As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. Ephesians 2:1-3
Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ personally? If you do, at one time, you were spiritually dead, walking on the wrong path of life, accepting the world’s standards of morality, until the Lord opened your eyes to see God’s Truths and then confessed and asked for forgiveness for your sins.
The Lord Jesus Christ can make you a new creature in Christ. He can do that same thing for your prodigal. That is why you are praying for your spouse and lost loved ones. It is by God’s grace that we see God transform people.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:22-23
You are in a spiritual battle against the enemy of this world, who is destroying marriages and families. Think of the destruction that is being done to your family because of your marriage problems.
I hope you read our weekly Saturday Testimonies where people share communication breakthroughs and how the Lord is beginning the restoration process. Our Lord God is faithful. Never doubt the promises of God.
What circumstances are you facing today? Are you battling a wall of fear, unbelief, hopelessness, or hardness of your own heart? Do not be afraid. Trust in your Lord God. Stand firm and believe in the promises that God has given you, for you and your marriage.
Do you recall Joshua’s circumstances going to the Promised Land? Remember how God had parted the Jordan River for His people in Joshua Chapters 3 and 4. But the next circumstance Joshua was looking at was the vast Jericho wall, which was 20 to 30 feet thick. How was Joshua supposed to destroy it?
Joshua had a huge problem, but he turned His eyes to the Lord to see God’s plan. The battle was God’s. Give God all your walls of circumstances. Let your Lord remove your walls of separation, divorce, the hardness of your spouse’s heart, and no communication, just as God destroyed the Jericho wall for Joshua and His people.
We have many people living with their spouses, praying against separation, walking in unconditional love, and facing walls of circumstances daily. Others have had their spouse come home but they have not surrendered their life to the Lord. Ask the Lord to remove the wall of hostility in your marriage forever.
May you seek the Prince of Peace for yourself and your marriage. Seek and ask the Lord to give you a “Rhema word,” which is a promise from the Lord. Now stand firm and believe what the Lord has spoken to you!
“I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the Lord. “And I will heal them.” Isaiah 57:18-19
