

“It has been a few years since I remarried my husband. We were divorced for several years. There were some hard times in those years, but also plenty of good times, thanks to God. We still have our ups and downs now, but I am so thankful for what the Lord has done for us. He not only restored our marriage but restored our family. Keep fighting the good fight. Keep the faith. I didn’t get the church wedding I imagined or hoped for. Instead, we remarried at the courthouse. It also didn’t happen at the best time in my life, as my mother was very ill and passed away shortly after. Your restoration may not come how you want or expect it, but trust in the Lord and in His timing. God bless you.”  (Alabama)

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”  Jeremiah 32:17

“Praise the Lord. I have often read in testimonies that people would ask God for a sign and they would all testify of the ways God showed them. One morning in prayer, I asked God to show me a sign if He is going to restore my marriage. That night I called my mother-in-law, and she went on to tell me about my husband. She kept saying to me, ‘He is your husband, that is your husband, isn’t he your husband’ to the point I had to ask her how many times I was going to hear he is my husband. She laughed and continued to speak and kept repeating ‘your husband.’ It later dawned on me God had answered my prayer. Glory be to God.”  (Guyana)

“I often cross the interstate as I travel south of my home. Every time I approach, I ask the Lord for a Covenant Transport truck as a sign that He is still working on the other side of my mountain. The sightings are infrequent but also give me such encouragement when they happen. The last time I approached, I decided to ask big – a Covenant Transport truck as a sign that my spouse’s heart was softening, that his eyes and ears were being opened, and that reconciliation would happen soon. As I was stopped at a red light just before the overpass, there it was – my Covenant Transport truck! God hears our prayers and will answer!”  (Nebraska)

“I first came across this ministry a few years ago while I was at my home country in Botswana where I had relocated to ‘fix’ my marriage. My husband was living there while I lived in Australia. Little did I know that I was the one who needed ‘fixing.’ This was after several years of confusion, deep emotional pain, and anger. In His timing, the Lord led me to Rejoice Ministries. It was an answer to my prayers. God put in my heart to stand but I struggled to find a counselor, ministry, or other believers to support me. Just this week, the Lord led me to Colossians 1:20-22 (ESV) – and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him.”  (Australia)

“I asked God to show me how He is working. Recently, God brought some things to light, and I was accepting the worst. Satan had a plan, but God’s power took over. I was ready to accept divorce. If I had the money right away, I would have filed that the next day. God is using even our financial situation for good. My husband had been speaking of divorce all summer, but out of nowhere asked his parents for help finding counseling, and even if it was just to save face with them, God is still using it for good. I continue to pray. God revealed He wouldn’t lead me to break a marriage covenant that His Word says, let no man separate, and that it was not my place to make my husband hit rock bottom by filing. I looked for a counselor in our area and the first one I noticed had ‘Restoration’ in its title. My husband is still home and said he loves me. God is still working and showing me how!”  (Kansas)

From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.  Psalm 61:2

God bless,

Charlyne
