Your Faith Can Move Mountains

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” Mark 11:22-26

What mountain of circumstances are you facing right now? Are you facing marriage problems, separation, divorce, health problems, addictions, financial problems, problems with your children? Is your spouse home, but threatening to leave, or is there total silence from your spouse? Today, have faith in God and ask your Lord to level your mountain of circumstances.

A voice of one calling: “In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 40:3-5

Your mountain of obstacles may look unmovable. I understand the financial pressure you may be under. You may be facing a court battle that seems impossible. You may be exhausted and physically ill from being a single parent. Whatever you are facing, God can shrink your mountains. He can take your valley of despair and hopelessness and raise it up so that with your faith, you can see the highway to God’s will and way in your life and your marriage.

When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.” “O unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:14-20

Are you walking in faith today or has the enemy paralyzed you with fear? I understand the fear you may be battling because of the unknown. I didn’t know how I would pay my bills. I worried about Bob marrying the other woman. You may be facing the same things. You do not know what your spouse may do next, or you have not sold your house, or you still cannot find employment. Your spouse may be home, which is a praise, but you are walking on eggshells. You may be very tired and weary because of the huge responsibility that you are carrying because you are the parent who is having to do everything. God wants you to have faith.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6

We must fight the enemy of fear or hopelessness by focusing on the truth of God’s Word. The enemy is out to steal, kill and destroy your entire family. You must stand up, put on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), take captive your thoughts and use God’s mighty weapons of warfare as taught in 2 Corinthians Chapter 10.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

You can walk in faith and believe in God’s powerful Word. Believe in the power of God. Have faith and wait for the Lord to touch and change your spouse’s heart. Ask the Lord to give you faith that will move all your mountains!

What is faith? It is confidence in something or someone. True faith involves having confidence in the Lord that He will bring about His will in your marriage. God is who He says He is and does what He says He will do! Don’t ever forget that. On those days your mountain seems to be blocking your path, remind the enemy that your God has already been victorious!

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Now choose to walk and live in faith every day until your marriage is restored!

God bless,

Charlyne
