I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! Galatians 2:20
We serve a risen Savior! Is the enemy tempting you to forget who you are in Christ? Do you live like a person redeemed by God or like a person living in defeat?
My prayer is that no believer will ever forget the power we have through the Cross as Jesus Christ defeated Satan and broke the power of the kingdom of darkness. Jesus spoke on the Cross, “It is Finished.” He paid the price. The death and resurrection of Jesus show the ultimate power of our Savior. He defeated Satan and death!
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Galatians 5:1
How many loved ones do you know who have forgotten that there is freedom in Jesus Christ? While you are waiting on the Lord’s answer to prayer, you must choose to pick up your cross and follow your Lord Jesus Christ while crucifying your sinful nature. Don’t live defeated.
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians 2:9-15
If you are struggling today, I encourage you to spend time in prayer with the Lord. Tell Him your concerns and fears. He wants to comfort you. Lord, I surrender to Your will and way.
Pray that your husband’s or wife’s spiritual eyes that are blinded by the world and the enemy will see the Truth of God’s Good News. My prayer is that they will hear and obey the Lord’s voice calling them to “Come home now!”
“I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.” Isaiah 42:6-7
