Charlyne Cares

Are you standing for the restoration of your marriage? A daily devotional that will offer encouragement from God’s Word as you stand for the restoration of your marriage.

There’s Power in the Blood

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.  Revelation 1:5

We are constantly praying for the salvation of the prodigal spouses who don’t have a personal relationship with the Lord. Do not stop praying now. Do not allow the enemy to defeat you, but stand firm in your faith, having the mind of Christ. Pray that your church has a burden for lost prodigals to return home.

Do you believe in the power of the Lord’s blood? He shed His blood at Calvary for all sinners to receive forgiveness of our sins and for us to be saved. That is why we are praying for your spouse and all prodigals to call on the Name of Jesus, to repent and be saved, to be able to say “No” to their sin.

Submit yourselves, then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.  James 4:7-8

In the Old Testament, we learn about the power of the blood by the sacrifice of the lamb. In Exodus, Chapter 12, we read about God passing over all the Israelites’ houses that had blood on the sides and tops of the doorframes that protected their firstborn.

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…  Revelation 12:11

I want to see your marriage restored, but more than that, I want to see unsaved prodigals find the Lord. If your spouse isn’t a Christian or has turned their back on the Lord, as Bob did, don’t give up on praying.

We were all sinners, and it is only by God’s grace that we have been saved. One of our main goals in this ministry is to help you grow in the Word and mature as a follower of Christ. Read this scripture below closely:

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.  Ephesians 2:1-5

Pray that your prodigal will find themselves in a church today. Pray that Jesus Christ will speak to them, causing them to repent and turn from their wicked ways. May they call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross for us all to receive our salvation.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  Romans 10:9-10

Believe every day that your Lord God wants your spouse to be saved. God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for everyone’s sins. Remember, God’s delays are not God’s denials. He is waiting patiently for your spouse to call on the name of Jesus for help, accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of his/her life, turn from their sinful lifestyle and then be obedient and go home!

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.  1 John 1:5-7

There’s Power In The Blood

Would you be free from your burden of sin?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide-
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Sin stains are lost in its life-giving flow–
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

Would you do service for Jesus your King?
There’s pow’r in the blood, pow’r in the blood;
Would you live daily His praises to sing?
There’s wonderful pow’r in the blood.

There is pow’r pow’r wonder working pow’r
In The blood of the Lamb;
There is pow’r pow’r, wonder-working pow’r
In the precious blood of the Lamb.
