God must have great plans for my husband and I because I’ve been waiting on God for 8 years and 11 months. She talks about how crushing it was during that month of separation but imagine crushing every single day for 8 yrs & 11 mths…it never ends. It’s hard but I still choose to wait on God. When she said “it may not happen” is something I disagree with, I will never say that no matter how dead the situation is. We have to keep praying and waiting in God

I also disagree with the wife saying it may not happen who only had a month separation. To hear this is so discouraging and disheartening for us standers,

I have been waiting almost 12 years and it’s been so hard, and it’s only by the grace of God that lm still standing. I lost my marriage, my home and church support.
My husband is living with another woman, they have bought properties together, which really hurts. A few days ago he told me that he will never come back to the marriage. My heart feels broken again, but l refuse to give up. It’s only God that can bring healing, firstly in my own life, which He has and then in my husband’s because my prayer will line up with Gods will not mine. The most important thing is that my husband comes back to God first then to me and the family. I have to say that l don’t agree with the comment “it may never happen” and it was quite disappointing to hear. Sorry that’s not faith in God to heal our marriage. Faith is standing no matter what. Imagine how crushing it is waiting almost 12 years and to be repeatedly told that he will never come back no matter what. Thank God that He has given me the grace to stand.

Hello Kris, Gabrielle, Sarah, Kim and Annette. I don’t know how you’re doing now, but I’m praying this morning that you will see a forward move of God in your marriages that will strengthen your hearts.
I recently received some encouragement myself, I can’t see how far it will lead, but God has lifted me out of the doldrums and I’m standing on the solid rock again.

I found her comment discouraging too. She had a very short stand compared to so many of the standers I know. It was a sword through the heart, but I know what God has promised, and He who promised is faithful! I haven’t even seen my husband in 20 years and we live on opposite coasts.! We do email some though. That was an immature statement for her to make. But we don’t get our encouragement ultimately from another person but in Christ alone. I’ll be restored to my David.
I think He must’ve allowed me to hear that discouraging word just to test me and to say, “Do you trust Me, the creator, or a flawed creation of mine?”

My stand isn’t as long as yours but I’d just like to tell you that my husband’s parents reunited after many years. They both drew close to God and she said it was like it had never happened. They sat and did their Bible readings together each morning.
God restored the years the locusts had eaten ✨

It’s the same with praying for healing – we know it’s God’s will to heal – forget those niggling doubts!
I can’t understand why my marriage isn’t healed yet so I keep crying out to God! Read Luke 11 and Luke 18, then read the 1st letter of John chapter 5 verses 14,15.
God will answer our prayers. You know why – because we are asking in accordance with his will.
Also read Matthew 18 v 18.
