Charlyne Cares

Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

Saturday Testimonies

Below are excerpts from a few of the testimonies we have received in the past week, each shared with the writer’s permission. These are not to tell you how to stand and what to do, but are given here to share how God moves when people are praying. Do you have a testimony to share to encourage others?

We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.  Psalm 33:20-22

“It’s been some time since my husband left, and God has been providing for all my needs. Even though finances are often tight, I’m never without food or the means to pay my bills, and I’ve learned to be grateful for the little blessings as well as for the big ones. My husband attempted to divorce me, which God overturned, and although he’s trying again, I have peace in knowing that whatever happens, God is in complete control of our circumstances, and everything will turn out the way He wants it to. Trust God’s plan for your marriage and family. It doesn’t matter what your spouse is doing or saying against you, God will always have the final say. Keep praying for your prodigals. They need you to stand for them and for their rescue from the enemy, so that they can come back to God, and home to you. The Lord protects the simple-hearted; when I was in great need, He saved me. Psalm 116:6.”  (United Kingdom)

“I have been standing for my marriage for some time and yet our Heavenly Father made it that in my heart that it hasn’t been long. Abba provided me with everything I needed. We always heated the house with wood; God gave me wood. The brakes in the car needed to be changed; Abba inspired someone to help me pay for the brakes. I got diagnosed with stage IV cancer and started treatment. The divorce went through and my husband married the other woman. That same year I had surgery to remove the cancer and it was successful. I continue to be in remission. Later that year our son and I ran into my husband and we had a short but pleasant conversation. There is no contact, yet I believe our marriage will be restored. Jeremiah 29:11-13, Psalm 46:10.”  (Canada)

“After reading a devotional written by Bob in January, I remembered I had a similar experience a few years into my stand. I had asked the Lord to reveal any sin I still had in my heart not confessed. After a few days of praying, God reminded me of money I owed to a friend from around 20 years ago. Now I needed to find his address. But God! He always makes everything easy! A new member of my church came from his town so I asked her if she knew him and she did. She found the address for me. After God nudging me a few times, I finally sent the money order and a letter apologizing. As soon as I placed the letter in the post office slot, I felt an immediate peace. God is so good! He always listens and cares for us. I have been standing for many years but am asking the Lord to turn the upcoming anniversary of our divorce into a day of joy.”  (Puerto Rico)

“I just want to encourage someone today to believe God and wait upon Him. My husband left me to be with the OW for many years. We went to mediation twice and God blocked it. When I thought that this would have been the end, it was just the beginning. God told me there will be no divorce. The case went to the court and the Lord told me don’t go. I obeyed. He told me to stand still and watch Him move. The day of the hearing I was in fasting and prayer and the Lord gave me Ezekiel 21:27 (KJV): I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. This prophecy came true. The judge overturned the divorce and we’re waiting for a new trial. But I know God’s Word does not lie. Whatever He says will come to pass.”  (Florida)

“I was given RMM a few years ago. I really started listening to your podcasts and chose to stay in my marriage. I had an in-home prodigal. I knew I was being led by God. Since then, I’ve had some highs and lows. Last spring I was asking God to put someone in my path to help me build a relationship with God and to learn to not look at the past. God is so great. He put a very special woman in my life to walk with me. She taught me to forgive, not just stay in my marriage. God is doing great things in my marriage. We again are planning our future together. I have been seeking how to pray for my husband and my restored marriage. He is the great Abba and He hears us. All glory to God.”  (New Mexico)

“I prayed for a miracle. My sister was very sick after surgery, and we didn’t think she would make it. There were a lot of post-surgery complications. It looked like there was no hope. But suddenly, she started to get better. While she is not 100% yet, she is improving. It reminds me of how our stands are. We feel like there is no hope, but suddenly everything changes. Never give up hope. God is working. He hears our prayers. Praise God!”  (California)

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  James 5:15-16

God bless,

Charlyne

Praise God for the wonderful testimonies and praying in agreement for breakthroughs!

Same God
I’m calling on the God of Jacob
Whose love endures through generations
I know that You will keep Your covenant
I’m calling on the God of Moses
The one who opened up the ocean
I need You now to do the same thing for me

Keep standing and praising God for your breakthrough. After 2 1/2 years of separation and divorce, God’s promise for me has come to pass. We are remarried, under one roof and living as one.
